Woot! The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that another new cast member will join The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The new guy is Jack Huston who will play Rosalie’s meanie fiance Royce King II.
Another Brit comes into the Twilight fold 
and he has a very famous last name to boot! Jack comes from a great clan that consists of actors and directors. He is the grandson of director John Huston and nephew of actress Angelica Huston.

The VMAs or MTV’S VIDEO MUSIC AWARD is back! And yup Russell Brand is back too as the host. 
Last year when they were still not famous, the Twilight cast made one of their first promos for Twilight at the 2008 VMAs. The Twilight cast went on stage to introduce the rock band Paramore. And an ‘incident’ ensued during that introduction – read here.
Anyways, the lead singer of Paramore is a HUGE fan of The Twilight Saga and it inspired her to write a couple of songs for the movie which WERE BOTH AWESOME!!! THANK YOU HALEY!!

The World Soundtrack Academy has opened the Public Choice Award Voting for anyone, anywhere to vote for their favourite movie soundtrack and guess what? Twilight : The Score by Carter Burwell is one of the 4933 nominees!
Remember the haunting and beautiful melodies of the opening scene of Twilight with the little bambi being hunted in the forest , “How Would I Die?” Or the first time Bella sets her eyes on Edward in cafeteria after asking “Who are they?”.. The music score where Bella thinks about Edward and his golden eyes – “Phascination Phase”, the Meadow scene where they were sure of when “The Lion Fell In Love with the Lamb”, and of course “Bella’s Lullaby”, etc

Did you guys know that the Twilight Soundtrack is classified under TOP ROCK ALBUMS in the Billboard chart? Its been holding at the Top 10 Top Rock Albums for 34 weeks and still doing so well!!
The London Free Press did an interview with Rachelle Lefevre sometime last month and only published it recently. Among others she answered questions about her role as the vengeful vampire Victoria; Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and rumours of the Kristen & Rob ‘romance’.
Rob & Kristen -
“They have fantastic chemistry together on-screen and you know that’s the kind of thing that becomes the source of rumours,” Lefevre says.
Working with Different Directors -
“It could have been bad,” Lefevre admits. “But I think because Harry Potter went through it first to their benefit, we were like, ‘The Potter kids went through a director shift and they were OK, so we’ll be OK, too.’
“And we were. Chris came in with such a clear idea of what the movie was. And he paid respect to what had come before — so it was kind of seamless.”
A third transition will happen later this year in Vancouver when another director, David Slade (30 Days of Night), takes the reins of the next sequel Eclipse.
“It’s perfect timing for David because Eclipse is darker than the other two. There’s more action. It’s not a horror movie, but it is darker.”
As we all know Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene are starring in a movie together called Warrior. Film photographer Peter Arpaia has great movie stills in his website. Wow! Both of them look soo good! Can’t wait to check this movie out!

Melissa Rosenberg is the screenwriter for Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon & Eclipse.
The screenwriter is the heart of a film. He/She gives life to the characters and develops the plot in such a way as to capture the viewer’s interest. At the same time, she has to apply the required technical film-making jargon to describe the visual aspects of the story and effectively depict emotion through action and symbolism.

Peter Facinelli talked to Amanda Bell of The Examiner how excited and busy he is in the next few months!
…..filming this fall is The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, but Peter Facinelli is confident that both can be done harmoniously. Says he, “They’re starting in October some time, and I think we’re starting Eclipse in August, so if everything stays according to plan it’ll be close, but we’ll be able to squeeze both. The good news is that I’m not in every scene in Eclipse and I’m not in every scene in Nurse Jackie, so I’m sure I’ll be able to do both.”
Speaking of Eclipse, I asked Facinelli if there was anything about director David Slade that he looked forward to working with him for. Said he, “I’ve heard he’s very intense, and I heard he’s a great actor’s director, so I’m excited to work with him.”
The changed directorial hands, too, seems to be exciting to Facinelli. Says he, “Whenever I’ve done television (Six Feet Under, or Damages, or Nurse Jackie) we worked with different directors each episode. So, it makes it interesting because they come in and it’s the same material, but you get a different perspective on it. And that’s how it’s been on this one too. Chris Weitz has brought his vision; Catherine Hardwicke had hers. And, now, we get to see what David Slade’s going to bring … It’s exciting.

What will differ about Slade’s Twilight? “I don’t really know. We haven’t even started shooting yet.” While the director says he has a basic idea of what he wants to do with it, he is more concerned with telling a good story than being “different.” “It is darker, and there is a lot more action than the previous two,” he admits. “The third book is from Bella’s point of view, but the film will be more objective.” And just how will he do that? “We are going to focus on the origin stories of several characters, like Jasper, and show how Bella will decide between Edward and Jacob.”
David didn’t read the books until the studio was interested in bringing him in – then he did his homework. “It was tough for a middle-aged man to get into,” he admits, “from the point of view of a 17 year old girl. But once I got past that, I found them to be really good stories.” He is especially excited about the great script from Dexter writer/producer Melissa Rosenberg. Right now, they are still in preproduction, with plans to start shooting later in the year.

RP: Edward and Bella’s reunion in New Moon is good. It’s different from the book so I think people will be happy. This movie will have a very different mood. In visual terms it’s going to be so different from Twilight. It’s also a lot scarier. Chris [Weitz, New Moon director] is very willing to go down that route.
Total Film: So, are they going to tie you up in that harness again for the sequel?
RP: Luckily, I just have to get beaten up in this one!

Here’s an excerpt from the interview:
“How was your life before getting the role of Edward Cullen?
Last year I had a great apartment in Soho where you could go to the roof and watch the great view. I played music and I tried to record it. But then I went to Spain for the movie “Little Ashes” and everything changed. It was the first time that I was researching about something. I haven’t seen the movie yet but either if it’s bad or good, it surely changed the way I feel about acting and made me more obedient about what I can achieve of acting when I see the scripts.
How did you pay for a big apartment in Soho?
It wasn’t big. Actually, it was the smallest you’ve ever seen and it was empty. It only had two garden chairs and nothing else. No carpet, no heating, no bathroom. I had to go to my parents’ house to take a bath. But it was perfect. I thought my lifestyle was bohemian. I was sad when I left it.
Why did you leave it?
Because there are some renovations in London and the rent raised 5.000 pounds. I was in U.S.A. for a whole year because of the filming of Twilight. I was practically paying for an apartment that my friends were living in. So I left it.
Where do you live now?
Nowhere.
Are you excited that you’re going to be a “vampire” for the next ten years?
Yes but that’s not going to last so much because vampires aren’t getting old. So I can’t do it for more than the next two years. It will be ridiculous.”

Lainey has exclusive New Moon set pictures…or rather pictures from La Push scenes.
These are exclusive on set photos of Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as Bella and Jacob shooting scenes in what’s supposed to be La Push yesterday for New Moon.
As you can see, they’re both wearing wigs. Movie making magic! And I always thought her hair was that thick and lustrous! There’d been a lot of questions about whether or not Taylor could grow into the role. From the back, Taylor does look kinda man now. Kristen’s make up is great. Am all over the stain they use on her lips. Gorgeous.

“It’s a different movie, a lot happens,” says Stewart of the film in which her character, Bella, suffers the greatest loss of her teenage life: her intense vampire lover, Edward Cullen.
“She loses him, which is certainly a crazy concept for me to accept because that’s the basis for the entire first movie.”
“She grows up, quite a bit. She’s forced to, and she’s got strength and inner determination. A lot of people in her situation would be like, OK, done.”

Twilight News – Twilight Cast @ DVD Release Parties!
MTV has a report on Ashley Greene at a DVD release party.
Later, as the Twilighters chanted down the minutes to midnight as if it were New Year’s Eve, Ashley appeared. They went nuts. She ducked inside the Hot Topic, jumped behind the counter, and started greeting the fans as they picked up their DVD. There were lots of hugs, shrieks, and tears of joy – but enough about me.
ET Online has a video on Ashley Greene surprising the fans at the Twilight DVD release party.
Edi Gathegi attended a DVD release party at Penn Plaza, NYC. Check out the video below:

After a Salt Lake City radio station announced that a Twilight star was going to be at Wallmart the entire town pretty much abandoned where they were going to get their DVD’s and they headed over to Wallmart. Our Salt Lake City team was prescheduled to lead the fun and games at a Borders across town. So they lead the games, got their DVD’s at Borders and then headed across town to Wallmart where they met Rachelle where Rachelle gave the Lex a shout out and Nena cullen who shot the vid got a surprise hug.

MTV has an article stating that Catherine Hardwicke won’t be returning to ‘Twilight’ franchise.
“I think it’s healthier to have a new person do [each one],” explained Hardwicke, who was recently replaced for the sequel “New Moon” but had some fans holding out hope she might return for the upcoming “Eclipse” or “Breaking Dawn” films. “I’ve loved all the different directors that did the ‘Harry Potter’ [films], because each one had their own cool style and energy, so I think that’s good. And I’m moving on to other projects.”
Yoy0-j shared 2 scans of Robert’s picture from a Japanese Magazine (“Kono Eiga ga Sugoi”) over at rpatzzdaily.

In this entry, it was reported that Kristen and Taylor was at Tofino. Now, Westcoaster.ca has an interesting article.
“The weather is perfect for us: rainy, dismal, in the sense of the visuals, the mist on the ocean, the cloudiness, the erratic wind activity,” said Bill Bannerman, New Moon’s co-producer. “Everything is exactly what it should be.”
Cast members Kristin Stewart, who plays Isabella Swan, and Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black, arrived in Tofino by bus Thursday.
Poor weather prevented them from flying directly to Tofino from Vancouver. So they flew to Nanaimo and drove west across Vancouver Island.
Under rainy, gray skies, filming kicked off Thursday afternoon at the rugged and rocky South Beach, located near Wickaninnish Beach inside Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
Cast and crew returned to South Beach Friday morning, before moving to Incinerator Rock at Long Beach, where Parks Canada closed down a parking lot popular with surfers for movie crews.
Bannerman said the crew needed to shoot a couple of scenes that would bridge the story’s second act and show the characters evolving personalities and relationships.
In conclusion, it was mentioned that filming will wrap up only at the end of May and the movie, as we all know, will hit theaters in November 20th in the US. If you missed out on our entry regarding New Moon’s release date in Singapore, check it out here!
