Melissa Rosenberg spoke to Marc Malkin of E! Online about Eclipse.
“David has a darker sensibility, so it clicks,” Rosenberg said. “The story has a slightly darker tone. I mean, it goes into a full-out battle, so it is darker in the nature of what it is. David was the perfect director for it.”

Summit and Creation Entertainment’s Official Twilight Convention started on Friday and here are some write-up from MTV regarding the event. First is the general info about the convention – ‘Twilight’ Convention Comes To New Jersey:
Fans dressing up as their favourite characters.
In between star panels and photo and autograph opportunities, fans have a veritable “Twilight” mall to peruse, with table upon table brimming with vampire- and werewolf-themed merch. Handmade bath products, jewelry, 8×10 star glossies and enough “Twilight” tees to fill a dozen closets are among the many, many items up for grabs. Other entertainment opportunities throughout the weekend include rounds of “Twilight” trivia, panels with “Twilight Lexicon” and “Twilight Mom” bloggers, a meet-and-greet with “Twilight” cover hand model Kimbra Hickey, a charity auction and a Saturday night vampire ball, where guests are encouraged to dress like their favorite character.

“I decided, all right, the Wolf Pack stay up all night looking for who’s killing people on the res, so we don’t sleep very much. So I thought it would be a great idea if I stayed up for 10 days straight.” What should have been a simple scene — a confrontation between Bella (Stewart) and the Wolf Pack — became, in Meraz’s mind, his “Brando moment.” Wanting to try something different, the actor played the scene overly aggressive: screaming, grabbing Stewart by the throat, hurtling his line at her.
[Director] Chris Weitz comes off-set like, “Yeah, I like the energy Alex, but just take it down a little, ” Spencer chimed in: “Meanwhile the producers are freaking out back there.”
“Cause nobody touches Kristen Stewart”, joked Meraz.
Lastly, let’s not forget Gil Birmingham as he talks about his responsibility in representing a wheelchair bound person in film. He also mentioned the camaraderie formed between the Wolfpack

Remember Twilight in Comic-Con 2008? Well now it is definitely confirmed that The Twilight Saga: New Moon will be in this year’s Comic Con as announced by Summit!
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON – The highly anticipated sequel to last year’s box-office smash TWILIGHT is the subject of a question-and-answer session featuring surprise members of the cast. In anticipation of being one of the convention’s most talked-about events, the panel will also thrill the crowd with a first look at never-before-seen footage from the film. With THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) and Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) return in a captivating new chapter of the action epic that has enthralled audiences around the world.

Sorry, Twilighters, but you’re outta luck. New Moon costume designer Tish Monaghan custom-made Bella’s one-of-a-kind dress: ”It was supposed to be a gift from Alice, so I wanted something pretty that Alice would buy, but also something vintage [looking] that would be appropriate for Bella. We dressed it down with sneakers to keep the Bella flavor.” – Source.

Gil: Living in different states and going to a long line of different schools taught me how to adapt to change and different people and circumstances. I believe that the people who succeed in life are those who can adapt to changing surroundings and create goodness amidst the chaos that we sometimes encounter in the world

How did you prepare to play Emmett in New Moon?
I prepared a lot by delving into the back-story for my character, Emmett, that I created while shooting the first movie so I just picked up that same notebook again for New Moon and added a little more to what I thought embodied this character. I find it easy to get in the role; Emmett is the perfect match for me. I do love creating a back-story for characters; it helps you transform into the role and it makes it yours.

From MTV Movies Blog, Catherine was interviewed on the red carpet of Hollywood Life’s Young Hollywood Awards. Catherine Hardwicke Hopes To Reunite With ‘Twilight’ Stars.
“Some of the projects I’m doing, they would be in a completely different world — actually, sometimes even in a different time period,” Hardwicke said of the two films, which could return Stewart and Pattinson to the young-adult-fantasy realm that made them famous. “That would be fun. I’d love to do a number on them and transform them.”

Unlike so many characters that are as fictional as the storylines surrounding them, Native American lore, whether from the Quileute tribe or others, is still being passed down through new generations while still being recorded by anthropologists and historians eager to preserve the various versions of similar stories.

Many of you have been asking about the Eclipse Special Edition and the release date of Breaking Dawn here in Singapore. Firstly, I just visited a major bookstore in Orchard and asked them about the Eclipse Special Edition. I was shocked to hear that it’s all sold out! This means that there is an Eclipse Special Edition! Do keep your eyes peeled!
I’ve also asked about the release date of Breaking Dawn and it’ll be released here in August but no specific date yet.
