So, what other things have you missed?
Twilight Examiner compares the quotes featured in the Eclipse final trailer and Stephenie Meyer’s Eclipse:
Trailer: “Jacob what are you doing?” Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan.
Book: There was no direct quote from Bella like this because Edward is the first to address Jacob, but her first words to Jacob in this scene were as follows: “What are you talking about?” Bella Swan, Page 78.
Anyway, here’s what we think : Don’t break down the trailer too much Save it for the real thing on 1st July 2010 when the Eclipse hits Singapore!

Shot 1: Establishing shot of the La Push/ Forks area. Ain’t it pretty?
Shot 2: A dire-looking Jacob Black, walking toward the camera.
Shot 3: “Jacob,” Bella asks, standing next to Edward. “What are you doing here?”
Shot 4: “I’m here to warn you,” he responds.
Shot 5: A close-up of a pale-but-earnest Edward, ready to throw down with the wolf-man. “Just leave,” he says. “Now.”
Shot 6: “She has a right to know,” Jacob responds, eliciting a look of concern from Bella and a simple “What?” that will soon open an entire Pandora’s box of drama.
Shot 7: Welcome to the city! “We’ve been tracking this situation in Seattle for a while,” Edward says over a shot of the metropolis, a very different sight for a “Twilight” film.

Here’s #1:
David Slade’s dark and gloomy Seattle
With that aerial shot of rainy downtown Seattle, Slade opens up the Twilight world beyond the small town scope of Forks and Quileute country. Even during the span of the trailer, stakes feel higher than before, especially since more emphasis is placed on the killings in Seattle than there was in the book, where Bella’s life was always front and center. Whether it’s Riley being attacked in a darkened alley or later, leading a pack of newborns as they crawl insidiously over logs and machinery to gather at the dock, you already feel the tension mounting towards the big showdown between the Cullens, the wolves, and Victoria.

AB: What was your favorite part of Eclipse?
PF: I actually like that, in the book, a lot of the family members are talked about, and in the movie they’re in it a lot more. The books are all told from Bella’s perspective, so a lot of times, when she’s not in the scene and things are happening, you don’t actually get to see them, like the battle scene, for instance. In Eclipse when the whole family and the werewolves are fighting the newborn vampires, it’s talked about and through Edward you kind of get something, but in the movie you actually get to see it, you know, so I like that in the interpretations of the movies, it’s not always about Bella’s perspective. She isn’t always in the scene, and so that opens up the story a little bit. The Cullens are in it a lot more throughout.

USA Today has your first look at ‘ The Last Airbender’ starring Jackson Rathbone. The article states that ‘The Last Airbender’ will open in 2nd July 2010. Only 2 days after release of ‘Eclipse’. No matter what, we shall give support to both films when it hits here in Singapore!

Congrats to Jamie Campbell Bower for landing a role in a Harry Potter film. Read the news here (in French). Twilight Lexicon posted the news too:
Jamie’s manager confirmed what had long been rumored on Harry Potter sites, that Jamie Campbell Bower would be playing the role of Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film.
Hugh Jackman talks about Rob in an interview by People:
Now that he’s conquered the box office with Wolverine, Jackman is set to star in the 19th-century drama Unbound Captives with Twilight‘s Robert Pattinson. “He’s a really great actor and a really good guy,” said Jackman. “His role is phenomenal and it’s going to be really amazing stuff.” And what does he think about Pattinson’s famous hair? “I’m not an aficionado of hair, but his looks great.”

‘Twilight’ Star Robert Pattinson Sighted In The Vicinity Of Director Peter Berg, from MTV:
That said, Perez Hilton reported that the actor was spotted leaving the Los Angeles home of director Peter Berg yesterday while on a break from the ongoing “New Moon” shoot. Berg and Pattinson may very well just be friends, but this fanboy is hoping that the two met to discuss the actor’s possible involvement in Berg’s upcoming “Dune” remake.

A fan by the name of Stephanie posted this photograph on her Twitter account. It is of her wrist, tattooed with the signature of Robert Pattinson. While it is not unheard of, or completely extraordinary to have signatures or insignia tattooed on one’s body (I’ve seen the likes of Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon autographed into the skin of die-hard fans, and even the Earth symbol from Dan Brown’s book Angels & Demons etched into someone’s arm), but is this taking fandom of Pattinson too far, or is the decision completely ordinary?
