Celebuzz has an article – For Pals Sam Bradley & Robert Pattinson: The Laughter Continues in Vancouver.
“Every time I made a mistake, I kept looking over,” Bradley tells Celebuzz. “At one point I walked off-stage and just started laughing.” Bradley was playing the cover of “Man’s World” by James Brown, ran into some problems and left the stage to pick up his folder. He looked up at Pattinson hanging out in the stage wings, out-of-sight. “I just started laughing,” says Bradley. “And he was just smiling back.”
Moviefone with Robert Pattinson Talks Gossips.
1. I heard that you follow all the online gossip about yourself?I read that and thought it was such bullshit. I was like, “God, I sound like such a loser!”
2. So it’s not true?
Well, I do sometimes. I used to a lot more before and then … I only look at the negative stuff. I just want to know whoever’s saying negative stuff, and I just want to remember their names. I write it all down in my black book. [Laughs]
From Model to Meatworker, Stuffs.co.nz has an article on Nina Schubert, Rob’s old girlfriend.
She has lived most of her life in London. She went to school there with Robert Pattinson, who lived around the corner and they ended up at the same drama school.
“Rob is still a really good friend of mine. He’s hopefully going to come here, if he can get a break from working. I gave him my paintings when we lived together in London. Now he’s commissioned me to paint one for him and I’m working on it.
“I do really big abstract canvases, influenced by geometric patterns like chessboards and latticework, mainly black and white. I’m interested in optical illusions.”

Instyle tells us more about the Hair Secrets from the Set.

The first step in getting Pattinson and Stewart to resemble their characters Edward and Bella was a hair transformation. “Both of their hair colors were from a previous film and needed to be corrected for their Twilight roles,” says Mary Ann Valdes, the movie’s department head hairstylist. To get the right shade, she had the actors try on wigs and when the color was decided on, she sent them to Beverly Hills salon owner Stuart Gavert (with the help of co-colorist Jonathan Castellanos) take care of the coloring.

Twilight/New Moon News

Kristen Stewart appeared on The Jimmy Kemmel show. She talks about her new films, The Cake Eaters & Adventureland plus the upcoming sequel, New Moon.
Frosty from Collider.com participated in a roundtable interview with Kristen Stewart. Frosty has the audio interview and the partial transcript right here.
Thankfully, Kristen was in great spirits, so when we finally started talking about “New Moon” she was cool with the questions. But while many are just looking forward to “New Moon” and “Eclipse”, she’s also going to be playing Joan Jett in “The Runaways”, and after hearing her talk so passionately about the project, I can see it means a great deal to her.
LA Times Blogs ( The Dish Rag) and Hitflix reports the same thing too. Check their articles respectively.

He’s Hot. He’s Sexy. He’s Undead.
Two years ago, Robert Pattinson was a forgotten extra in a ‘Harry Potter’ movie. Then he got cast as a blue-balled vampire in ‘Twilight,’ the year’s kazillion-dollar movie franchise, and every woman in America over 14 wants him. Too bad he’s not sure he wants them.
Oh yes, GQ sent Cullen Boys Anonymous an amazing Rob’s spread layout in the GQ’s April Issue. You can read the article and view more of Rob’s photos at Men.Style.Com (Warning: Language for article)

Entertainment Weekly has an article – Why The Third ‘Twilight’ Movie Might Not Suck.
Because it now looks likely that the third movie, Eclipse, will be directed by Spanish film-maker Juan Antonio Bayona. “Who?” you may ask. And that’s a fair question. Bayona is hardly a household name—yet! But his debut movie, The Orphanage, was one of the great creepfests of the past few years—a gorgeous-to-look-at horror film about a missing child and the ghosts who may, or may not, have taken him. The result was entrancing, unsettling and, at times, utterly terrifying. Everything, in fact, that Twilight is not.
The Orphanage trailer:
However, please bear in mind that Summit has not officially confirmed anything yet regarding the director for ‘Eclipse’. LATimes Blog has the full story – Summit hires new ‘Twilight’ director, right? Wrong!
By sheer coincidence, I had lunch today with Erik Feig, who’s president of production at Summit and the man most involved with managing the hit series of films. (“New Moon,” the second film in the series, begins production later this month with Chris Weitz at the helm.)
Feig was shocked to see the media reports saying Summit had hired Bayona, since — ahem — they’re not true. “The ‘Eclipse’ directing job hasn’t been offered to Juan Antonio or anyone else,” he told me. “We’ve met with three or four talented filmmakers and we’ll be meeting with three or four more other candidates before we make any decision. No one has been offered the job.”

More of Robert At The Red Carpet/ The Oscars 2009

MTV has another video interview with Rob at the Red Carpet. See it here. MTV told Rob that ‘Eclipse’ will be released on 30th June 2010.
“I didn’t even know that,” Pattinson says about the June 2010 release date for the third “Twilight” film.
LA Times Blog did live blogging during the Oscar. You can read the rest here:
6:57 p.m. EDWARD!!!
Robert Pattinson, who is taller in person than you might think, was preceded by his brow and then his hair as he sauntered into the backstage area preparing to present with Amanda Seyfried. The stage manager gave them directions, coaching that he’d withheld from the more experienced presenters. He told them how to walk on and how to walk off. Producer Laurence Mark sipped hot tea behind them. “This is the real deal my darling,” the stage manager told Seyfried as she waited to go on. Pattinson stared out at the audience, with that soulful look that has made him such a teen fantasy. When they returned, Seyfried was jumpy with adrenaline and as she was guided away shouted out “Bye, dude!” to Pattinson. –GP

Twilight News

MTV has an article regarding the Eclipse’s movie release date, 30th June 2010 – Is it a good thing or a bad thing?

Okay, Twilighters, here’s the good news: You’ve made it to prime time. The release date is in late June, prime tentpole territory typically reserved for the likes of Will Smith, superheroes and hundred-million-dollar Michael Bay movies. No more of these November, let’s-hope-we-catch-the-teens-while-they’re-home-for-the-holidays release dates for you guys. In fact, a quick peek at the 2010 release schedule shows that “Eclipse” will be butting heads with such heavyweights as “Prince of Persia,” “Toy Story 3” and Jackson Rathbone’s “The Last Airbender.”
Unfortunately, there’s also some bad news: Eyebrows were raised among the fans when the “New Moon” release date was announced as being a year after “Twilight” arrived in theaters. Now, “Eclipse” will hit screens a mere seven months after “New Moon.” Figuring in the roughly three months that Chris Weitz required to prepare the second film, that gives the director of the third movie barely four months to shoot it, edit it, get the special effects up to speed and put the film in theaters. Source.
And, Box Office Mojo has an article regarding Eclipse’s movie release date too. Read it here. Thanks Jan for the heads-up!
