THANK YOU – TwiSg’s Twilight Saga Movie Marathon!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made it happened last Sunday for the FIRST ever Twilight Saga Movie Marathon!!! Thank you to those who took time off from their commitments to come down and join us :D

For those who’re unable to attend, thank you for the support given to us and hopefully there’s more events for *coughs* Breaking Dawn in the near future.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Shaw Organisation for this event! The Twilight Saga Movie Marathon would not have been possible without Shaw’s support and their generosity.

The event started out on a good note. Fans came very early…just to get the best seats or perhaps they’re just too excited to watch all the 3 films together with fellow Twilighters! Some came prepared with shawls and all….since we’ll will be glued to our seats from 10am to 5pm!

And of course, as promised….we do have our LUCKY DRAW! We gave out exclusive movie premiums from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE as lucky draw prizes.

We were at the premiere of “Eclipse – bite to sunset ‘right on the red carpet in Los Angeles!

Wir Lieben Kino interviewed the cast/crew of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Hey, Kristen did the familiar hand wave 5:10 mark :D If I remember correctly, she did the same thing during the Twilight premiere @ Tokyo! And….Awwww at Rob’s answer @ 5:40 mark!

When you put your heart and soul into something as intense as the duration of a film production, you become completely lost in it. You focus on doing your very best to get it right each day and you work on this for so long that you assume an ownership of it.

When shooting The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, I always felt an awareness of how many people this film would reach and as a result, knew that this film did not just belong to myself, the producers and the studio, but more so, to all of you, the fans of The Twilight Saga.

At the end of the day, after all the hard work is done, all that’s left is the film itself, and your overwhelmingly positive and supportive responses have made me feel like we must have done something right. As a filmmaker, this is a rare and strange feeling of connection with an audience of which I will never forget and I thank you all for it.

Aww, watch this ‘Eclipse’ proposal! A fan proposed to his girlfriend during the Eclipse midnight premiere:

The Twilight books were a source that kick-started my relationship with my girlfriend. Three and half great years later, I managed to get my manager at the movie theater I work at to allow me to ask her to marry me at the Eclipse midnight premiere. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment and crowd.
