[EDIT May 31] The link has gone kaputt at this time so here’s a youtube version of the song instead.
The OST has also been reviewed by Entertainment Weekly just recently. The OST scored a B+! Satisfied with the rating? Too early to judge as I still don’t have the copy in my hands. Grrr!
In other news, here’s the cover art for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse: The Score! The cover art features Edward/Bella/Jacob + Riley & the Newborns.

What are you expecting from Howard Shore? Theme song for newborns, etc? We’re still lacking the tracklist for the score, so stay tuned!

NME (a UK based Music Magazine) has a great article about the Eclipse Original Movie Soundtrack : ‘Twilight’ Soundtrack compilers reveal how they pick bands.
Music supervisors Paul Katz and Alexandra Patsavas have claimed that choosing songs from big artists, plus smaller acts such as Fanfarlo and Bombay Bicycle Club, doesn’t stem from an attempt to cash in on bands’ cool factors.
“We have forward-thinking directors and they have a progressive music taste,” Patsavas said. “It’s completely natural.”
Patsavas said an important factor was the tone of each scene. “This is the battle movie,” she said of Eclipse. “So there should be some conflict in the music, so we have a band like The Dead Weather there.”
