ECLIPSE NEWS – Eclipse Promo in Australia

More stuff from Australia – Interviews that Taylor and Kristen did!

The Vine.com.au has a great interview with the Eclipse main cast and check out the awesome videos they dug up featuring young Kristen & Taylor!

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner arrived in Australia this week to promote Eclipse, the latest film in the Twilight franchise. TheVine’s Darryn King met them both in a crowded hotel room in Sydney – both laughing easily, both interested in what the other had to say – for a very brief few minutes talking about their early break-out roles, their latest roles, and coming to terms with the life that Twilight has brought them.

KRISTEN: [Having just eaten something.] Oh my God. That’s so bad.

TAYLOR: [To me, by way of explanation:] She’s just tried one of the protein bars that I have to eat right now.

[To Kristen] Are you bulking up?

TAYLOR: Yeah, you know, it helps, but they’re pretty crappy.

KRISTEN: It’s disgusting.

TAYLOR: I thought I’d share the joy with her.

I know you’re being asked a lot about a certain movie [gesturing at the film poster which stands in the room as a constant reminder] but I want to ask you about a certain Porsche commercial.

KRISTEN: Oh my!

I have to say it’s a pretty subtle and nuanced performance for a nine-year-old.

KRISTEN: Thank you.

TAYLOR: [leaning towards Kristen:] What did you do?

KRISTEN: The first thing I ever did. I was in a Porsche commercial.

Do you remember performing in it?

KRISTEN: Yeah, very very much so. It was fun. I’d grown up on set – my Mum’s a script supervisor and my Dad’s in TV and stuff – it was weird for me to be on set I had a job at. I’d grown up hanging out and eating crap food with them. I was really excited to finally have something to do.

TAYLOR: Wow.

Well that Porsche commercial was one of the things that made David Fincher sit up and take notice. You’ve mentioned that you’d find it too embarrassing to sit down and watch Panic Room.

KRISTEN: Yeah, it would be. I haven’t seen it in a really long time. It was a really long shoot, and I’m really glad that Jodie [Foster] was the first impression I got from an actress. She treats everybody so great and she’s really an extra hand on set, helping to make the movie. She’s not like a diva at all. I mean, obviously. Everybody knows that. But that’s the one thing I remember, hanging out with Jodie every day in a room that was much, much, much smaller than this. Pretend that you’re scared, pretend to have a seizure. I didn’t take it seriously. I was just doing it because it was fun.

On that note, Taylor, how seriously did you take your role as Sharkboy [in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl]?

TAYLOR: At the time, I took it pretty seriously. I was twelve years old and I was a superhero. I thought that was pretty cool. [laughs]

Can you watch that ‘dream dream dream’ lullaby you had to sing?

TAYLOR laughs particularly hard]

KRISTEN: I have to see that movie.

TAYLOR: No, no, no. Don’t. I actually had someone over the other day, literally a week ago, and they hadn’t seen it. And they’d heard about that lullaby and they just wanted to see that scene. So yeah I just watched it a week ago.

KRISTEN: [teasing] How did that make you feel?

TAYLOR: [making a show of looking humiliated] It made me feel fantastic.

KRISTEN: Most of the embarrassing things people to do in their childhood aren’t for public consumption.

Yours are a YouTube search away.

;) Read ALL at The Vine.com.au!!

Next:  Kyle and Jackie O

Thanks to KStewartfans!!

Here’s the full interview from Australian morning show Sunrise.

[UPDATED SECOND PART NOVA FM INTERVIEW - PART ONE WAS HERE]

Miss Stewart, aka Bella Swan also some thoughts about her fans in Australia:

“Everybody has a different way of showing it,” says Kristen. “Like in Japan, you can see it eating at them, they want so badly to scream but they’re not going to, and then a few of them do, and then here they’re like HEY HOW’RE YOU GOING, YOU’RE AWESOME! I LOVE YOU! It’s always different.”

Cast News – Robert/Xavier/Kristen/Chaske/Jodelle/Boo Boo/Tyson

Here’s Seventeen Magazine Argentina’s Exclusive interview with Robert Pattinson.

17: You had a lot of action scenes in Eclipse, was there a particularly complicated one?

RP:  Hmm, I guess the hardest action scene was the fight scene. There is this great battle at the end of the movie. The set we were filming on was filled with artifical snow, and that snow was made out of paper. All of a sudden it got wet and the floor got incredibly slippery.. it was worse than real snow!
So after a while, it was terribly hard to work there.

17: What was the biggest lesson that playing Edward has taught you?

RP:  Something similar to what my dad told me once, that if you are a good person with the whole world when you are becoming famous, when you stop being famous those same people will be good to you. I think that is a good thing.

17:  The best part about being an actor is…

RP: I believe it’s the daily work, as you prepare to play a character. It’s doing extensive research about whatever you think will help you.. whatever!  You can listen to music, enjoy the arts, read books or simply study people. I think it’s the only job that allows you to do all of that.

17: You participated in the effort to help the people affected by the earthquake in Haiti, how was that experience like?

RP: It was amazing. When you become famous, you spend a lot of time thinking what that’s all about, or what to do with all that attention on you. When you discover that you can use fame to do good things, it’s amazing. I hope that what I did helped, and that it really made a difference for the people of Haiti.

17: Do you thing that with those actions you inspire other people?

RP:  I don’t know, I’m trying. I believe that if you work hard enough, it does make a difference. I try and inspire people in a positive manner, and with luck that turns into something good for the world. You can’t judge yourself when you are contributing to the planet, or when you’re inspiring others. That’s for other people to say.

17: Is there something that bothers you?

RP: A lot.. millions of things (laughs), almost everything bothers me (laughs).

17: Do you have a dream that’s pending?

RP: I think recording an album. I would love to make that dream come true. I’m always writing songs, but I never give music enough time, much less to start working on an album.

GQ Magazine has featured our favourite Newborn, Riley played by Xavier Samuel in their latest issue . Check it out!

Xavier, you’re calling from Europe, I understand. Whereabouts?
I’m driving in a black-tinted car on the streets of Berlin.

That’s how you roll?
This is how I roll, man!

Nice. You’re in Berlin shooting—wait for it—a Roland Emmerich movie about Shakespeare. Is this the same Roland Emmerich who did Independence Day and 2012? Please tell me the Rose Theatre blows up at the end of this one.
No, but there is a lot of green screen, a lot of special effects. They’re really re-creating the London from that time. It’s going to be quite visually spectacular. I play the Earl of Southampton. He’s one of the only people that Shakespeare ever dedicated his work to.

Funny. You play Riley, a hungry newborn vampire out on a rampage. Full disclosure: I read the book, and Riley’s only on one page.
Yes, I was flipping through the book, thinking: Where’s Riley? He’s whittled down to one line. But in the film, we venture into the world of Riley and watch him assembling this newborn army. It’s more action-packed. And it gives me something more to do, thankfully.

Do you get to inflict much damage on the world?
There was no neck biting. I threw a vampire off of a burning car. I also threw a massive log with one hand. The log was attached to a hydraulic system. It made me look really strong.

The NativeTimes has a feature on Chaske Spencer.

Spencer’s character, Sam, and the rest of the wolf pack will have to step up in “Eclipse” to fight side by side with the good vampires to protect the humans who live nearby from the bad vampires.
The Quileute characters in the book live on the La Push Indian Reservation in Washington and “New Moon” director Chris Weitz insisted on authenticity when casting the characters for the movie.
“They had to have papers that proved their heritage,” Weitz said in a 2009 interview with USA Today.
Though many fans now see his face and automatically think of him as Quileute alpha wolf Sam Uley, that’s OK with Spencer.
“It’s great,” he said. “Sam is a great character. It is great to do something beyond the leathers and feathers roles that are often available,” he said.
Spencer, who’s appeared in “Skins,” “Dreamcatcher” and the TV miniseries “Into the West,” said it’s been very exciting to him to see such success in the entertainment industry.
“(It’s) a dream come true,” Spencer said. “It was nice to act in a movie as a Native American minus the stereotypes.”
Through the whirlwind of fame, traveling, events and shooting for the next movie, Spencer recalls his most memorable moment up to this point.
“Probably when my manager called to tell me I got the role (of Sam Uley,)” Spencer said. “And I couldn’t tell anyone!”
He now resides in Brooklyn, New York, and his work calendar is filling up faster than he can keep up with.
Spencer is currently finishing a film called “Shouting Secrets” which is scheduled for a 2011 release. He has a lead role along with other Native actors. Shooting will be wrapping soon, then Spencer has other projects lined up including “Winter in the Blood,” and the fourth movie in the “Twilight” saga, “Breaking Dawn.”

The SunTimes of Chicago interviewed 3 juniour members of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse namely Jodelle Ferland, Boo Boo Stewart and Tyson Houseman.

Q. You’re a new addition to the franchise. How did Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the others actors welcome you?

JODELLE: It’s always the little things that count, like saying “hi” to me, or saying “Oh, come sit over here, you look lonely.” You know, all those little things that I really appreciated because it made me feel more welcome. … They’re all really nice people.

Q. What’s really cool about “Eclipse”?

TYSON: There’s going to be a lot more action. … There’s a very climactic fight scene. There’s an entire war at the end of the movie, and I think it’s going to be a lot more guy-friendly.

Q. So guys will want to come with their girlfriends?

TYSON: Definitely. … Another thing that’s really, really cool … you get a lot of really cool background stories, like with the Quileutes [the wolfpack's Native American tribe]. And with the other vampires, too, like, you get to learn about the history, about who they are.

Q. For “Eclipse,” Bryce Dallas Howard replaces Rachelle Lefevre as the vengeance-seeking vampire Victoria. What can you tell us about her?

TYSON: She does a great portrayal of the character. I accidentally walked into her on set one day, and it terrified me. I walked around the corner and there she was, and she was in full make-up and everything, and I got so scared. … She was really, really intense.”

Q. The wolfpack is all about the abs. How did you prepare for the film?

BOOBOO: My mom actually trained me. She trained me at the gym. She’s really tough. She’s a personal trainer and she’s a Pro Fitness competitor, so she kicked my butt. … I put on about 10, 15 pounds.

Eclipse News

USA Today did a a noteworthy interview with Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart yesterday.

A must read so head on to USAToday.com to read more.

“It’s so nice sometimes, preaching to the converted,” says Pattinson, 24, the London-born overnight sex symbol and primary reason for the screams. Thanks to his devoted worshipers, he has been elevated from a little-known Harry Potter supporting player to one of Time‘s 100 most influential people in the world in less than three years. They were out in force the night before at a Winfrey-sponsored screening of an unfinished print of Eclipse. Afterward, a firestorm of fan Tweets rife with “OMGs” gushed about the much-anticipated sequel to 2008′s Twilight and last year’s New Moon.

The leads did get raises — Stewart and Pattinson are taking home a reported $7.5 million each plus a percentage of the gross, Lautner gets $5 million — while the production’s price tag grew to $65 million, still modest compared with similar franchises.

Yet the few extra bucks seem to have paid off, especially with the effects. Even Lautner’s CG wolf alter-ego is more adorable than in New Moon. “Yeah,” says the actor, sheepishly. “It was very cuddly. I don’t know if that’s what we were aiming for.”

He waffles over the wisdom of sharing an anecdote about the scene in which the vicious horse-sized beast sweetly nuzzles Bella and she scratches his ear. After a little coaxing, he relents.

“That day I came on set and put on this tight gray spandex suit …”

“There is dialogue and I talk to him,” Stewart explains. “I said, ‘How am I going to do this without Taylor?’ ” So instead of the actress pretending that a massive computer-animated wolf was nearby, Lautner volunteered to be its stand-in.

“Basically, it looked like a Teletubby,” he continues about his outfit. “I had this circle on the face but everything else was covered. It was weird. But, yeah, I stood there and would literally bend over …”

“I would actually pet his head,” Stewart adds.

Next subject. The three are actively trying to ward off post-Twilight typecasting by doing solo projects in between. Stewart and Pattinson, both bookworms and drawn to art-house fare, earned OK reviews but underwhelming ticket sales for their two recent releases, the girl-band bio The Runaways and the romantic melodrama Remember Me.

But they continue to be in demand for more mature roles. Stewart is psyched to be a part of a big-screen version of Jack Kerouac‘s On the Road, which starts shooting in August. Pattinson recently wrapped his work on the London set of Bel Ami as a 19th-century social-climbing rogue opposite Kristin Scott Thomas, Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci. Does he bed all three?

“Yes, but they’re not like typical love scenes at all,” he says.

Adds Stewart: “They’re all a little weird. A little edgy. And a little nude.” Chuckling ensues.

Meanwhile, Lautner — a natural athlete who played a high school track star in the box-office-topping ensemble comedy Valentine’s Day— seems to be angling to become the next big action hero with upcoming roles in the thriller Abduction and Stretch Armstrong, a 3-D adventure based on a toybox muscleman.

Did he ever own one of the dolls, whose limbs could be pulled and elongated like taffy? “I don’t remember having one at my house, but I totally remember stretching that sucker.”

Then there is the next Twilight feature, Breaking Dawn, opening Nov. 18 next year. The fourth and presumably final book is so jammed with life-altering events — a wedding, first-time sex between Bella and Edward, a grotesquely painful birth — that there has been talk of doing two films back to back. And it might even be in 3-D. But the actors can confirm only their involvement.

Here are a couple of feedback of those who thought of how we’re going to get nominated for the ‘New Moon’!

Kristen Stewart Scores Two Best Kiss Nods for MTV Movie Awards

KStew is not only nominated for her steamy kiss with Robert Pattinson in “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” but she could also win for her girly lip-lock with Dakota Fanning in “The Runaways.” Stewart has been quite the busy girl this year!

When MTV News caught up with the star last year, we asked which big-screen co-star was the better kisser: RPattz’s Edward Cullen or Fanning’s Cherie Currie. “Cherie, yeah,” Stewart laughed.

Nikki Reed Calls ‘New Moon’ MTV Movie Awards Nods ‘Wonderful’

“I mean, it’s wonderful — [especially] when you make a movie and you have absolutely zero expectations,” she told MTV News at the Young Hollywood Awards on Thursday night. Reed added that the cast had no idea that the “Twilight” phenomenon would resonate so strongly and passionately with their fans.

“When we made ‘Twilight,’ none of us knew what it was going to become. There’s inevitably a certain amount of pressure going back,” she continued. “You want to make sure the second one is just as good, so I guess we’re all really happy and relieved. All the actors love the books and the movies just as much as the fans.”

Go ahead and start voting for the Best Movie just like last year at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards!

Eclipse News

News Just In! In the USA, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is rated PG-13 by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America). Thanks BoxOffice Mojo!

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse received a PG-13 rating for “intense sequences of action and violence, and some sensuality.” Both Twilight and New Moon were PG-13 as well, but for slightly different, and somewhat telling, reasons: Twilight garnered its rating due to “some violence and a scene of sensuality,” while New Moon earned it for “some violence and action.”

Confirming what the most recent trailer suggested, Eclipse‘s rating indicates that the action quotient has been ramped up compared to the first two movies. It appears that Eclipse‘s marketing will try to build on this in order to attract action-seeking males who have been unmoved by Edward and Bella’s love story up to this point. At the very least, more action may serve to make the movie more tolerable for the males that are dragged to see Eclipse.

Guess who’s gonna be on the cover of Elle (US) in June!

On the madness that has become her life: “It’s insane! Once somebody finds out, you have to get the hell out of wherever you are. People freak out. And the photographers, they’re vicious. They’re mean. They’re like thugs. I don’t event want to drive around by myself anymore. It’s fucking dangerous.”

On her loss of privacy: “Somebody knocked on my hotel room door and asked for a light, then said that they were a big fan. I was like, ‘Do you really need me to light your cigarette? How do you know what room I’m in?’ I can’t be by myself and I like being by myself.”

On criticism of her public manner: “I think it’s funny that when I go onstage to accept an award, they think I’m nervous, uncomfortable, and awkward—and I am—but those are bad words for them.”

On her red-carpet demeanor: “People say that I’m miserable all the time. It’s not that I’m miserable, it’s just that somebody’s yelling at me…I literally, sometimes, have to keep myself from crying…It’s a physical reaction to the energy that’s thrown at you.”

On caring: “I hate it when they say I don’t give a shit, because nobody cares more than I do. I’m telling you I don’t know anybody who does this that gives a shit more than I do.”

On Team Edward vs. Team Jacob: “I would never cheapen my relationships by talking about them. People say, ‘Just say who you’re dating. Then people will stop being so ravenous about it.’ It’s like, No they won’t! They’ll ask for specifics.”

Catch Kristen Stewart on Star Movies!

Thank to one of our Twilighters, Mel, for the heads up! Star Movies (Starhub Cable Channel 58) will be showing Adventureland as part of their “Indie Spirit” segment this coming Tuesday, 27 April at 9pm!

Set in 1987, a local, self-professedly fun, Pennsylvania amusement park, Adventureland appears to be the bane of recent college graduate James Brennan’s (Eisenberg) existence. Yet Adventureland isn’t quite what it seems on the surface. For behind the cloying cotton candy aroma, the grating disco songs, and the near-pathological customers, there’s a whole other world of misfit friends, hidden dreams and most incredibly, after-work encounters with the alluring yet angst-ridden arcade girl, Em Lewin (Stewart). And when James discovers the hard-won courage to go to battle for Em, the result is a savagely funny yet sweetly heart-felt and unexpected encounter with real adult life.

Larry Carroll from MTV Mivies Blog has an interesting article where he sums up all of Rob’s rumours lately!

Rob’s Nirvana? The Sun is a British tabloid that seems to specialize in stories about how Megan Fox is going to play Catwoman. Their latest “scoop,” however, was a real doozy — Rob was in regular contact with Courtney Love and had landed the role of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in a biopic. The rumor got a bit of traction, particularly because of RPattz’s well-documented love of music, but ultimately the Sun story was dismissed by Love’s reps, leaving the tabloid to offer all apologies.

Check out the rest of the rumors put to rest: Robert Pattinson’s Kurt Cobain Casting And Other Classic, Untrue RPattz RumorsWell said, Larry! :D

Collider had a video interview with Kristen and Dakota on doing their Runaways movie.

During the interview Stewart and Fanning answered questions I got via Twitter (thanks to everyone who tweeted me questions) and if you watch time index 2:50 or so, you can hear what sounds like the wall falling and see their reactions.  It’s actually a very relaxed and fun interview.  Check it out after the jump:

JSYK asks Kristen how it wouls be like working alongside her mom for the movie K-11.

“If she called me right now and said, ‘We’re making the movie,’ I would be really excited. I guess my question is, ‘How would it be to work with a parent?’ We’re really close and then, at the same time, we’re creatively very different. But, I think it would be cool if it happens.”

Hollywoodlife! has an EXCLUSIVE! Nikki Reed Backs Out of ‘K-11′ Movie with Kristen Stewart!

This is a shocker to me, really. I was looking forward to seeing Nikki and Kristen being in a prison movie. ;)

The Hollywood Reporter shows that Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz has booked more movies, ‘Butter’ and ‘Love, Wedding, Marriage’ , repectively. And they’re both comedy films!

“Butter” follows a number of competitive characters in a small Midwestern town as they become entwined in an annual butter-carving contest. Greene will play a rebellious high school teenager named Kaitlen Pickler. (Do I smell a sequel built around anaerobic fermentation?)

‘Love, Wedding, Marriage’ – The story centers on a newlywed marriage counselor (Moore) who is thrown for a loop when she learns that her parents, whose marriage she’s always idealized, are headed for divorce. She sets out on a disastrous path to save their marriage at the expense of her own, manipulating loved ones to achieve her objectives. Lutz will play her husband; Brolin and Seymour will play the parents. – The Hollywood Reporter

Now we’ve got more movies to look forward to from our favourite Cullen siblings! :D

I’m not a big fan of horror movies, but this is just too exciting!

In Local Cinemas: ‘The Runaways’, 6th May 2010!

Twilight Singapore is pleased to inform you that The Runaways will be playing in our local cinemas soon from 6th May onwards! However, please note that this film has not been rated yet for Singapore’s release. We will update soon regarding the film rating :P

Here’s the details on ‘The Runaways‘:

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning star in this music-fueled story of the ground-breaking, all girl, teenage rock band of the 1970s: The Runaways. The film follows two friends, Joan Jett and Cherie Curie, as they rise from rebellious Southern California kids to rock stars of the now legendary group that paved the way for future generations of girl bands. Joan and Cherie fall under the Svengali-like influence of rock impresario Kim Fowley, played by Michael Shannon, who turns the group into an outrageous success and a family of misfits. With its tough-chick image and raw talent, the band quickly earns a name for itself – and so do its two leads: Joan is the band’ s pure rock’ n’ roll heart, while Cherie, with her Bowie-Bardot looks, is the sex kitten. Written and directed by Floria Sigismondi, the film chronicles Joan and Cherie’s tumultuous relationship on and off stage, as the band starts to break out.

Head over to Shaw cinemas from 6th May onwards to watch Kristen Stewart (Joan Jett) and Dakota Fanning (Cherie Currie) in this biopic film, ‘The Runaways’!

Remember to check out Shaw Online for the film screening schedule!

Here’s a video interview of Kristen at her ‘Runaways’ premiere.

Kristen even compares about how much her hair that she chopped off for ‘The Runaways’ has made a difference for her. Kristen Stewart Talks About her ‘Eclipse’ Wig

MTV Movies Blog are wondering if ‘TheRunaways’ director, Floria Sigismondi, would like to try to direct ‘Breaking Dawn’. This would be interesting…

“Well, I’m just actually starting to read it — it’s a little bit darker, so I think it’d be interesting,” she told MTV News. “It’s really interesting, yeah, maybe a little edgier. Like I said, I just started reading, so I don’t know actually where it goes, but it does seem to take on a different imagery and a different level.”

While at the premiere, Kristen gave MTV a heads up that she still hopes to make her mom’s indie movie, ‘K-11′.

Money seems to be the biggest problem right now. Even with Kristen involved — arguably one of the bigger stars out there right now — “K-11″ is just not coming together. It’s admittedly a tough sell. Stewart and Reed may be hot commodities in Hollywood, but with the former playing an autistic male-to-female transsexual and the latter playing a tattoo-covered, meth-addicted transgender, the sexy appeal of ladies in prison is somewhat diminished, to say the least.

Eclipse News and…

Fear.net has managed to asked Ashley Greene about Alice Cullen’s role in Eclipse! Exclusive: Ashley Greene on ‘Twilight: Eclipse’ and Bullying Taylor Lautner

You got to tear off a vampire’s head in Twilight and face off with the Volturi in New Moon. What can you tell us about the things you get to do in Eclipse, which we know from the book will have more of a fighting element?

The thing I’ll say about Twilight is, one, it’s given me this Hollywood crash course and I’ve been able to work with three great directors. And also, my character is an incredible character to break out with because she’s perky and happy and sweet, and she’s this best friend character that everybody loves, so it’s an amazing first character to have. Throughout the series you’ve gotten to see her go from really sweet to kind of sassy, and now in the third one we get to showcase this massive fight sequence that I’m a part of, so we got to get our action star fix. You get to see Alice get kind of down and dirty and see a really intense side of her that maybe you haven’t seen before.

They also did an interview with Daniel Cudmore who plays Felix in New Moon. Exclusive: Daniel Cudmore on ‘New Moon,’ ‘Eclipse,’ and Fighting Rob Pattinson

In the books Felix seemed to have a sort of minor flirtation with Bella – winking at her, etc. What’s your take on that?
I think it’s more of him showing his power over her and kind of messing around with her head. Letting her know that he could end things very quickly. He enjoys that.

Sadly, we don’t see much of the Volturi in New Moon because it serves as more of an introduction to their coven than in later books, when the Volturi have more of a presence. How much can we expect to see of you in Eclipse?

It’s not as much. You get to Eclipse and you’re introducing Riley’s storyline, Victoria coming back to get her vengeance. We’re still there and we still have a strong presence, and it’s not more dramatic but it’s still a really cool storyline.

Here an EXCLUSIVE: Kristen Stewart & Dakota Fanning on ‘Breaking Dawn’

FEARnet posed a similar question to Fanning, who plays the lead Volturi enforcer, Jane: Are you ready to portray a baby hunter? But Fanning, ever the professional, could not yet confirm her involvement in Breaking Dawn. “I don’t know if I’m going to be in it,” she demurred. Stewart turned to her. “You’re gonna be in the movie.”

While at ‘The Runaways’ premiere in NYC, Kristen talk more about her involvement in Breaking Dawm! Check it out here at Pop Sugar!

The Seattle Times has a Q&A Mellisa Rosenberg, the screen writer for Twilight, New Moon and the upcoming Eclipse!

Q: How closely did you work with Meyer?

A: With each movie, we’ve gotten closer. … On the first movie, I kept my process private. But then as I got to know her, I realized that was completely unnecessary, because she is incredibly collaborative, fluid and not precious about her work … With “New Moon,” she read all the drafts, but with “Eclipse,” I asked her to read the outline, which was very unusual. It’s very risky. It’s very early. That’s where I do a great deal of my work. … That’s when you’re structuring the story and deciding what’s in, what’s out, what’s invented, all that.

Anna Kendrick was asked about her role in ‘Up in the Air’ and how was it like working with George Clooney. Anna Kendrick: Filming ‘New Moon’ Was ‘Nerve-Wracking’

Giving Clooney as good as she got.
“Sometimes, George gave me a really hard time. He was always kidding around about me being inNew Moon because I was shooting that at the same time. I decided that entitled me to give George a hard time right back. I think I made fun of him a lot more than I ever realized I would. Like he’d call me short and I’d call him old. If you’d told me before I did the film that I would be making fun of George Clooney that way I wouldn’t have believed you.”

Ashley Greene tells Hollywood Crush that her New Movie ‘Skateland’ Is About ‘Figuring Out Who You Are’

“It’s set in Texas in the 1980s and it’s basically a coming-of-age story of Ritchie Wheeler, who Shiloh Fernandez plays, but also my character, Michelle Burkham, and my brother Brent [played by Heath Freeman],” she explained. “There’s a place called Skateland that closes and it’s something that we all go to and we all kind of relate to and see ourselves around and we’re used to having this and it’s kind of ripped away and so it kind of jumpstarts us realizing that there’s a lot of things we have to figure out.”

Ashley Greene was recently interview at her new movie premiere of ‘Skateland’.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were on ‘The Late Night Jimmy Fallon Show’ to promote their biopic movie, The Runaways.

Parade.com interviewed Kristen on her role as the iconic Joan Jett on ‘The Runaways’ and what she thought about Rob on his new movie, Remember Me. Kristen Stewart: Robert Pattinson is ‘Bold and Different’

Filling the shoes of a rock icon.
“I think my generation doesn’t really know what The Runaways was. I didn’t, even though I was aware of Joan Jett. She’s a legend, so it was a big deal not only to meet her, but to have her on the set. The main thing that Joan talked about was just how much she cared about that period of her life because it jump-started her entire career. The Runaways was one of the first all-girl bands, so it’s an incredibly triumphant, feminist story. Joan became my friend and I was thinking about all she stood for and going, ‘Oh God, now I have to do her justice.’”

Parade.com also interviewed Dakota on her new image as Cherie Curie in ‘The Runaways’. Dakota Fanning: I’m Ready to Have People See Me In a Different Way’

Taking on a real-life role.
“I’ve never played an actual person before, so it was really wonderful to have Cherie Currie there on the set every day. And I just wanted to do her justice. I hoped that I could be half as good as she was and live up to what we love about The Runaways.”

MTV Movies Blog asked Kristen Stewart about her kissing scenes with Dakota on ‘The Runaways’ and asked her was it better than kissing Edward Cullen. LOL!

Stewart talked to us a few months ago about the kissing scene and went into a bit more detail, saying that sharing an onscreen kiss with Fanning didn’t really faze her all that much. “It was never a big deal to me either … especially the way it was written into the story and the way it wasn’t, ‘And they finally get together,’ ” she explained about the kiss, which in the film acted as an extension of their friendship and their “bond” as bandmates.

Kristen talks more about playing Joan Jett while doing her Vanity Fair photo shoot.

MTV Hollywood Crush has an exclusive Clip of ‘The Runaways’ as Kristen Stewart plays on the guitar

Parade.com has a two-part interview with Robert on his new movie, Remember Me.

Part 1 – Robert Pattinson: ‘I Didn’t Like the Way ‘New Moon’ Was Treated By Critics’

The reality of becoming an overnight success.
“I think you really cause yourself a lot of problems if you start fighting against it. There’s nothing you can do. I mean, there’s no mysticism to it. People recognize you and they want to talk to you, or want to see you. My trick is not to see them as a crowd. If you break down every crowd into individuals, then it’s more manageable. It’s just when you start seeing these huge masses of people screaming at you that you start going crazy. So I try to focus on a few faces and not the mass.”

Part 2 – Robert Pattinson: ‘I Don’t Remember the Last Time I Asked Someone on a Date’

Ditto with unleashing his macho side.
“I related to Tyler in that I wish I could have done things like he did when I had the opportunity. There is something quite satisfying about being a little bit more reckless and even fighting. It’s quite cathartic to just sort of randomly start hitting someone. It was fun kind of, letting all your rage go on the set. We had this big scene where I punch out some guys. It went fine and nobody was really hurt at all. But, at the end, I was like doing this thing where I was hitting myself in the arm, sort of pumping myself up. They cut it out of the movie, but I punched myself so hard that I was in a lot of pain for the rest of the shoot. It was the most stupid thing I’ve ever done.”

New Moon News

Access Hollywood has a new Behind-the-scene of Kristen Stewart doing the cliff diving scene!

Parade.com has Kristen Stewart: ‘I Know What It’s Like to Get Broken Up With’

Her toughest scene.
“It’s when Edward tells Bella it’s all over and they’re never going to see each other again. There’s nothing like it in reality. It’s not even like a normal breakup scene because I know what it’s like to get broken up with. I don’t know what it’s like to get broken up with by a vampire. It’s like suddenly whatever has addicted an addict is taken away from them and they go through total withdrawal. That’s what Bella was going through. To portray that was really intimidating.”

And here’s another behind the scene of Taylor Lautner trying out his dirt bike.

Parade.com has Taylor Lautner: ‘I’m Having the Time of My Life’

The big makeover.
“I had my eyes on the prize. My trainer was like a sculptor. He was going, ‘I want this bicep to peak more.’ He was very detail-oriented. The hardest thing was the diet I was on, while getting in the gym and pumping up was easy. I had to consume at least 3200 calories a day just to maintain my weight. Putting something in your mouth every two hours is difficult. I was going from meeting to meeting, so there was no time for eating. I literally would have to carry a little baggy full of beef patties, raw almonds, and sweet potatoes. I mean, it wasn’t like eating ice cream and cake every two hours.”

Lastly, Mirror.co.uk has a Never-Seen-Before Robert Pattinson scene from The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD!

Parade.com also has on Robert Pattinson: ‘Love Can Be More Lethal Than a Vampire Bite’

The scene where he almost took it all off.
“I felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square, ripping my clothes off. I was essentially doing a striptease. But here’s the irony, it was also one of the moments where I’ve really felt closest to people’s emotional attachment to Edward. There were so many extras in that scene who were Twilight fans who had flown in just to be a part of it. It was a moment where I’ve felt the whole weight of anticipation, and I guess responsibility as well, of being Edward, for all the people who were kind of so obsessed with the stories. It was quite uplifting and it was also very nerve-wracking.”

CNN  has managed to attain a very interesting interview with director, Chris Weitz. ‘New Moon’ director gets away from frenzy

CNN: In the DVD commentary, you said you let the opening shot of the moon go on and on because you figured there would be 30 seconds of screaming when the titles came up. Was that true?

Weitz: The first time I saw it, there was quite a lot of screaming, just because of the buildup and anticipation were so great. People had been waiting so long to see it that it was good that they had a bit of time to calm down before you first saw Bella.

Eclipse News and MORE…

MTV Hollywood Crush had a talk we the costume designer, Tish Monaghan, of ‘Eclipse’ where she reveals more about the ‘Eclipse’ Trailer: Engagement Ring Confirmed and More EXCLUSIVE Costume Details!

IS THAT AN ENGAGEMENT RING?

YES! “This is an engagement ring on Bella’s finger!” Tish confirmed. “This is something that was made for her by the props department.” In other words: she doesn’t have a whole lotta info to share on it. So, until we are able to investigate further, we should point out that the ring (at least what we can see of it from our extreme zoom-in) looks like he could be quite similar to the domed oval one authorized by author Stephenie Meyer after the “Eclipse” book came out, which is for sale by Infinite Jewelry Co. Check out a 2009 article from the Salt Lake Tribune for more information on the story behind that ring.

Entertainment Weekly has an Exclusive: Summit looking at Academy Award-nominated directors for ‘Breaking Dawn’.

Yes, it’s still early days, but Summit is trying to up its pedigree for its big-screen adaptation of the final installment of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. Sources tell EW that the studio has reached out to at least three top-notch directors, including Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation), Gus Van Sant (Milk), and Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) to gauge their interest in what is likely to be two movies. (Van Sant’s reps confirmed that he’s been approached, but Coppola and Condon’s people didn’t return phone calls by press time. Summit declined to comment.)

MTV Movies Blog has recently interviewed Kristen where she revealed about possible directors that would be directing, Breaking Dawn.

Now MTV News has received exclusive confirmation about the development from Kristen Stewart herself. “I’m glad that’s out and about,” she said about the outreach to the directors. “I didn’t know that was something that people knew.”

With all these director-talk, which director do you guys think should have the honor of directing ‘Breaking Dawn’?

Eclipse News

Kristen Stewart Reacts to Eclipse Teaser Trailer:

When I asked if either of them got to see the trailer, Stewart and Fanning turned to one another for reactions. “Did you watch it?” Stewart asked Fanning.

“No, I didn’t,” Fanning replied. “I watched it,” Stewart said with enthusiasm. When I prodded her for specific feelings, she said, “Well, it’s really fast, isn’t it? It’s sort of like a couple of pictures strung together. But it looks good – it looks good! I think (Taylor Lautner) looks really great. Like, he looks very strong and I love his voice in it,” she said. “He’s good in it.”

Top Things Yet To Be Seen in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Twilight Examiner:

Yes, you probably have seen the Eclipse teaser trailer for [insert the no. here] times! Twilight Examiner listed down a the  pivotal aspects of Eclipse. For example….

The Ring

As Twilight Lexicon points out in their Eclipse trailer analysis, the meadow scene in the trailer shows a brief flash of Bella’s engagement ring. The ring, which becomes almost a character of its own in the story, has a story and a history that is indicative of Edward’s past. It belonged to his mother, and it is described as follows: “Nestled into the black satin, Elizabeth Masen’s ring sparkled in the dim light. The face was a long oval, set with slanting rows of glittering round stones. The band was gold — delicate and narrow. The gold made a fragile web around the diamonds.” Now, many have tried to replicate the design of the ring by this description. For instance, here is a vendor that has offered one version of the ring, and here is another. They are quite different. Needless to say, Stephenie Meyer is protective of her baby (the baby being her beautiful stories of course), so chances are she had a say in this important matter. Should be interesting to see the jewelry they’ve chosen for this moment.
