The Vancouver Sun has an interview with Jordelle Ferland who will play a ‘newly turned vampire’ that still remains nameless (whom we think might be Bree 
) in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Ferland has been working in film and television since she was two years old, starring in her first film at the age of four (Mermaid) and playing the lead in a successful suspense thriller (Silent Hill).
She has worked with Rene Zellweger, appeared on Late Night With Conan O’Brien and just-wrapped The Cabin in the Woods written by Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Drew Goddard (Lost), but nothing of the magnitude of the Twilight saga.
“I’m so excited,” giggled Ferland. “It’s not that I didn’t think I would get the role, it’s just that things like this never happen. I’m still having a hard time believing it.”
Eclipse will be Ferland’s second time working with Twilight star Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, the mortal teen who falls for vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson.
Larry Carroll of MTV asked The Twilight cast members while attending the Teen Choice Awards about what they were up to in Vancouver this time with director David Slade for The Twilight Saga : Eclipse.
“Oh, it’s exciting, man,” Jackson Rathbone told us about recent meetings the actors have had with David Slade, the bloodthirsty “30 Days of Night” director who will oversee them for the soon-to-shoot third film in the series. “We’ve all met with him. We’ve all been up to Vancouver doing training and getting ready for all the action.”
But since Rathbone plays Civil War soldier-turned-vampire Jasper Hale — and confirmed to us that Jasper’s 1863 transformation will be included in “Eclipse” as a flashback — the charismatic star has been blessed with one bit of training that the other Cullens don’t get to partake in.
“Horseback training,” Kellan Lutz sighed. “I’m jealous.”
” ‘Eclipse’ is big on fighting, so Jasper trains all of us,” Lutz said of a key sequence in the book that has Rathbone’s war veteran teaching the werewolves and vampires fighting techniques in order to defend themselves against newborn vampires. “All of us characters are actually going through fight training, stunt training. We’re all hitting the gym pretty hard so we can have the endurance.”

Larry Carroll also spoke to Ashley Greene at the TCA 2009 and here’s what she has to say about the work they did in Italy during the filming of The Twilight Saga : New Moon
“We were in Italy for those four or five days, and it was nutty,” Greene remembered of the shoot, which director Chris Weitz has said had a Twilighter in virtually every spot that wasn’t on camera, watching them film. “The amount of people that were in this tiny little town, it took 45 minutes to go, like, 5 feet.”
The scene, which features a black-clad Bella running through a procession of red-robed people to stop Edward from stepping into the sunlight, effectively uses slow-motion and music to build drama for a pivotal moment in the epic saga. And much like the fans, Greene said she couldn’t believe how beautifully the sequence came together…..
“…. it was a great experience, amazing energy,” she remembered of the shoot, as well as the multiple takes it took to pull it off. “And Kristen that day — the poor girl just ran and ran and ran and ran.”

AB: What was your favorite part of Eclipse?
PF: I actually like that, in the book, a lot of the family members are talked about, and in the movie they’re in it a lot more. The books are all told from Bella’s perspective, so a lot of times, when she’s not in the scene and things are happening, you don’t actually get to see them, like the battle scene, for instance. In Eclipse when the whole family and the werewolves are fighting the newborn vampires, it’s talked about and through Edward you kind of get something, but in the movie you actually get to see it, you know, so I like that in the interpretations of the movies, it’s not always about Bella’s perspective. She isn’t always in the scene, and so that opens up the story a little bit. The Cullens are in it a lot more throughout.

The London Free Press did an interview with Rachelle Lefevre sometime last month and only published it recently. Among others she answered questions about her role as the vengeful vampire Victoria; Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and rumours of the Kristen & Rob ‘romance’.
Rob & Kristen -
“They have fantastic chemistry together on-screen and you know that’s the kind of thing that becomes the source of rumours,” Lefevre says.
Working with Different Directors -
“It could have been bad,” Lefevre admits. “But I think because Harry Potter went through it first to their benefit, we were like, ‘The Potter kids went through a director shift and they were OK, so we’ll be OK, too.’
“And we were. Chris came in with such a clear idea of what the movie was. And he paid respect to what had come before — so it was kind of seamless.”
A third transition will happen later this year in Vancouver when another director, David Slade (30 Days of Night), takes the reins of the next sequel Eclipse.
“It’s perfect timing for David because Eclipse is darker than the other two. There’s more action. It’s not a horror movie, but it is darker.”
As we all know Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene are starring in a movie together called Warrior. Film photographer Peter Arpaia has great movie stills in his website. Wow! Both of them look soo good! Can’t wait to check this movie out!

How did you prepare to play Emmett in New Moon?
I prepared a lot by delving into the back-story for my character, Emmett, that I created while shooting the first movie so I just picked up that same notebook again for New Moon and added a little more to what I thought embodied this character. I find it easy to get in the role; Emmett is the perfect match for me. I do love creating a back-story for characters; it helps you transform into the role and it makes it yours.

A. I think we get an opportunity to sort of expand our scope — from the confines of the forest to Italy. And there are a lot of secrets that were set up in the first book and the first movie that come to light in the second movie. So there are a lot of surprises in store.

MTV reports that Justin Guarini is still hoping to be in the New Moon Soundtrack:
Believe it or not, Guarini insists that he’s not just trying to bank on the success of the franchise. He says it’s because he’s a big “Twilight” fan. “I’m a fan of the books,” Guarini told MTV News. “At the time I went in to write this song, the two other writers were talking about the books, and we got into a conversation about it. As we were writing it, we thought, there’s a new movie coming out, and so why not give it a shot? And so, we sent it in.”

I am not being sued. No one has contacted me or my publisher to inform either of us that I’m being sued. I never had a roommate named Heidi. There is no professor in the BYU English department named Dr. Peter Benton (though there is a character on ER by that name). And most of all, I began writing Twilight exactly the way I’ve told people in countless interviews and events for the past six years: I had a cool dream, I wrote it down, writing it down was really fun, so I kept writing until I had a whole book.

Um, behind the scenes stories… the most fun one that comes to mind is when we had like really good weather, which is not good for us because we’re vampires and we need to have the bad stormy clouds, you know – cloud coverage and we had no clouds for a couple of hours but we needed to do this outside shot, so Catherine had all the extras do a cloud dance! She fed them M&Ms to get them in the mood and gave them Redbulls and it was just really cool to have a director who, who’s very hands on and would get in there and get dirty.

ASHLEY Greene admits she is living a fairytale, even if, at times, she struggles with her new lifestyle.
The 22-year-old Californian has gone from a handful of bit parts to playing a lead character in the film version of Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling Twilight books.
The irony is Greene never wished to be an actor. Her dreams lay on the catwalk, but at 165cm she was quickly told she was too short to model and advised to take up acting.
Her tiny stature, however, made her perfect for the role of diminutive Alice Cullen, the sweet, psychic sister of the film’s protagonist, heart-throb Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a 104-year-old “good” vampire in a 17-year-old’s body.

With Rachelle: Day one was spent hanging out at one of the hotels that the stars are known to be staying at, not two minutes after we arrive at the hotel I see this shock of red hair. An lo and behold it’s Rachelle Lefevre! I couldn’t believe it, I had a mental block on her name and all I could say to Jamie was red hair… red hair… So we wander over and join the autograph seekers and I have her sign my book and she signed Jamie’s twilight poster. She was very gracious, and beautiful her hair is so remarkable such a vibrant red.
With Kellan: As he was jogging by we got his attention and asked if he wouldn’t mind signing an autograph for us. He consented but wanted us to move closer to the hotel entrance to do it. He’s still jogging, so we start jogging so we don’t make him wait for us. Now you must realize that I’m in 3″ heels and definitely not a jogger myself. He starts kidding around with us and running in circles around us and says that if we want an autograph we gotta catch him, I have no hope in hell in catching him and I’m worried that I’m going to trip in the shoes I’m wearing. So I retort “I’m in heels, you don’t want me pulling a Bella and falling on my face trying to catch you” . He stopped and said “No I don’t want that, I would feel really bad if you hurt yourself”. He gave me a personalized signature in my book and took pictures with us… I took the picture of him and Jamie and I wasn’t expecting a picture with him. But he opened up his arms says “Now my Bella”, and I took it as he wanted a hug. So I swoop in and give him a huge hug…. What a bod he has on him!
With Jackson: We settled in to wait for 100 monkeys … They were suppose to play at seven pm and ended up playing closer to eight thirty but it was well worth the wait. The band is great! Jackson… Is soooo hot! OMG he has that same shy boy smile as Rob and his Texas accent…..

Summit Entertainment has made an official statement about The Twilight Saga : New Moon
Los Angeles, CA April 15, 2009 — Principal photography has begun on Summit Entertainment’s THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, it was announced today by Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Production. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. Academy Award-nominee Chris Weitz (THE GOLDEN COMPASS, ABOUT A BOY) is the director. NEW MOON is filming on locations in Vancouver, BC and Tuscany, Italy.

Emmett’s a big goof-ball and Alice is just so sweet and cute. What she can do is awesome. It would be really cool to have her as a best friend. And yeah, our characters just both totally love life and I would totally hang out with them.
K: I think you’re my best friend! I love my character. I got so lucky with Emmett. It’s great to act as a character who loves life as much as I do, and life is just so short, why not have fun every second that you can? That’s what I try to bring to the role of Emmet, he’s just a big teddy bear that I love to play. I’d love to have a best friend like him.
