Tú Magazine Interviews Kristen Stewart: “It Will Be Hard When I Say My Last Words As Bella”
Our meeting was amazing! She has a striking personality. Despite being so petite, as soon as she walked into the Benedict Room at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, the place lit up!
The girl doesn’t want to be a simple star caught up in the glamour and the paparazzi. She’s an actress that leaves a mark because of her work. Her attitude and casual way of dressing do not overshadow her, because as much as she doesn’t want to be special, she is! She’s naturally beautiful, discrete, but at the same time very impatient.
Dressed in white and black t-shirts (layered) with a black sweater and jeans, she greeted us without stopping one second from squirming in her chair and fixing her hair up on a pony tail, brushing it back with her hand, playing with it from one side to the other…They say Eclipse is a darker movie, is it true?
Probably because of director David Slade, because his concept is more mature and scarier. A little bit like New Moon, but things get more complicated as far as the dynamic between the characters and their relationship with each other. And of course there’s the whole situation of vampires and werewolves trying to protect me.
Do you find the vampire world appealing?
We all find appealing the fact that vampires live forever and never age. Personally, there’s nothing in particular in vampires that appeals to me, but I love the way they are in Twilight.
What matters the most to you?
Acting, playing different characters and working with people that have more experience than me so that I can keep learning.How much has your life changed beause of the fame?
Success has made my life a little easier, I’ve managed to get amazing things. Now people ask me “what’s next? what project are you choosing?”. It’s a privilege having the opportunity to have those questions, even if it’s hard to answer them sometimes. I owe it to Twilight. Fame looks more spectacular from the outside than it does from the inside.
Fans complain that you don’t tweet, what is your relationship with social networks?
I can’t be online because, I have to be online! I’d love to please the fans because of the way they support us, but time is not enough. It wouldn’t be enough the ammount of time I spent online with them.
Music means a lot to you. Does it inspire you when you’re on the set filming a movie?
Definitely it’s one of the most sensitive elements I have, and it’s very satisfying to work and listen to my favorite songs. This new soundtrack is amazing.

Here are a couple of recent interviews done with Robert Pattinson.
First up is with the Sydney Morning Herald: Interview With A Vampire
Before Twilight, Pattinson was on the verge of quitting the acting game in favour of music. “With acting, a lot of the time you’re doing scenes you don’t really relate to and you don’t really know why you’re being cast half the time,” he laughs. He “understood” music. He’s been playing the piano since he was five. He composes and sings. It’s second nature. Acting isn’t. He still feels “awkward in front of a camera”.
Pattinson has a lovely voice and performed two songs in Twilight – something he now regrets. “When the first film came out I felt like a complete tosser,” he says. “It looked like I was trying to be cool or something, like Eminem. You know, be in a movie and then do a song for the soundtrack. But I didn’t look cool, I just looked ridiculous.”
Pattinson’s lack of self-confidence is staggering yet endearing. Compliment his singing and he’ll change the subject. Compliment his performance and he’ll tell you you’re bonkers. But he’ll stick to acting for now only because he’d “starve to death” as a musician.
But now he has to go. A plane is waiting. He yawns and looks tired. So how does he unwind?
“I don’t really need to do stuff to relax or get away because all my interests are part of my job,” he says. “Like I’ll watch movies to be inspired to do other movies. I read books to be inspired. I listen to music to be inspired to write music. Everything I do is to create something.”
Pattinson’s next film is Unbound Captives. He met Jackman in Japan recently for a little bonding ahead of the film. “We went karaoke singing,” he laughs. “We were singing Abba songs, it was pretty funny. It was sort of an Abba song sing-off, you know, last man standing.”
Who won? “I think he did, only because he can drink more than me and still sing in tune. He’s a cool guy and I’m really looking forward to that film.”
So are we. The Sexiest Man Alive meets the Sexiest Man on the Planet – now that should be interesting.

Tell us the truth, has being famous helped you get more girls?
(laughs) Yes and no. At first, girls can feel attracted to that, but then they realise you’re a real human being, with flaws and qualities, and there can be a certain disappointment. Many times girls find out that everything about you was just a fantasy. I think, in the end, I’m just like any other guy. I can’t be what everybody else wants me to be, I’m just me. And you can find many girls that have preconceived ideas of you, or imaginary things and that can be a problem, because when people find out you’re not really like that, they are disappointed. I have to confess that before making this movie I believed that the being famous could help me get more girls, but then I realized that is not as easy as I thought it was. In the end, if you like a girl, you still have to work hard at winning her over! (laughs)What other things did you have to learn?
That I have to be very careful with what I say and the information I share. I’ve learned not to share too much. But that’s a life lesson that anyone can learn from. You have to think things through before you open your mouth.
Speaking of Edward, what do you think you have in common with him?
I don’t know. I’m very sensitive and shy. I have supernatural powers too (laughs). No, i wish I did. But I’m too normal.What are we going to see with this new movie?
I can’t say much because it’s a secret. The idea is to surprise people and eventhough it’s based on the books, Chris Weitz gave it his touch, so you have to go see it! What I can assure you is that it will be visually stunning. chris is a genius and he loves to explore the New Moon world to the fullest. You can’t miss it. I haven’t seen it and I’m dying to see it.

He was one of the final two being considered for the role of “Edward Cullen” in the film “Twilight”, but lost out to Rob Pattinson.
