Hey guys we tweeted this afternoon that there will be a interstitial for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse where we get to see our very own Singapore Ido, Sezairi Sezali interview the casts.
The first interstitial will be today at 1855hrs. Don’t worry, if you missed the first one, don’t forget to catch the second one after the local news at 2155hrs!
Tune in to Channel 5 onwards from July 1 to watch the interstitial where Sezairi serenades Kristen Stewart with a ukelele! Can anyone say dreamy?

Sometime in 2010, one hopes, the official announcement that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is greenlit will be released. At this point, fans have no doubt that the film will be made, but whatever the hold-up may be, it hasn’t happened yet. Of course, it’s probably just a matter of time . . . At any rate, the day that the official announcement comes will be a fantastic one for fans of the Twilight series. Until then, we wait with bated breath . . . and speculate whether it’ll be one or two films.

As we all know, Rachelle Lefevre will not be joining the The Twilight Saga: Eclipse cast but is replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard. For some who, many will know her as Gwen Stacy from Spiderman 3 but others do not
Channel 5 will be showing a premiere of Spiderman 3 this evening at 1845hrs. So if you would like to see who Bryce Dallas Howard is or is a fan of Spiderman, do catch the premiere of the movie on Channel 5 tonight!

Robert Pattinson was my first interviewee, he said I looked like his mate from school. Bonus points for me to tell all the tweens screaming Patt fans out there but hey just saying I was going to interview the cast I had to regret not wearing earplugs.
Ashley Greene was pretty and nice left an impression on me for being down to earth and engaging. Taylor was not that buff but then again he did the interview with his shirt on, Kristen looked like a vampire with her short black locks and she reminded me of a young Jodie Foster.
All in all they were very proud of this 2nd installment of the saga and it definitely plays out like a movie series and it doe’snt need my nudge to say go see it, it’s already a sure sell. The timing is right after the Twilight freshness. So enjoy!
We learned from Channel 5 that some of our questions were asked but they will not be airing the full interview because the interviews were edited into 1 minute interstitials that we have seen broadcasted on 19th & 23rd December.

We would like to apologize again for the hiccup on the 18th that caused so many of us to miss the 1st interstitial - from reports from our friends they saw the interstitials on the 19th and 20th instead.
And now we have received news from MediaCorp’s Channel 5 that they have decided to move up the broadcast of the 2nd Los Angeles Press Junket Interstitial to Sunday (22nd November – yes tomorrow night!) instead of 23rd November.
We’ve decided to move forward the premiere of the second junket interstitial – it will be played on Sunday, right after News 5 Tonight.
Please look out for it!
Btw, News 5 Tonight ends at 10.00 pm (2200 Hours).
2nd Interstitials will be broadcasted at 1000 pm on Channel 5
So you guys have the Time & Place to tune in so watch it okay!

Its great that they are great pals and helping each other a lot. Only good friends help you to do this stuff! Its hard work -they must’ve hauled a dozen boxes into that convertible! Goes to show Rob & Nikki are regular people too – who go out and get boxes when they move or whatever those boxes are for. But then again in Singapore I always get my boxes delivered to my door step. Haha.. But wait, is Rob moving somewhere? Is Nikki moving? Are they moving together? What are those boxes for my darlings?? Hmmm…we ponder…

I managed to watch Melanie Oliveiro reviewing Twilight early this morning on CNA PrimeTime Morning, ‘Zoom In’. In addition, Suzanne Jung mentioned that there is a fanbase here in Singapore for Twilight! (Oooh, that’s us!)
Read Melanie’s review below. I had to went through what i have recorded and type it all down here. Hopefully i did not miss anything out.
What do you think of her review, Twilighters? - – - NOTE: Previously, we shared with you guys the dates of when Twilight news will be appearing on Mediacorp. For sure, it is confirmed that there will be THE MAKING OF TWILIGHT on Channel 5. It will air on Tuesday, 23rd December 2008, 7.30PM. YAAAAAAYYYY!!!! Also, Robert Pattinson may (Keyword: MAY) appear on MTV’s TRL on this Monday, 15th December 2008 (Originally aired in US Nov 6th). Local time for MTV’s TRL is 1000-1030 Hrs and 1600-1630 Hrs. So, do keep a look out, we’re not very sure about this. Just keep your fingers crossed or something!The first film adaptation of the best selling series, Twilight, celebrates a modern day love story involving a vampire, Edward Cullen and a human, Bella Swan.
Now Bella moves to a small rainy Washington town to live with her father. Like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Bella not only has to put up with teenage pre-occupations like prom night and homework, she also has to juggle a forbidden romance with her classmate, Edward, the undead.
On his end, Edward fights an overwhelming animal instinct to suck Bella dry. He instead romances her tenderly, without giving in to his darkest desires.
But soon other vampires get a whiff of Bella. So its up to Edward and his family to protect her sweet long neck.
Okay let’s start with the film’s pace. It’s too slow at the beginning and by the time it picks up speed, it is only towards the end. I felt the film maker puts in way too much time portraying the growing romance between Bella and Edward and there are one too many scenes of the doomed lovebirds staring hypnotically into each other’s eyes as the cameras swirled around them. Enough already!
As for Robert Pattinson who plays the lovestruck Nosteratu Edward, his amateur acting skills will distract you. Instead of coming across as mysterious and darkly sexy, he looks more like a bug-eyed heroin junkie who wears this perpetually perplexed look on his face, like his trying to figure out a difficult math problem. But he is eye candy nonetheless!
The rest of the cast pulled out good measured performances though. Now this film will mainly appealed to the Generation-Y youth. It’s tailored-made for them.
Okay for most devoted fans of the Twilight series, this film will not dissapoint. But for the majority of us who will evaluate it as a gothic vampire romance tale – it’s not so hot and if i may it lacks BITE!
Watch Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula (1992) instead. I’m giving it 3 Popcorns.
