Breaking Dawn News – New Twilight Cast Member for Breaking Dawn Part 2
We’ll its official! Benjamin of The Egyptian Coven will be played by Rami Malek. As you guys know he will only appear in the in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 where they are invited to Forks to serve as witnesses for The Cullens who have to explain themselves to The Volturi about Renesmee 
I haven’t had the chance to watch HBO’s highly acclaimed war series ‘The Pacific’ but after checking out Rami Malek – I will have to get the DVD now.
He played a pharaoh in Night at The Museum – was that why they chose him to play Benjamin? Haha I don’t think so. But watching the clips on Youtube – I love the way his eyes look – pretty intense crazy eyes (I Like!). And that southern New Orleans accent as Snafu – *swoon* I can safely say I am excited to see more from this guy. Was excited about Xavier Samuel in pretty much the same way last year – and was not dissapointed!

On the program, Ellen comments that Rob seems more at ease acting than chatting on a talk show, and she says she thinks he might be shy.

“Being spontaneous?” Ellen asks.
“Yeah, being spontaneous or just thinking. I have a problem with thinking… Thinking in real time,” he explains.

Robert Pattinson Wax Figure Revealed at Madame Tussauds!
MTV Hollywood Crush has a couple of pictures of dear old Rob, being made into wax! Robert Pattinson To Be Immortalized In Wax At Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussauds will feature a wax model of the “Twilight” star in both their New York City and London museums for fans to oogle at on either side of the pond. Photos of the mold were released today that show the molding of Robert’s head in progress. The clay head mold represents a crucial step in the up to six month-long figure creation process. According to a press release, a team of studio artists at the museum have been studying hundreds of photos and analyzing hours of video to ensure that they capture R-Pattz’s trademark sultry expression and inimitable style. Is anyone else wondering how they can sign up for that job?

MTV Hollywood Crush has Robert Pattinson’s Wax Figure being greeted by screaming fans at Madame Tussauds NYC!
MTV News was on the scene as the historical moment unfolded, and we can report that Robert’srecently-made immortal figure provoked many screams and yells from the hordes of fans waiting outside Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Times Square bright and early (yup, one got there at 4 a.m.!) When given a chance to stand beside fake Rob, they acted exactly as we’d imagine they would next to real Rob — with laughter, kisses, shrieks and hugs. There were also plenty of hands running through his soft hair.
MTV Movies Blog has the news on Robert Pattinson Wax Figure Unveiled At Madame Tussauds where the fans got a chance to pose and take pictures with!
The figure took four months and $220,000 to create and is now displayed alongside Miley Cyrus, John Travolta, the Osbournes and Woody Allen.
The enthusiastic fans who waited in line for the unveiling (some since 4 a.m., and real Rob wasn’t even actually there) were able to run their fingers through the figure’s trademark mane of hair. Danielle Palermo said she didn’t want to mess up wax Rob’s coif. “I felt kind of bad [touching his hair],” she said. “The first time everyone went to touch him, they completely attacked his hair, and I felt really bad. Maybe I’ll just … I won’t exactly run my fingers through it, or you know, shuffle it around like everyone else did.”

CB - It’s amazing, the things I’ve gotten to do – travel to Australia, go to Twilight conventions around the world, and meet people who’ve been following me and watching my career since I was 6. I’m 17 and I live in a town of 100,000 people and not very many people get to do that. People ask me if I’d turn back because of the hype but I don’t regret anything I’ve done in my life. If I can’t walk down the street, there is a possibility that I would turn into Robert Pattinson, I would regret it. But no one strong armed me into doing this and no one really cares.
Summit Entertainment has released a press release regarding the sales of the New Moon DVD during its first weekend!
Los Angeles, CA March 23, 2010 – Summit Entertainment announced today that the home entertainment release of the studio’s action-packed, modern day vampire love story THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON sold just over 4 million DVD units in its first weekend of release. The tally surpasses the first weekend sales of TWILIGHT in 2009 which sold 3.8 million DVD units, and went on to be the top selling DVD title of the year with 9.2 million units sold. The DVD launch of NEW MOON commenced this past Saturda
y morning with 7,000 retail locations nationwide taking part in events at midnight giving fans their first chance to obtain a DVD of the film.
Thousands of TWILIGHT fans across the nation participated in the “NEW MOON at Midnight” event and some were treated to surprise appearances by members of the cast as well as the film’s director. Summit Entertainment’s Co-Chairmen Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger stated, “Once again the incredibly dedicated fans of the TWILIGHT SAGA came out in massive numbers this weekend for the opportunity to be one of the first take home the second movie in the series. “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” has been selected for the ShoWest/Fandango Fan Choice Award, which will be presented Thursday at ShoWest’s Final Night Banquet and Award Ceremony at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas. The Fan Choice Award was voted on by nearly 50,000 moviegoers, who were asked on Fandango to select their favorite film of 2009.

“It would be so neat if it worked out, I’m a really big fan,” Dakota says about being a part of ‘New Moon.’ “It’s probably too soon to say for sure, but it would be really cool.”
‘Twilight’ stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene tell ET they would really like to work with the young star.
“I hope she does ['New Moon'] she’s a brilliant actress,” Kellan says — Ashley adds: “Hopefully she will be involved in the second one. I think she’s an amazing little actress.”
