Cast News – The Summer House (finally!) director talks about her short film

MTV’s Hollywood Crush spoke to The Summer House Director Daisy Gili recently – among other things about Robert Pattinson in her film.
First-time director Daisy Gili said she actually cast Rob because she was recommended him by Campbell Mitchell, who had worked on props for another of his early projects, “The Haunted Airman.”
“He said, this guy is amazing, and he’s really nice, and I think he’d be really up for working on a short film,” Gili told MTV News. “I saw a picture of him and I thought, he’s fantastic.”
Up until that point, Rob’s costar Talulah Riley was best known for her work in Joe Wright’s “Pride & Prejudice,” and hadn’t yet starred in her big hit, “Pirate Radio” (known as “The Boat That Rocked” in the UK). Gili hired a cast director to find her an actress to play the short’s main character, Jane, and thought Talulah was the perfect fit.
“Talulah was amazing. The thing that I found most amazing about her was her versatility. You could give her a small amount of direction, and she would deliver a completely different but equally wonderful performance. I was like, wow,” said Gili.
But it was the chemistry between the two that really helped the film work. At 13 minutes in length, “The Summer House” follows Jane as she flees to France to stay with her aunt after her boyfriend Richard (Rob) dumps her for another girl. However, he follows her to the summer house to try to win her back and, on the night of the moon landing, tries to make his move. The result of his efforts helps Jane realize that — in Gili’ words — love isn’t black and white.
Gili felt the character of Richard was a struggle for Rob, because he had to play someone so different from himself. “He’s quite a gentle person. He’s a really nice person. And he has to play quite a not very nice character, and I think he struggled with that,” Gili said. “He wasn’t playing a role that he was particularly comfortable with, but he still manages to have a real presence: brooding, slightly menacing. You’re never quite sure whether he wants her because he wants to have sex with her or because he loves her. And I think he delivers that brilliantly.”
After watching the short, we have to agree with her on Rob’s performance, and “Twilight” fans will see a little bit of what would become Edward Cullen in Rob’s portrayal of Richard. But, beyond the great acting, the set and costume design were our favorite parts of the film. The short is based on a short story of the same name, and Gili said they were able to film for free in the summer house that inspired the story.

The LA TIMES has published a cheat sheet for Fans who have read the book from to back, back to front countless times over AND for people who are oblivious to the books!
Kristen Stewart
Character: Isabella “Bella” Marie Swan, Edward Cullen’s girlfriend and best friend of Jacob Black.Back story: Bella desperately wants to be changed into a vampire so she and Edward can share their love for eternity. Edward, though, is determined to keep her human to save her soul. It’s a dilemma made only worse when the ruling vampire body called the Volturi discovers that human Bella knows of their existence. They force a vow from the Cullen family to turn Bella within a year or they will kill her. Bella is also being hunted by the vampire Victoria, after the Cullens killed her sadistic mate James.Favorite “Eclipse” scene: “There were two scenes that just were very important to me and they happen one after the other,” Stewart says. “It’s when Jacob and Bella kiss and then she goes and talks to Edward about it. It was just so different from anything that I’ve played in this series so far. The movie is so very much about ultimate devotion, so to stray from that was just weird and cool and sort of makes the relationship between Edward and Bella a little bit more real because now she’s seen another side and she can actually consider something else for five seconds of her life.”Robert Pattinson
Character: Edward Cullen, the adopted son of Esme and Carlisle, adoptive brother of Emmett, Alice and Jasper, and Bella Swan’s beau. He has the ability to read minds, with the exception of Bella’s.Back story: It has taken the brooding Edward generations to fall in love and now that he has, he feels responsible for Bella’s life — and soul—so resists turning her into a vampire, though outside forces are weighing on him to do so. In “New Moon,” after a brief birthday fiasco puts Bella in mortal danger, Edward breaks up with her and the Cullens move away as a way to protect her from further potential harm from their kind. He soon finds it difficult to live without her and returns only to find Bella is in renewed danger and, in his absence, has developed a close relationship to her friend Jacob. Needless to say, Edward and Jacob, do not care for each other.Where is Edward 100 years from now? “Oh, God, I don’t know,” Pattinson says. “I mean, it seems like he’s gone through so many problems and the series is only over a period of like two years or something — or three years, maybe, for the whole thing. I mean, you can’t keep living like that … it’s just craziness the entire time. [Edward's] probably been killed or something.”Taylor Lautner
Character: Jacob Black is Bella’s best friend. He is a Quileute Native American and a member of the wolf pack.Back story: Though Bella is still clearly in love with Edward, Jacob’s feelings toward her have grown. He has also discovered that he is one in an ancient line of Quileute werewolves — mortal enemies of the Cullens though sworn to a long-standing treaty with the family as long as the vampires don’t harm humans. Suspecting Bella’s desire to become a vampire, Jacob reminds Edward of the Quileute-Cullen treaty, implying there could be trouble if she is bitten.Favorite “Eclipse” scene: “I liked the tent scene a lot,” Lautner says. “I had a lot of fun filming it. But another really fun one occurred right in front of Bella’s house after I kissed her for the first time … and she punched me. Edward and Jacob get into a huge fight and we’re yelling at each other and he grabs my shoulder and [Bella's father] Charlie comes storming out and breaks up the fight. It was really a funny scene to film.”Nikki ReedCharacter: Rosalie Hale, the adopted daughter of Esme and Carlisle, adoptive sister of Edward, Alice, and Jasper, and wife of Emmett.Back story: In “Twilight,” Rosalie isn’t too keen about the relationship developing between Edward and Bella. When the family vows to protect Bella from the killer vampire James, Rosalie reluctantly participates. In “New Moon,” Rosalie apologizes to Bella and Edward for her killjoy behavior. But when it comes time to vote whether Bella should be transformed into a vampire, Rosalie has her reasons to oppose it.Favorite “Eclipse” scene: “I really loved shooting my back story,” Reed says. “I really felt like I needed to do that for me. I was so happy when I read it in the script. I was crossing my fingers for the last two years that it would make it in [from the book]. I don’t know how much I enjoyed filming it — I was really nervous. You only get one shot to do that as Rosalie. But it was a really special scene for me.”Where is Rosalie 100 years from now? “I’ll be planning my 90th wedding because I keep making Emmett marry me and reliving that. It’s so amazing that he does everything I say.”
Julia Jones
Character: Leah Clearwater, the only female member of the wolf pack.Favorite “Eclipse” scene: “I think mine was one of the scenes in the big battle toward the end,” Jones says. “It was the wolf pack and so many of the other characters and we were kind of sequestered in this location far away from our trailers so we were kind of hanging out. There was a lot of the action element, but combined with this heightened emotion, which was fun. It was like working hard and playing hard.”Where is Leah 100 years from now? “I just think Leah would be tired. I hope she could get some rest. Some peace and quiet.”

Cast News – Robert/Xavier/Kristen/Chaske/Jodelle/Boo Boo/Tyson

Here’s Seventeen Magazine Argentina’s Exclusive interview with Robert Pattinson.
17: You had a lot of action scenes in Eclipse, was there a particularly complicated one?
RP: Hmm, I guess the hardest action scene was the fight scene. There is this great battle at the end of the movie. The set we were filming on was filled with artifical snow, and that snow was made out of paper. All of a sudden it got wet and the floor got incredibly slippery.. it was worse than real snow!
So after a while, it was terribly hard to work there.17: What was the biggest lesson that playing Edward has taught you?
RP: Something similar to what my dad told me once, that if you are a good person with the whole world when you are becoming famous, when you stop being famous those same people will be good to you. I think that is a good thing.
17: The best part about being an actor is…
RP: I believe it’s the daily work, as you prepare to play a character. It’s doing extensive research about whatever you think will help you.. whatever! You can listen to music, enjoy the arts, read books or simply study people. I think it’s the only job that allows you to do all of that.
17: You participated in the effort to help the people affected by the earthquake in Haiti, how was that experience like?
RP: It was amazing. When you become famous, you spend a lot of time thinking what that’s all about, or what to do with all that attention on you. When you discover that you can use fame to do good things, it’s amazing. I hope that what I did helped, and that it really made a difference for the people of Haiti.
17: Do you thing that with those actions you inspire other people?
RP: I don’t know, I’m trying. I believe that if you work hard enough, it does make a difference. I try and inspire people in a positive manner, and with luck that turns into something good for the world. You can’t judge yourself when you are contributing to the planet, or when you’re inspiring others. That’s for other people to say.
17: Is there something that bothers you?
RP: A lot.. millions of things (laughs), almost everything bothers me (laughs).
17: Do you have a dream that’s pending?
RP: I think recording an album. I would love to make that dream come true. I’m always writing songs, but I never give music enough time, much less to start working on an album.

Xavier, you’re calling from Europe, I understand. Whereabouts?
I’m driving in a black-tinted car on the streets of Berlin. That’s how you roll?
This is how I roll, man!Nice. You’re in Berlin shooting—wait for it—a Roland Emmerich movie about Shakespeare. Is this the same Roland Emmerich who did Independence Day and 2012? Please tell me the Rose Theatre blows up at the end of this one.
No, but there is a lot of green screen, a lot of special effects. They’re really re-creating the London from that time. It’s going to be quite visually spectacular. I play the Earl of Southampton. He’s one of the only people that Shakespeare ever dedicated his work to.Speaking of thrillers: You’re on the poster for the new Twilight film, Eclipse. How did this happen?
I did the audition from Sydney. I put the audition down on tape and sent it over.Actors are always putting themselves on tape. But they never actually get the role that way!
I’ve been doing that for quite a while—doing these auditions from Australia and sending them out. I don’t know whose desk they land on, or if anyone even watches them. To hear back was a surprise. I flew to Vancouver on a maybe. It was me and four other guys. And I was shooting before I knew it.Were you a fan of the Twilight series? Tell the truth.
I watched the first film on the plane, on the way over to Vancouver. Then I went straight to the bookstore.Funny. You play Riley, a hungry newborn vampire out on a rampage. Full disclosure: I read the book, and Riley’s only on one page.
Yes, I was flipping through the book, thinking: Where’s Riley? He’s whittled down to one line. But in the film, we venture into the world of Riley and watch him assembling this newborn army. It’s more action-packed. And it gives me something more to do, thankfully.Do you get to inflict much damage on the world?
There was no neck biting. I threw a vampire off of a burning car. I also threw a massive log with one hand. The log was attached to a hydraulic system. It made me look really strong.
Finally the July issue of British with Elle Kristen Stewart is out. Read on and Watch the BTS video!
The NativeTimes has a feature on Chaske Spencer.

Spencer’s character, Sam, and the rest of the wolf pack will have to step up in “Eclipse” to fight side by side with the good vampires to protect the humans who live nearby from the bad vampires.
The Quileute characters in the book live on the La Push Indian Reservation in Washington and “New Moon” director Chris Weitz insisted on authenticity when casting the characters for the movie.
“They had to have papers that proved their heritage,” Weitz said in a 2009 interview with USA Today.
Though many fans now see his face and automatically think of him as Quileute alpha wolf Sam Uley, that’s OK with Spencer.
“It’s great,” he said. “Sam is a great character. It is great to do something beyond the leathers and feathers roles that are often available,” he said.
Spencer, who’s appeared in “Skins,” “Dreamcatcher” and the TV miniseries “Into the West,” said it’s been very exciting to him to see such success in the entertainment industry.
“(It’s) a dream come true,” Spencer said. “It was nice to act in a movie as a Native American minus the stereotypes.”
Through the whirlwind of fame, traveling, events and shooting for the next movie, Spencer recalls his most memorable moment up to this point.
“Probably when my manager called to tell me I got the role (of Sam Uley,)” Spencer said. “And I couldn’t tell anyone!”
He now resides in Brooklyn, New York, and his work calendar is filling up faster than he can keep up with.
Spencer is currently finishing a film called “Shouting Secrets” which is scheduled for a 2011 release. He has a lead role along with other Native actors. Shooting will be wrapping soon, then Spencer has other projects lined up including “Winter in the Blood,” and the fourth movie in the “Twilight” saga, “Breaking Dawn.”
Q. You’re a new addition to the franchise. How did Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the others actors welcome you?
JODELLE: It’s always the little things that count, like saying “hi” to me, or saying “Oh, come sit over here, you look lonely.” You know, all those little things that I really appreciated because it made me feel more welcome. … They’re all really nice people.
Q. What’s really cool about “Eclipse”?
TYSON: There’s going to be a lot more action. … There’s a very climactic fight scene. There’s an entire war at the end of the movie, and I think it’s going to be a lot more guy-friendly.
Q. So guys will want to come with their girlfriends?
TYSON: Definitely. … Another thing that’s really, really cool … you get a lot of really cool background stories, like with the Quileutes [the wolfpack's Native American tribe]. And with the other vampires, too, like, you get to learn about the history, about who they are.
Q. For “Eclipse,” Bryce Dallas Howard replaces Rachelle Lefevre as the vengeance-seeking vampire Victoria. What can you tell us about her?
TYSON: She does a great portrayal of the character. I accidentally walked into her on set one day, and it terrified me. I walked around the corner and there she was, and she was in full make-up and everything, and I got so scared. … She was really, really intense.”
Q. The wolfpack is all about the abs. How did you prepare for the film?
BOOBOO: My mom actually trained me. She trained me at the gym. She’s really tough. She’s a personal trainer and she’s a Pro Fitness competitor, so she kicked my butt. … I put on about 10, 15 pounds.

Cast News: Rob’s hair – All GONE!

Check out Rob’s new look! This was taken by Celebrity Gossip.net yesterday (May 16th)
So whadaya think?
You like?
His new hair cut is apparently for the new film he is shooting these coming weeks. Water For Elephants – based on the book by Sara Gruen. Robert will play the role of Jacob Jankowski who is a veterinary student who joins a circus.
As a young man, Jacob Jankowski was tossed by fate onto a rickety train that was home to the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. It was the early part of the great Depression, and for Jacob, now ninety, the circus world he remembers was both his salvation and a living hell. A veterinary student just shy of a degree, he was put in charge of caring for the circus menagerie.
It was there that he met Marlena, the beautiful equestrian star married to August, the charismatic but twisted animal trainer. And he met Rosie, an untrainable elephant who was the great gray hope for this third-rate traveling show. The bond that grew among this unlikely trio was one of love and trust, and, ultimately, it was their only hope for survival.
Can’t wait to see this movie!
Eclipse News

A must read so head on to USAToday.com to read more.
“It’s so nice sometimes, preaching to the converted,” says Pattinson, 24, the London-born overnight sex symbol and primary reason for the screams. Thanks to his devoted worshipers, he has been elevated from a little-known Harry Potter supporting player to one of Time‘s 100 most influential people in the world in less than three years. They were out in force the night before at a Winfrey-sponsored screening of an unfinished print of Eclipse. Afterward, a firestorm of fan Tweets rife with “OMGs” gushed about the much-anticipated sequel to 2008′s Twilight and last year’s New Moon.
The leads did get raises — Stewart and Pattinson are taking home a reported $7.5 million each plus a percentage of the gross, Lautner gets $5 million — while the production’s price tag grew to $65 million, still modest compared with similar franchises.

Yet the few extra bucks seem to have paid off, especially with the effects. Even Lautner’s CG wolf alter-ego is more adorable than in New Moon. “Yeah,” says the actor, sheepishly. “It was very cuddly. I don’t know if that’s what we were aiming for.”
He waffles over the wisdom of sharing an anecdote about the scene in which the vicious horse-sized beast sweetly nuzzles Bella and she scratches his ear. After a little coaxing, he relents.
“That day I came on set and put on this tight gray spandex suit …”
“There is dialogue and I talk to him,” Stewart explains. “I said, ‘How am I going to do this without Taylor?’ ” So instead of the actress pretending that a massive computer-animated wolf was nearby, Lautner volunteered to be its stand-in.
“Basically, it looked like a Teletubby,” he continues about his outfit. “I had this circle on the face but everything else was covered. It was weird. But, yeah, I stood there and would literally bend over …”
“I would actually pet his head,” Stewart adds.

Next subject. The three are actively trying to ward off post-Twilight typecasting by doing solo projects in between. Stewart and Pattinson, both bookworms and drawn to art-house fare, earned OK reviews but underwhelming ticket sales for their two recent releases, the girl-band bio The Runaways and the romantic melodrama Remember Me.
But they continue to be in demand for more mature roles. Stewart is psyched to be a part of a big-screen version of Jack Kerouac‘s On the Road, which starts shooting in August. Pattinson recently wrapped his work on the London set of Bel Ami as a 19th-century social-climbing rogue opposite Kristin Scott Thomas, Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci. Does he bed all three?
“Yes, but they’re not like typical love scenes at all,” he says.
Adds Stewart: “They’re all a little weird. A little edgy. And a little nude.” Chuckling ensues.
Meanwhile, Lautner — a natural athlete who played a high school track star in the box-office-topping ensemble comedy Valentine’s Day— seems to be angling to become the next big action hero with upcoming roles in the thriller Abduction and Stretch Armstrong, a 3-D adventure based on a toybox muscleman.
Did he ever own one of the dolls, whose limbs could be pulled and elongated like taffy? “I don’t remember having one at my house, but I totally remember stretching that sucker.”
Then there is the next Twilight feature, Breaking Dawn, opening Nov. 18 next year. The fourth and presumably final book is so jammed with life-altering events — a wedding, first-time sex between Bella and Edward, a grotesquely painful birth — that there has been talk of doing two films back to back. And it might even be in 3-D. But the actors can confirm only their involvement.
2010 MTV Movie Awards

Its the time of the MTV Movie Awards again! The Hangover, New Moon, Avatar lead 2010 MTV Movi Awards nomination. And this time The Twilight Saga: New Moon dominates with 5 nominations, excluding Kristen, Robert and Taylor are nominated under the category ‘Global Superstar’!
Well, “Twilight” fans, you’ve done it again.

Here are a couple of feedback of those who thought of how we’re going to get nominated for the ‘New Moon’!
Kristen Stewart Scores Two Best Kiss Nods for MTV Movie Awards
KStew is not only nominated for her steamy kiss with Robert Pattinson in “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” but she could also win for her girly lip-lock with Dakota Fanning in “The Runaways.” Stewart has been quite the busy girl this year!
When MTV News caught up with the star last year, we asked which big-screen co-star was the better kisser: RPattz’s Edward Cullen or Fanning’s Cherie Currie. “Cherie, yeah,” Stewart laughed.
Nikki Reed Calls ‘New Moon’ MTV Movie Awards Nods ‘Wonderful’
“I mean, it’s wonderful — [especially] when you make a movie and you have absolutely zero expectations,” she told MTV News at the Young Hollywood Awards on Thursday night. Reed added that the cast had no idea that the “Twilight” phenomenon would resonate so strongly and passionately with their fans.
“When we made ‘Twilight,’ none of us knew what it was going to become. There’s inevitably a certain amount of pressure going back,” she continued. “You want to make sure the second one is just as good, so I guess we’re all really happy and relieved. All the actors love the books and the movies just as much as the fans.”
Go ahead and start voting for the Best Movie just like last year at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards!
Robert turns 24 today!

Time Magazine will be featuring Robert Pattinson in their 2010 TIME 100 The World’s Most Influential People. Rob is featured in the Artists section.
I have to be careful about what I write here because it will be tweeted the moment TIME hits the stands. And if I say something bad about Rob Pattinson, I’m dead meat. That’s the devotion the Twilight films inspire. It’s certainly not how he planned it. And though I am continually impressed by the aplomb with which he handles the hysteria, I occasionally think he would take it all back if given the chance. Because essentially, Rob, 23, is a reserved, bookish sort of specimen, a guy who’d rather spend the night at the corner table in the pub with friends — a bit of a weirdo, frankly, in the best sense.
So how to write about someone who seems to answer Freud’s rhetorical question, What do women want? Perhaps it’s just worth pointing out that it’d be fun to have a beer with him even if he weren’t Edward Cullen. That we haven’t seen a tenth of what he can do onscreen. And that important things, beyond the veil of Hollywood, occupy his time too — music, conversation, ideas, a sense of the absurd. Which, maybe, explains why he never gets to my e-mails. I love you, Rob! Call me!

Larry Carroll from MTV Mivies Blog has an interesting article where he sums up all of Rob’s rumours lately!
Rob’s Nirvana?: The Sun is a British tabloid that seems to specialize in stories about how Megan Fox is going to play Catwoman. Their latest “scoop,” however, was a real doozy — Rob was in regular contact with Courtney Love and had landed the role of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in a biopic. The rumor got a bit of traction, particularly because of RPattz’s well-documented love of music, but ultimately the Sun story was dismissed by Love’s reps, leaving the tabloid to offer all apologies.
Check out the rest of the rumors put to rest: Robert Pattinson’s Kurt Cobain Casting And Other Classic, Untrue RPattz Rumors. Well said, Larry!

“If she called me right now and said, ‘We’re making the movie,’ I would be really excited. I guess my question is, ‘How would it be to work with a parent?’ We’re really close and then, at the same time, we’re creatively very different. But, I think it would be cool if it happens.”
Hollywoodlife! has an EXCLUSIVE! Nikki Reed Backs Out of ‘K-11′ Movie with Kristen Stewart!
This is a shocker to me, really. I was looking forward to seeing Nikki and Kristen being in a prison movie.
The Hollywood Reporter shows that Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz has booked more movies, ‘Butter’ and ‘Love, Wedding, Marriage’ , repectively. And they’re both comedy films!
“Butter” follows a number of competitive characters in a small Midwestern town as they become entwined in an annual butter-carving contest. Greene will play a rebellious high school teenager named Kaitlen Pickler. (Do I smell a sequel built around anaerobic fermentation?)
‘Love, Wedding, Marriage’ – The story centers on a newlywed marriage counselor (Moore) who is thrown for a loop when she learns that her parents, whose marriage she’s always idealized, are headed for divorce. She sets out on a disastrous path to save their marriage at the expense of her own, manipulating loved ones to achieve her objectives. Lutz will play her husband; Brolin and Seymour will play the parents. – The Hollywood Reporter
Now we’ve got more movies to look forward to from our favourite Cullen siblings!
Check out this clip of Kellan on ‘The Nightmare on Elm Street’!
I’m not a big fan of horror movies, but this is just too exciting!

Robert Pattinson Wax Figure Revealed at Madame Tussauds!
MTV Hollywood Crush has a couple of pictures of dear old Rob, being made into wax! Robert Pattinson To Be Immortalized In Wax At Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussauds will feature a wax model of the “Twilight” star in both their New York City and London museums for fans to oogle at on either side of the pond. Photos of the mold were released today that show the molding of Robert’s head in progress. The clay head mold represents a crucial step in the up to six month-long figure creation process. According to a press release, a team of studio artists at the museum have been studying hundreds of photos and analyzing hours of video to ensure that they capture R-Pattz’s trademark sultry expression and inimitable style. Is anyone else wondering how they can sign up for that job?

And check out the final reveal of Madame Tussaud’s Robert Pattinson Wax Figure!
MTV Hollywood Crush has Robert Pattinson’s Wax Figure being greeted by screaming fans at Madame Tussauds NYC!
MTV News was on the scene as the historical moment unfolded, and we can report that Robert’srecently-made immortal figure provoked many screams and yells from the hordes of fans waiting outside Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Times Square bright and early (yup, one got there at 4 a.m.!) When given a chance to stand beside fake Rob, they acted exactly as we’d imagine they would next to real Rob — with laughter, kisses, shrieks and hugs. There were also plenty of hands running through his soft hair.
MTV Movies Blog has the news on Robert Pattinson Wax Figure Unveiled At Madame Tussauds where the fans got a chance to pose and take pictures with!
The figure took four months and $220,000 to create and is now displayed alongside Miley Cyrus, John Travolta, the Osbournes and Woody Allen.
The enthusiastic fans who waited in line for the unveiling (some since 4 a.m., and real Rob wasn’t even actually there) were able to run their fingers through the figure’s trademark mane of hair. Danielle Palermo said she didn’t want to mess up wax Rob’s coif. “I felt kind of bad [touching his hair],” she said. “The first time everyone went to touch him, they completely attacked his hair, and I felt really bad. Maybe I’ll just … I won’t exactly run my fingers through it, or you know, shuffle it around like everyone else did.”

Anna Kendrick was asked about her role in ‘Up in the Air’ and how was it like working with George Clooney. Anna Kendrick: Filming ‘New Moon’ Was ‘Nerve-Wracking’
Giving Clooney as good as she got.
“Sometimes, George gave me a really hard time. He was always kidding around about me being inNew Moon because I was shooting that at the same time. I decided that entitled me to give George a hard time right back. I think I made fun of him a lot more than I ever realized I would. Like he’d call me short and I’d call him old. If you’d told me before I did the film that I would be making fun of George Clooney that way I wouldn’t have believed you.”
Ashley Greene tells Hollywood Crush that her New Movie ‘Skateland’ Is About ‘Figuring Out Who You Are’
“It’s set in Texas in the 1980s and it’s basically a coming-of-age story of Ritchie Wheeler, who Shiloh Fernandez plays, but also my character, Michelle Burkham, and my brother Brent [played by Heath Freeman],” she explained. “There’s a place called Skateland that closes and it’s something that we all go to and we all kind of relate to and see ourselves around and we’re used to having this and it’s kind of ripped away and so it kind of jumpstarts us realizing that there’s a lot of things we have to figure out.”
Ashley Greene was recently interview at her new movie premiere of ‘Skateland’.
Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were on ‘The Late Night Jimmy Fallon Show’ to promote their biopic movie, The Runaways.
Parade.com interviewed Kristen on her role as the iconic Joan Jett on ‘The Runaways’ and what she thought about Rob on his new movie, Remember Me. Kristen Stewart: Robert Pattinson is ‘Bold and Different’
Filling the shoes of a rock icon.
“I think my generation doesn’t really know what The Runaways was. I didn’t, even though I was aware of Joan Jett. She’s a legend, so it was a big deal not only to meet her, but to have her on the set. The main thing that Joan talked about was just how much she cared about that period of her life because it jump-started her entire career. The Runaways was one of the first all-girl bands, so it’s an incredibly triumphant, feminist story. Joan became my friend and I was thinking about all she stood for and going, ‘Oh God, now I have to do her justice.’”
Parade.com also interviewed Dakota on her new image as Cherie Curie in ‘The Runaways’. Dakota Fanning: I’m Ready to Have People See Me In a Different Way’
Taking on a real-life role.
“I’ve never played an actual person before, so it was really wonderful to have Cherie Currie there on the set every day. And I just wanted to do her justice. I hoped that I could be half as good as she was and live up to what we love about The Runaways.”
MTV Movies Blog asked Kristen Stewart about her kissing scenes with Dakota on ‘The Runaways’ and asked her was it better than kissing Edward Cullen. LOL!
Stewart talked to us a few months ago about the kissing scene and went into a bit more detail, saying that sharing an onscreen kiss with Fanning didn’t really faze her all that much. “It was never a big deal to me either … especially the way it was written into the story and the way it wasn’t, ‘And they finally get together,’ ” she explained about the kiss, which in the film acted as an extension of their friendship and their “bond” as bandmates.

MTV Hollywood Crush has an exclusive Clip of ‘The Runaways’ as Kristen Stewart plays on the guitar
Parade.com has a two-part interview with Robert on his new movie, Remember Me.
Part 1 – Robert Pattinson: ‘I Didn’t Like the Way ‘New Moon’ Was Treated By Critics’
The reality of becoming an overnight success.
“I think you really cause yourself a lot of problems if you start fighting against it. There’s nothing you can do. I mean, there’s no mysticism to it. People recognize you and they want to talk to you, or want to see you. My trick is not to see them as a crowd. If you break down every crowd into individuals, then it’s more manageable. It’s just when you start seeing these huge masses of people screaming at you that you start going crazy. So I try to focus on a few faces and not the mass.”
Part 2 – Robert Pattinson: ‘I Don’t Remember the Last Time I Asked Someone on a Date’
Ditto with unleashing his macho side.
“I related to Tyler in that I wish I could have done things like he did when I had the opportunity. There is something quite satisfying about being a little bit more reckless and even fighting. It’s quite cathartic to just sort of randomly start hitting someone. It was fun kind of, letting all your rage go on the set. We had this big scene where I punch out some guys. It went fine and nobody was really hurt at all. But, at the end, I was like doing this thing where I was hitting myself in the arm, sort of pumping myself up. They cut it out of the movie, but I punched myself so hard that I was in a lot of pain for the rest of the shoot. It was the most stupid thing I’ve ever done.”

Access Hollywood has a new Behind-the-scene of Kristen Stewart doing the cliff diving scene!
Parade.com has Kristen Stewart: ‘I Know What It’s Like to Get Broken Up With’
Her toughest scene.
“It’s when Edward tells Bella it’s all over and they’re never going to see each other again. There’s nothing like it in reality. It’s not even like a normal breakup scene because I know what it’s like to get broken up with. I don’t know what it’s like to get broken up with by a vampire. It’s like suddenly whatever has addicted an addict is taken away from them and they go through total withdrawal. That’s what Bella was going through. To portray that was really intimidating.”
And here’s another behind the scene of Taylor Lautner trying out his dirt bike.
Parade.com has Taylor Lautner: ‘I’m Having the Time of My Life’
The big makeover.
“I had my eyes on the prize. My trainer was like a sculptor. He was going, ‘I want this bicep to peak more.’ He was very detail-oriented. The hardest thing was the diet I was on, while getting in the gym and pumping up was easy. I had to consume at least 3200 calories a day just to maintain my weight. Putting something in your mouth every two hours is difficult. I was going from meeting to meeting, so there was no time for eating. I literally would have to carry a little baggy full of beef patties, raw almonds, and sweet potatoes. I mean, it wasn’t like eating ice cream and cake every two hours.”
Lastly, Mirror.co.uk has a Never-Seen-Before Robert Pattinson scene from The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD!
Parade.com also has on Robert Pattinson: ‘Love Can Be More Lethal Than a Vampire Bite’
The scene where he almost took it all off.
“I felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square, ripping my clothes off. I was essentially doing a striptease. But here’s the irony, it was also one of the moments where I’ve really felt closest to people’s emotional attachment to Edward. There were so many extras in that scene who were Twilight fans who had flown in just to be a part of it. It was a moment where I’ve felt the whole weight of anticipation, and I guess responsibility as well, of being Edward, for all the people who were kind of so obsessed with the stories. It was quite uplifting and it was also very nerve-wracking.”

CNN has managed to attain a very interesting interview with director, Chris Weitz. ‘New Moon’ director gets away from frenzy
CNN: In the DVD commentary, you said you let the opening shot of the moon go on and on because you figured there would be 30 seconds of screaming when the titles came up. Was that true?
Weitz: The first time I saw it, there was quite a lot of screaming, just because of the buildup and anticipation were so great. People had been waiting so long to see it that it was good that they had a bit of time to calm down before you first saw Bella.
