Anna Kendrick was asked about her role in ‘Up in the Air’ and how was it like working with George Clooney. Anna Kendrick: Filming ‘New Moon’ Was ‘Nerve-Wracking’

Giving Clooney as good as she got.
“Sometimes, George gave me a really hard time. He was always kidding around about me being inNew Moon because I was shooting that at the same time. I decided that entitled me to give George a hard time right back. I think I made fun of him a lot more than I ever realized I would. Like he’d call me short and I’d call him old. If you’d told me before I did the film that I would be making fun of George Clooney that way I wouldn’t have believed you.”

Ashley Greene tells Hollywood Crush that her New Movie ‘Skateland’ Is About ‘Figuring Out Who You Are’

“It’s set in Texas in the 1980s and it’s basically a coming-of-age story of Ritchie Wheeler, who Shiloh Fernandez plays, but also my character, Michelle Burkham, and my brother Brent [played by Heath Freeman],” she explained. “There’s a place called Skateland that closes and it’s something that we all go to and we all kind of relate to and see ourselves around and we’re used to having this and it’s kind of ripped away and so it kind of jumpstarts us realizing that there’s a lot of things we have to figure out.”

Ashley Greene was recently interview at her new movie premiere of ‘Skateland’.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were on ‘The Late Night Jimmy Fallon Show’ to promote their biopic movie, The Runaways.

Parade.com interviewed Kristen on her role as the iconic Joan Jett on ‘The Runaways’ and what she thought about Rob on his new movie, Remember Me. Kristen Stewart: Robert Pattinson is ‘Bold and Different’

Filling the shoes of a rock icon.
“I think my generation doesn’t really know what The Runaways was. I didn’t, even though I was aware of Joan Jett. She’s a legend, so it was a big deal not only to meet her, but to have her on the set. The main thing that Joan talked about was just how much she cared about that period of her life because it jump-started her entire career. The Runaways was one of the first all-girl bands, so it’s an incredibly triumphant, feminist story. Joan became my friend and I was thinking about all she stood for and going, ‘Oh God, now I have to do her justice.’”

Parade.com also interviewed Dakota on her new image as Cherie Curie in ‘The Runaways’. Dakota Fanning: I’m Ready to Have People See Me In a Different Way’

Taking on a real-life role.
“I’ve never played an actual person before, so it was really wonderful to have Cherie Currie there on the set every day. And I just wanted to do her justice. I hoped that I could be half as good as she was and live up to what we love about The Runaways.”

MTV Movies Blog asked Kristen Stewart about her kissing scenes with Dakota on ‘The Runaways’ and asked her was it better than kissing Edward Cullen. LOL!

Stewart talked to us a few months ago about the kissing scene and went into a bit more detail, saying that sharing an onscreen kiss with Fanning didn’t really faze her all that much. “It was never a big deal to me either … especially the way it was written into the story and the way it wasn’t, ‘And they finally get together,’ ” she explained about the kiss, which in the film acted as an extension of their friendship and their “bond” as bandmates.

Kristen talks more about playing Joan Jett while doing her Vanity Fair photo shoot.

Parade.com has a two-part interview with Robert on his new movie, Remember Me.

Part 1 – Robert Pattinson: ‘I Didn’t Like the Way ‘New Moon’ Was Treated By Critics’

The reality of becoming an overnight success.
“I think you really cause yourself a lot of problems if you start fighting against it. There’s nothing you can do. I mean, there’s no mysticism to it. People recognize you and they want to talk to you, or want to see you. My trick is not to see them as a crowd. If you break down every crowd into individuals, then it’s more manageable. It’s just when you start seeing these huge masses of people screaming at you that you start going crazy. So I try to focus on a few faces and not the mass.”

Part 2 – Robert Pattinson: ‘I Don’t Remember the Last Time I Asked Someone on a Date’

Ditto with unleashing his macho side.
“I related to Tyler in that I wish I could have done things like he did when I had the opportunity. There is something quite satisfying about being a little bit more reckless and even fighting. It’s quite cathartic to just sort of randomly start hitting someone. It was fun kind of, letting all your rage go on the set. We had this big scene where I punch out some guys. It went fine and nobody was really hurt at all. But, at the end, I was like doing this thing where I was hitting myself in the arm, sort of pumping myself up. They cut it out of the movie, but I punched myself so hard that I was in a lot of pain for the rest of the shoot. It was the most stupid thing I’ve ever done.”

New Moon News

MTV Movies blog has an interview with ‘New Moon’ director, Chris Weitz where he reveled 5 secrets regarding the film.

Why So Torn Up, Edward?: At one point in the film, Pattinson’s Edward Cullen appears in a ripped T-shirt, but we never learn why. So … what the heck happened?

“What it’s supposed to be is that he’s essentially been wearing the same clothes for several months, and that eventually they’ve just worn out because, as you I’m sure know, his body is like stone. So he must’ve rubbed up against something and it ripped,” Weitz said.

Here’s Rob at the premiere of ‘Remember Me’ being interviewed by Access Hollywood.

If there was anyone would choose whether a girl should date someone like Edward Cullen or Tyler Hawkins, who else to ask other than the man who played both chracters, Rob!

The Remember Me Facebook page has released a podcast of the “Rob Pattinson & FilmMaker Chat” Part 1.

In the romantic drama Remember Me, Robert Pattinson plays Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City who has a strained relationship with his father (Pierce Brosnan) ever since tragedy separated their family. Tyler didn’t think anyone could possibly understand what he was going through until the day he met Ally (Emilie de Ravin) through an unusual twist of fate. Love was the last thing on his mind, but as her spirit unexpectedly heals and inspires him, he begins to fall for her. Through their love, he begins to find happiness and meaning in his life. Soon, hidden secrets are revealed, tragedy lingers in the air, as the circumstances that brought them together threaten to tear them apart. Set in the summer of 2001, Remember Me is an unforgettable story about the power of love, the strength of family, and the importance of living passionately and treasuring every day of one’s life. Remember Me also stars Academy Award® winner Chris Cooper, and Academy Award® nominee Lena Olin. Remember Me opens in theaters nationwide on March 12.

Its pretty interesting cos they talk about how ‘Remember Me’ came into each of their ‘radar’. Looking forward to Part 2!

[UPDATED and Added @1216pm]

Thanks to PattinsonLife here is an account of a fan who attended a few of Rob’s appearances in New York earlier this week. And she was very well rewarded for her dedication and being polite and respectful! Thanks to for sharing with us Alicia!

@The Today Show

After getting the wrist bands, I ran back to The Today Show in time for the start of the show where Ivy joined us shortly after.

From where we stood, we could see Rob walk into the lobby from the secret underground parking lot. He spoke to the Today Show staff for a few minutes before walking out to acknowledge the crowd, sign autographs and take pictures prior to taping his segment. As you can guess, the crowd was in an uproar with excitement.

He went back in and a few minutes later taped his segment with Matt Lauer. After his part on the show was completed, he graciously went back out to the crowd. He came towards us and started signing autographs just to the left of us. Rob even cracked jokes while signing. Someone in attendance had a giant Remember Me poster and Rob laughingly asked, “Did you steal this?”

He stayed signing autographs and taking pictures for less than five minutes before being rushed back into the lobby.

@The Remember Me Premiere

At the completion of the movie, all of the fans gave a standing ovation. Rob & Kristen left the theater prior to the credits starting but most of the cast lingered briefly. Many of us fans were able to interact with the cast and special guests in attendance like Tom Sturridge, one of Rob’s best mates.

I was able to meet Victoria Pattinson, Rob’s sister, downstairs. I mistook her for Elizabeth and told her how much I enjoyed her singing. She graciously accepted the compliment but informed me that I had mistaken her for Elizabeth, as many have. I managed to turn the embarrassment into a joke and had her laughing. Later upstairs, while Victoria spoke with her Mum and (I’m guessing) her aunt, I polity asked to have my picture taken with her. She graciously agreed. Victoria is so tall and even if she hadn’t been wearing platform heels, she would still have towered over me. I must say that Victoria Pattinson is an extremely lovely person.

I was too shy to speak with Mum Pattinson. Even though I wanted to give her a hug for raising such lovely well mannered children who remain grounded despite having been thrust into fame.

He added: “I had read tonnes and tonnes of scripts over the summer after I did Twilight, I mean hundreds, and everything seemed exactly the same.

“But this one, the way the dialogue was written, it just seemed much more naturalistic than most things.

“It’s not really a feel-good movie. They don’t make movies like it anymore, I think that’s how I kind of choose stuff, that’s the only criteria I have. There seems to be a gap in the market for something and I just try and do that.”

Oh my! Remember Me is opening in the US on 12th March in the US and 18th March here in Singapore and we’re estatic to get MORE TREATS before this movie opens, in the form of  Behind The Scene footage (20 minutes worth!) and On Set interview with Robert Pattinson. Heaps of Thanks to Collider.com

(Dare I say – its as good as having the dvd but not actually having seen the movie yet! hehe if that makes sense ;) )

Summit Entertainment has provided us with a Robert Pattinson on set interview and a ton of behind the scenes footage from Remember Me.  While I generally don’t post studio provided interviews, I know how popular Robert Pattinson is, and the 9 minute interview isn’t online yet.

And regarding the behind the scenes footage…when a movie is filming, the studio will document the process and release what’s called B-Roll.  This is generally footage of the cast and crew working on location, or footage of the cast filming a scene. If you’re curious what being on a movie set is really like, you’ll enjoy the footage.  Remember Me stars Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, and Chris Cooper.  Allen Coulter directed the film and William Fetters wrote the script.  Hit the jump to check out the footage and interview:

CNN’s Entertainment reporter, Andrea Mineo wrote about her ” 8 Minutes with Robert Pattinson” on CNN’s The Marque Blog:

Yesterday I interviewed R. Patz (as his fans affectionately call him) at the Regency Hotel here in New York. He was wearing an army-green jacket, a plain white-T and jeans. What really stood out was his hair. It was sticking straight up on top. It seemed to me that he was unlike most actors with preening stylists in tow. I liked that.

They held me right before it was my turn to go into his room. I could overhear one of the girls on headset saying, “Where are Robert’s lattes? It’s been a while.” Soon a tray came up to the room with two metal pitchers.

When I walked into to the room they announced my name and that I was with CNN. Pattinson stood up to shake my hand. This rarely happens at press junkets. Journalists are ushered in and out interview rooms like a revolving door – no one gets up.

I thought Robert looked a little pale, perhaps that’s what was making his green eyes seem so green. He was easy to talk to and relaxed, although through most of the interview his hands were moving. At times they were in his hair – now I understood why it was standing up seemingly on its own. He might have seemed a little sloppy, with his unruly hair and his slouchy T-shirt, but perhaps that is what made him more endearing.

I asked him how he was doing. He didn’t complain; he motioned to the small table nearby which now had his coffee.

He asked me if I was based in New York. I told him that I was.

“That’s cool,” he said. “How have you been finding the snow?” he asked in his soft-spoken English accent.

“It’s been okay, manageable.” I answered. I think he started to say “Can’t deal with it,” when suddenly we heard someone yell “SPEED.”

We both laughed – it was time to start the interview. No time for small talk, there was a cattle drive outside of journalists waiting for their handful of minutes with him.

I asked Pattinson about the film and if he thought it was about love and the fragility of life.

“Sometimes people come into your life like at the right time and you know they achieve, there’s like a purpose they’re destined to achieve something. But I don’t know if it’s necessarily about love but it does fix something in either one of them.”

Apparently Robert Pattinson’s ‘Remember Me’ is gaining very good reviews on Twitter from people who’ve seen it. Seems like this movie is garnering accolades on its on merit and we guess there’s no denying with a little help from Twilight fans & Robert Pattinson fans.

Here’s a collection of clips from the film. Thanks to Collider.com and Omelete!

What shall we say? Knock yourself out till movie opens here on 18th March! ;)

Hitfix.com, Collider.com and The Examiner.com were among who attended the roundtable interview during the press junket for ‘Remember Me’ on the 27th of February in New York. Here’s some snippets from their reports. Click on the links provided for the full version.

“Breaking Dawn” was the longest book in the “Twilight” series, but Robert Pattinson doesn’t “really mind either way” whether its film adaptation should be one long film or two.

“If they can make it one script… It depends. l wouldn’t know where the first one would really end and the second one would begin. I mean, either way, there’s [more] movies to do, and people like them,” said the 23-year-old English actor, who plays Edward Cullen in the movie franchise.

…. Pattinson not only spoke on films to come, but also ones that passed him by. When asked if he’s ever been offered a script or role that he turned down for feared of not pulling it off, Pattinson revealed that Academy Award-winning “There Will Be Blood” “will always be one of my biggest regrets.”

“I remember reading the script and thinking it was the best script ever. I just couldn’t do it. And I was so pissed off afterwards. I was gonna go into the audition, but I was just, like, I can’t do it,” he laughed. “Also ‘The Assassination of Jesse James [by the Coward Robert Ford]’ — that was the other. I don’t know why I’ve pussied out of these things. I wouldn’t do it ever again.”

This movie is so steep. The locations are amazing in the film, and it feels so authentically New York. What’s interesting to me is so much of the cast aren’t New Yorkers and don’t have a New York accent, and you’re Brooklyn accent is on point. I wonder if, working on that, what kind of research you did, or if you knew a lot about New York in 2001. And what it was like to film in the streets of New York?

Pattinson: My sister lived in New York for like 5 years and I used to go visit her all the time. I don’t know. When I read the script there seemed to be a sort of voice that was just there as soon as you read it. I’ve never had a dialect coach or anything. Ironically I’ve only had a dialect coach for this film I’m doing now, which I’m doing now in an English accent. (laughs) I guess I’ve forgotten how to do an English accent.

Both characters seem to really be embracing life, and I think audiences will really come away with that. What do you think is the overall feeling around love. What will people learn from watching this film?

Pattinson: I think one of the things, which I always liked about it, is that he doesn’t. Like when you meet someone who you feel whatever for, it doesn’t necessarily mean that that’s a finish line, and that’s like “oh you’ll be alright now afterwards.” I think that worked in the relationship with Allie and Tyler. I think it’s to show that its sort of ok to have, if you just have one moment of happiness, where you can feel that you’re happy, even if it just lasts for a minute. It’s worth a lot. Because I think people now, everyone does all of these things because they think they should be happy like all the time. Doing therapy, and taking anti-depressants and all of these things. If you’re happy all of the time, it’s difficult to acknowledge when you actually are happy.

So that was a sum total of your New York research?

Pattinson: (laughs) No, I mean it was nice. I was sort of staying, it’s difficult to go out and stuff there at the time. I’ve gone out more in New York since. There’s funny little things which happened, experiences which I had in New York which were put into the script. Like a friend of mine, the whole fight in the beginning, how that was all set up, it happened to a friend of mine the day before we did the rewrites to the script. We were down in Alphabet City, and this guy jumped out of the car with a little mini baseball bat and just hit my friend in the face. The whole thing. It was literally the day before. The whole thing was put into the movie. (laughing) Annoyingly, I didn’t react in the same way. (laughing)

Alan spoke a lot about your focus that you had to maintain while shooting because of the constant paparazzi attention and the screaming fans. What was that like for you to shoot such an emotional movie under the eye of people Twittering about it, and people screaming at you?

Pattinson: It’s like the first two weeks were kind of crazy, because I was all around NYU and Washington Square park and there’d be tons of people around anyway. I think it was annoying people as well, that all of these crowds came and disrupted peoples days, so that was really difficult at the beginning. But, I think after that you just get used to it. You just block certain things out. I was trying to figure out a way to use the sort of rage that was built up, but you couldn’t really use it for that character. If the same thing had happened during this movie that I’m doing now, it would have been perfect and I could have gone around hitting paparazzi and stuff and it would have been great because I would have been staying in character. (laughs) But it didn’t really work for Tyler, he’s not that kind of guy.

Read the whole thing at Collider.com

Was there a time where you were sitting with Alan Coulter and the producer and something clicked for you? Can you talk about why you were attracted to this character, and about taking that step to produce?

Robert Pattinson: Well, the producing thing. (laughs) I’m kind of embarrassed about the producing thing because I wasn’t really acting like a proper producer. I only really came on after the shoot just to kind of help Alan and Nick make sure that the product was what the product in which we all wanted to make in the end. It was the summer after the first Twilight thing. I read it then and I met with Alan and Nick. I thought they were really great, and I talked to them for hours about it. I think basically what I commented to them about was, what shocked me was I was reading a ton of scripts and it just didn’t fall into any, the way the dialogue was written and the plot was structured, it didn’t fit into any kind of normal category. It didn’t seem very formulaic. I had just read tons and tons of formulaic scripts in one genre or another and it was just such a relief to find that. There was also something about Tyler, the way he reacted to things seemed very relatable to me, and I hadn’t seen another character like it in like 100 scripts. So that’s why when the period came up between New Moon and Eclipse, we only had two months, you can’t really do that much, it’s difficult to find a movie which can fit in such a short period. It seemed like the perfect fit.

What makes you happy?

Robert: I don’t know. It’s like these weird little things. It’s like what I was trying to put across in the movie, when funny little things happen, it’s not just meeting Allie, it’s all of these things kind of melds together and it hits you from left field, and you’re just like “oh yeah, I’m happy” (laughs)

Do you see yourself trying to sort of make a big gap between Twilight and everything else you do so people realize there this…something so different from the phenomenon that everybody focus on?

More to you…

Robert: No, I don’t really focus on trying to do it, I don’t think. I pick scripts the same way, I think, that I’ve always done. I barely like anything, and so it’s kind of easy to pick your jobs. The things which I’m signed onto now are all completely different. Like I’m playing a white Comanche in one thing and the parts completely in Comanche. Bel Ami is, I thought there was a kind of irony in Bel Ami as well, because a lot of the women are attracted to this character and then he kind of screws them over and steals their money and stuff. (laughs) Which I thought was quite funny compared to the Twilight character. (laughing) It’s kind of the polar opposite. It wasn’t intentional, I just thought Bel Ami was very funny, and it’s a very interesting character. With Remember Me, I’d never done a simple story before, and it’s not that simple, but its playing a normal guy and trying to relate to things on a normal level it’s kind of relief in a lot of ways.

MTV Movies Blog has Kristen Stewart reminiscing about her FIRST ‘Twilight interview.

“That was the first time you asked me about ‘Twilight’!” Kristen smiled when we caught up last week at the “Handkerchief” junket. “I remember the interview! … You were like ‘So, what’s up with this [movie]?’ “Actually, she brought up the film. “The movie is called ‘Twilight,’ ” she said during that January 2008 encounter. “Catherine Hardwicke is directing it in Washington. It’s based on a book that’s pretty popular [among] young adult, high school kids.

Collider has just recently interviewed Kristen Stewart for The Yellow Handkerchief and there are also a couple of audio interviews from the rest of her co-stars.

Q: You made this film before Twilight. Is it hard to think back to that? Would you approach things differently now that you have this international profile?

KS: I guess because I don’t hold the reigns, really I follow, to put it absolutely lamely, my heart, I don’t think I would have made a different – - it would be really a shame if just because I did one movie, and I know it’s four or five or whatever, but it is one story. It’s one project for me. It’s the same character. It’s not like that changes, so if something like that would then affect choices, I don’t have this scheme of how people are going to receive my movies in the order that I do them and why I do scary movies and why I do movies about “disaffected teens,” which I get all the time. They’re just people I really wanted to play. I don’t know what the hell I’m doing. I’m just playing parts that speak to me.

There is also a new TV Spot for The Runaways that will be in theaters on March 19! Gossip Cop has the latest details on their premiere dates. ;)

Kristen Stewart gives two thumbs-up to Robert Pattinson in his new film, ‘Remember Me’:

With all the kissing scenes Stewart has shared with Pattinson, “Twilight” fans already have plenty of reason to be jealous. Now they have another — she’s already seen Rob’s film and she gives it two KStew thumbs-up.

“I’ve seen the movie, I’m going to just say — I’m sure people will be like, ‘Oh my God [I'm so jealous!],” she laughed. “He’s really good in the movie.”

Here’s a really great interview of Kristen and Eddie (Kristen’s co-star in ‘The Yellow Hankerchief’). Enjoy!

Eddie, were you intimidated by Kristen because she’s this big superstar?
Eddie: I was pretty intimidated by the whole prospect of the film, playing an adopted Native American.
Kristen: Opposite Kristen Stewart.
Eddie: I think I was more scared of getting my accent right than I was about my leading lady.

Did she ignore you the first three weeks of filming, as some tabloids have reported?
E: No, she’s wonderful… I was by myself in New Orleans and Kristen was there with her family. They properly took me under their wing. I was even made a quasi member of the family for Mother’s Day. They were incredibly lovely to me. We hit it off pretty much from the word go.

So this call is to announce your engagement, right?
E: Hell yeah.

So we’ll see the wedding on the cover of People next week?

E: Guaranteed.
K: Just as soon as I have Rob’s baby.

LOL WHAT?! (Re: Kristen’s answer above) :D  You can read the whole interview here.  Just so you know, Eddie went to school with Prince William! WOW!

Kristen said although she first attempted to find out more about her “Twilight” co-star from his pal, she realized Eddie’s lips were fairly sealed.

“I sort of got from [Eddie] that they were friends for a long time and he wasn’t going to say anything bad about him. Even if there was something bad, it was just sort of like, ‘Yeah, it’ll be good,’” Kristen laughed.

Eddie confirmed he and his British boys club buddies stick together, a group that includes Eddie, R-Patz and “Vanity Fair” actor Tom Sturridge.

Kristen thought that it was much more relaxing to not have a job at the moment, as she told EXTRA.

And here’s another ‘Ask Rob’ video on YouTube for Remember Me, this time asking if he likes having a little sister.

IESB.net just had an interview with Kristen Stewart about her film, The Yellow Handkerchief.

Q: What was it like to play this character, when you hadn’t done too many major roles, at the time you did this film?

Kristen: Anytime you have to play a person who is not yourself, you’re stepping out of a comfort zone, but that’s what we do. If the role is bigger, that’s just more to chew on, and that’s always good.

Q: What about Martine resonated for you?

Kristen: I can relate to her, in that she’s such the typical girl that really wants to be out there and smiling and totally in the middle of whatever is going on, but has been embarrassed one too many times and has just gone, “I can’t do that anymore.” I feel like she’s also isolated herself. She’s put herself above everyone else. She can’t talk to people because they’ve let her down too many times and, in reacting to that, she made herself better than them. And, through this journey, which is such a cool thing to see such a young person go through, she realizes, “Oh, God, I never looked at you and now I’m opening my eyes and I can see you, and I was wrong.” I liked that.

In the meantime, HitFIx has a short write-up on the film and Kristen’s take on Breaking Dawn. And also an interview with her and her co-star, Eddie Redmayne.

Woot! Robert Pattinson & Emilie De Ravin will be featured in the March issue of Vogue promotingRemember Me‘.

Ask Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin about shooting their new movie, Remember Me, and they instantly start talking about the throngs of Twilight fans and pushy paparazzi who swarmed around them as they filmed on the streets of New York.

“It was the most ridiculous experience,” says Pattinson, flashing the sweet, shy smile those crowds hoped to see. “You’re trying to stay in character and you’re trying to walk down the street, but all those people keep reminding you that you’re not this character, you’re—”

“A show pony,” cracks de Ravin, and the two burst into laughter.

For his part, RPattz (as he’s known to his teen worshippers) is eager to start playing complicated human beings and not just heartthrobby vampires. Not that he doesn’t relish being Edward Cullen or feel loyal to his fans, but he still hasn’t figured out how to cope with being an international icon in an era when it seems impossible to escape the public eye.

“Everybody knows where everybody is,” he says. “The Twitter thing is unbelievable. I went out a couple of times with Pierce. He’s totally recognizable, and he makes no effort to tone it down. Some people were glancing over at us in the restaurant, and he just went over and introduced himself. And it does work. It dissipates all the attention.”

So, does Pattinson use this trick?

“Me?” he says, shaking those famously tousled locks, “I just crawl under the table.”

Pretty Huh.. read all here!

The other magazine that is featuring Robert this March  is Details Magazine. The feature on Rob is pretty in-depth and funny BUT WARNING has to be given to readers ESPECIALLY YOUNG READERS as the images in this magazine may offend some viewers due to the graphic nature of the images. PROCEED WITH CAUTION ESPECIALLY FOR YOUNG READERS and don’t say we didn’t warn you!!!

You don’t have to look at the photos – just read the article written by Jenny Lumet who rewrote the screenplay for ‘Remember Me’ cos it’s just plain interesting. :)

Rob’s face is constantly busy—especially his kaleidoscopic eyes, which are continually rolling and dilating, because he is always thinking. Over the course of that latte, he contemplates Jimi Hendrix, French fries, girls, art, beer, his cousin the philosopher, girls, truth, God, his dog, girls, and whether this week’s stalker has followed him from L.A. I don’t think he could turn his brain off if he wanted to.

Despite the legion of fans trailing him from hotel to hotel, laying siege to each like the Roman army, he is neither fearful nor cocky—he’s hungry, curious, forever reaching intellectually. That may not sound like a big deal, but think of the context: Complete strangers want to **** you, shoot you, be you, buy you, sell you, run their fingers through your hair, watch you have sex, hear you pee, eat chips with you, and kidnap you and stuff you in the trunk of their car. And you? You must know more, more, more about exotic tropical diseases.

Fourteen months later we’re in London. New Moon, the second movie in the Twilightsaga, has set box-office records for largest midnight opening and biggest opening-day gross. Remember Me, Rob’s young-man-in-crisis drama, has wrapped. He has 24 hours before he has to start rehearsals for Bel Ami, based on the Guy de Maupassant novel, in which he plays a bed-hopping social climber.

He is waiting to pick me up in the bar of my hotel. He has ordered himself a pint of beer and, remembering my beverage of choice, a Diet Coke for me. He has the lovely manners of the good son of a good mum.

He says he wants to take me to a particular restaurant nearby, “just a little out-of-the-way place.” So out of the way, it turns out, that after wandering around nearly all of Covent Garden, we can’t find it. He doesn’t seem too surprised, really. Of late he’s been getting lost a lot in his own hometown. But then it’s been a couple of years since he’s actually lived here, and London is confusing as hell anyway.

He doesn’t want to miss anything, which implies a hint of regret. He didn’t always want to be an actor. He modeled. He’s a talented guitarist and keyboard player who has toyed with following his older sister Lizzy into pop music. But he’s a serious type, and his most serious aspirations involved political speech writing. “It’s fascinating. You’d have two or three minutes to affect someone. Make them hear you. Get the message out and maybe it will echo. I quite enjoyed doing press for the first Twilight, because there was a similarity. But after a bit I was ladling it out. If you want people to listen to you, you’d better have something to say. I felt a responsibility to be fascinating. You’re bargaining with the audience. Is this enough for them? And that affects the way you look at art.”

Art. It’s illogical to think he’s not allowed to have ideas about it merely because he has helped a lot of people make a lot of money.

Happy Chinese New Year & Happy Valentine’s Day! [Edited]

It’s a rare occasion to celebrate Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day on the same day! Without further ado, Twilight Singapore would like to wish all the Chinese readers a very Happy Chinese New Year! Its a New Year and we hope that the year of the Tiger is a good year for all of us! We  would also like to wish all Twilighters a Happy Valentine’s Day! Enjoy the long weekend guys! And if you have the time, do catch Taylor Lautner in Valentine’s Day, showing in cinemas now! :)

EDIT: (Added by Profit2829) Checkout the ICE HEART @ Times Square!

The heart will be at Times Square till February 22nd and you can check on it till then and see the changes as it melts. New York is sooo cold that I don’t think it’ll melt at all!  You can track it here at Moorhead & Moorhead who designed the sculpture!

Times Square Valentine, 2010

Ice Heart is a 10 foot tall heart constructed of masonry scaled blocks of ice. Kaleidoscopic in nature, the ice blocks pick up the lights, colors and activity of Times Square, feeding off its natural chaos.

Ultimately Ice Heart is a celebration of the temporary nature of the Times Square Valentine installation. Left to run its own course, the heart will slowly transform, as it melts, eventually disappearing completely.

Whilst at Times Square we also checked out the ‘Remember Me’ poster. The billboard was over at 43rd Street.

A long post today with updates from the Twilight cast members who are making waves of their own – Anna Kendrick, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Anna Kendrick has down a new interview with Reuters.com - talking about what she’s been up to and being Jessica Stanley.

This week, Kendrick, 24, earned a supporting actress Oscar nomination for her work in “Up in the Air,” playing a perky young executive out to teach George Clooney’s character how to fire people in the modern-day world of computer communication.

The Oscar nod — her first — followed her role in November’s box office hit “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” and this week Vanity Fair anointed her one of the fresh faces to watch in its annual Hollywood issue.

But the truth is, Kendrick’s “fresh face” has been racking up accolades on stage and in independent films for years before she hit the mainstream jackpot with the “Twilight” movies and now “Up in the Air.”

Still, this past week’s Oscar nomination and the month of awards shows and critical acclaim that came before it have caught Kendrick in a whirlwind of big-time Hollywood publicity that she still can’t quite grasp.

“There’s always a part of you that’s going to feel like a version of yourself that couldn’t find a job and you wonder what tricks you pulled to get into the party,” Kendrick told Reuters.

While she may not have been in the Oscar “party” before, it’s not the first time, Kendrick has won the hearts and minds of critics and fans. At age 12, she was the third youngest Tony Award nominee for her role in Broadway musical “High Society.”

Five years later, her singing and dancing wowed audiences in the 2003 musical film “Camp.” It was Kendrick’s first-ever movie and resulted in an Independent Spirit Award nomination. A second Indie Spirit nod followed with 2007′s “Rocket Science.”

She still has one more “Twilight” film, “Eclipse,” due in theaters on June 30. In the saga, Kendrick portrays Jessica Stanley, a friend and classmate of lead character Bella Swan. It is a small role, but enough to make her a recognizable face to her fans without overshadowing the rest of her career.

“I’ve been really lucky to not be defined completely by that series,” says Kendrick.

The entire cast originally signed contracts for the first three installments, and Kendrick said she still does not know if her character will be in the fourth film, “Breaking Dawn.”

“I honestly feel like Jessica is one of those characters that if she wasn’t in the movie, nobody would miss her,” she says. “At the same time, I feel a certain affection for the films so if they ask me, I would love to. I don’t have my fingers crossed either way.”

Check out Taylor Lautner in Valentine’s Day:

A great read for K-Stew fans. For Kristen Stewart, this is her dawn by LA Times:

Call it a casting fluke, call it kismet. In both of her movies premiering at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Kristen Stewart portrays a 16-year-old runaway.

For the gritty family drama “Welcome to the Rileys,” the “Twilight Saga” star inhabits a role quite unlike Bella Swan, the long-suffering vampire-lover character that made Stewart an international icon. She plays Mallory, a stripper-hooker with a porn star’s wardrobe and a mascara-tarred visage whose sexual frankness could make a trucker blush.

In the high-octane coming-of-age drama “The Runaways,” meanwhile, Stewart portrays real-life proto-punk Joan Jett, who co-founded the all-girl teenage rock band called — you guessed it — the Runaways at age 16. In the film, Stewart’s character snorts cocaine, makes out with costar Dakota Fanning and drunkenly urinates on an electric guitar.

In this next article from MTV, Kristen compares her role in ‘Welcome to the Rileys’ and ‘Twilight’:

In an earlier interview with MTV News, the actress argued that even though the film presents her in a far different light than the “Twilight” films, fans of the vampire franchise will find much to connect with in “Rileys.”

“Most ‘Twilight’ fans are young girls, and this is a really, really good story for them,” she said. “It just sort of opens your eyes. You just don’t have any options.”

Dakota & Kristen is featured in EW for being the Stars of Sundance. Thank you ___thatshott via lion_lamb.
