New Moon final screening

As you all know, The Twilight Saga: New Moon’s final screening took place last Friday, January 22nd. Here are some pictures from the event:

I apologize for not having taken some of you guys as the movie had begun. Hope you guys enjoyed the final screening!
Channel 5′s first interstitial!

Channel 5 will be launching their first interstitial tonight at 10pm! I know it’s a bit of a rush, but do tune in as there is a very huuuuge surprise for all you Singaporean Twilighters out there. Help us to spread the message as quickly as possible as we have less than an hour left!
Wake up all your fellow Twilighters if they are already in bed, haha! Just kidding. But trust me, you won’t want to miss this surprise segment of Channel 5′s first interstitial!
DON’T MISS IT!
[EDIT] Apologies Twilighters. It is not showing on TV yet. We’re guessing it’s only after Singapore Idol. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Hopefully Channel 5 will screen the interstitial for all of us soon. We’re disappointed too. If we do get hold of the interstitial, we will definitely share it here!
Twilight Saga: Official New Moon Soundtrack Preview

Here’s a preview of ALL the songs on the New Moon soundtrack! I don’t know if it is copyrighted material or not so you’d better listen to it while the video is still around!
Edit:
You can now hear full songs from the soundtrack! These have been leaked though, so the videos may soon be taken down.

New Moon trailer review!
LONG TIME NO SEE! I miss you guys. *gives everyone a virtual hug*
Anyway, I’m here to give a brief review about the New Moon trailer which is now officially showing in theatres.
On Tuesday, 25th August 2009, Shaw invited us to the gala premiere of Bandslam to watch the New Moon trailer that is attached to the film. Aishah and I went as representatives because the rest of us were busy! We were informed that the trailer would show at roughly 1940.
Later though, due to unforeseen circumstances, the premiere was delayed. It’s okay though, because I think everyone did a really good job.
When the logo of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” appeared, the atmosphere became electric. Then, after a split second, all the shrieking finally arrived. I won’t deny that Aishah and I were great contributors too.
To be honest, there was so much excited screaming that I couldn’t hear what the dialogue was (although I’m very much familiar with it)! It was just that brilliant. When the short piece finally ended, it went out with much cheering.
In case you don’t know which trailer I’m referring to, it is ‘Meet Jacob Black’!
Oh man, if the trailer is receiving such a warm response, I have no idea how good the movie’s reception is going to be!
SO EXCITED. Also, trust me when I say that nothing beats going to the cinema and watching the trailer IN ALL ITS GLORY~~~~~~~
Le sigh.
Twilight Book Discussion: Port Angeles

I started with the most undemanding. Or so I thought. “Why are you in Port Angeles?”
He looked down, folding his large hands together slowly on the table. His eyes flickered up at me from under his lashes, the hint of a smirk on his face.
“Next.”
“But that’s the easiest one,” I objected.
“Next,” he repeated.
“Okay, then.” I glared at him, and continued slowly. “Let’s say, hypothetically of course, that…someone…could know what people are thinking, read minds, you know – with a few exceptions.”
“Just one exception,” he corrected, “hypothetically.”
“All right, with one exception, then.” I was thrilled that he was playing along, but I tried to seem casual. “How does that work? What are the limitations? How would…that someone…find someone else at exactly the right time? How would he know she was in trouble?” I wondered if my convoluted questions even made sense.
“Hypothetically?” he asked.
“Sure.”
“Well, if…that someone…”
“Let’s call him ‘Joe,’” I suggested.
He smiled wryly. “Joe, then. If Joe had been paying attention, the timing wouldn’t have needed to be quite so exact.” He shook his head, rolling his eyes. “Only you could get into trouble in a town this small. You would have devastated their crime rate statistics for a decade, you know.”
“We were speaking of a hypothetical case,” I reminded him frostily.
He laughed at me, his eyes warm.
HELLO EVERYONE, I AM FINALLY BACK! No, the worst is not over yet. I’m simply here because I have time, and even so, I am late by a day once again. I don’t think you could ever trust me to be on time ever again.
Thanks Nash for helping out with last week’s discussion, and I’ll reply to it and the previous ones after doing this.
So, in the meantime, welcome to Chapter 8: Port Angeles! The very chapter where there were two pivotal points. 1) Edward saving Bella from the potential criminals and 2) Bella extracting the facts out from Edward. There’s more in the next chapter though. Hee.
Questions, questions!
1. Let’s have some fun this week. If your prom was themed “semiformal”, what would you wear there? Bonus cookies for pictures! (Note: No quoting of any item from the movie.)
2. ‘”That’s why Lauren doesn’t like you.’” Jessica said that, after spilling to Bella that Tyler has been going around saying that he’s bringing her to prom. Now, having once discussed Lauren’s personality, do you agree with Jessica?
3. Bella was getting to screaming, and recalling the fighting techniques. Why do you think she didn’t immediately do either of them, but delayed a little?
4. ‘”Er…sure,” Jessica breathed.’ If you were Jessica, would you really pretend to not have eaten just so you could be with Edward and Bella? (And subsequently eat again?)
5. Ignore this question if it’s been explained in Midnight Sun. Why do you think Edward chose not to answer Bella’s first question?
6. “The waitress appeared as if she’d been called. Or listening.” If you were the waitress, what would you have made out of the situation and the conversation?
Most number of questions ever, so far. Hoping to break the record in the future!
Twilight Book Discussion: Scary Stories

TODAY, IN CLASS, I WROTE “MRS ROBERT PATTINSON” ON MY LEFT HAND.
I ended the last “N” in his surname with a very high stroke upwards, and because I was using a brown pen, I decided to add in branches and draw a green patch around it. Random little thing I decided to share with you guys.
So, I profusely apologize for the absence of punctuality for this new book discussion entry. I was tied down recently with so much new commitments at school. >:[ I don’t like it! But, oh well. Anyway it’s Saturday and I’m here, already, so let’s move on to Chapter 6: Scary Stories! Hi there Jacob.
“They didn’t hunt the way others of their kind did – they weren’t supposed to be dangerous to the tribe. So my great-grandfather made a truce with them. If they would promise to stay off our lands, we wouldn’t expose them to the pale-faces.” He winked at me.
“If they weren’t dangerous, then why…?” I tried to understand, struggling not to let him see how seriously I was considering his ghost story.
“There’s always a risk for humans to be around the cold ones, even if they’re civilized like this clan was. You never know when they might get too hungry to resist.” He deliberately worked a tick edge of menace into his tone.
“What do you mean, ‘civilized’?”
“They claimed that they didn’t hunt humans. They supposedly were somehow able to prey on animals instead.”
I tried to keep my voice casual. “So how does it fit in with the Cullens? Are they like the cold ones your great-grandfather met?”
“No.” He paused dramatically. “They are the same ones.”
He must have thought the expression on my face was fear inspired by his story. He smiled, pleased, and continued.
“There are more of them now, a new female and a new male, but the rest are the same. In my great-grandfather’s time they already knew of the leader, Carlisle. He’d been here and gone before your people had even arrived.” He was fighting a smile.
“And what are they?” I finally asked. “What are the cold ones?”
He smiled darkly.
I have no idea if I should continue and end the excerpt the way you guys are probably wanting it to, but if you do want me to add in the ending just for the sake of the drama, go ahead and tell me all right. If not, I’ll just begin with the questions!
Q1: Lauren was mean to Bella, but only because Tyler was planning to ask Bella to prom. With this main point and other clues you can find, discuss Lauren’s personality.
Q2: Although Lauren and most other girls had already decided to stay on the beach, why do you think Bella wanted to wait till Tyler and Eric had committed to staying before she got up to join the pro-hiking group?
Q3: When Jacob asked whether Bella knew where he could get a master cylinder for his car, why do you think that Bella didn’t tell him immediately that she didn’t know what it was?
Q4: Jacob: So, is Forks driving you insane yet?
Bella: Oh, I’d say that’s an understatement.
Following that, Bella noted that Jacob “grinned understandingly”. Do you think that the word “understandingly” in this case was being used in the case of Bella’s opinion, or as a factual case?
Q5: “He must have thought the expression on my face was fear inspired by his story.” We all know it wasn’t – but what was Bella afraid of, then?
Q6: “It was nice to see you again.” How do you think Mike felt in response to that statement by Jacob at that moment?
Also, from this onwards, I’ll now officially reply to the book discussion myself too! Try to write your own opinion first before looking at mine and then arguing with me, okay?
Happy discussing!
Twilight Book Discussion: Blood Type

OMG, ONE OF MY FAVOURITE CHAPTERS HAHAHA! This is such a cute turning point that, sadly, had to be retrieved out from the movie. Anyway, I sincerely apologize for my lack of replies to the last book discussion entry. If you didn’t know yet, I have commented back already. If you wish to continue discussing from there, I don’t mind!
So now, one week later, let’s move on to Chapter 5: Blood Type. AHHHH ONE OF MY FAVOURITE CHAPTERS!
Suddenly the sidewalk disappeared from beneath me. My eyes flew open in shock. Edward had scooped me up in his arms, as easily as if I weighed ten pounds instead of a hundred and ten.
“Put me down!” Please, please let me not vomit on him. He was walking before I was finished talking.
“Hey!” Mike called, already ten paces behind us.
Edward ignored him. “You look awful,” he told me, grinning.
“Put me back on the sidewalk,” I moaned. The rocking movement of his walk was not helping. He held me away from his body, gingerly, supporting all my weight with just his arms – it didn’t seem to bother him.
“So you faint at the sight of blood?” he asked. This seemed to amuse him.
I didn’t answer. I closed my eyes again and fought the nausea with all my strength, clamping my lips together.
“And not even your own blood,” he continued, enjoying himself.
I didn’t know how he opened the door while carrying me, but it was suddenly warm, so I knew we were inside.
“Oh my,” I heard a female voice gasp.
“She fainted in Biology,” Edward explained.
I opened my eyes. I was in the office, and Edward was striding past the front counter toward the nurse’s door. Ms Cope, the redheaded front office receptionist, ran ahead of him to hold it open. The grandmotherly nurse looked up from a novel, astonished, as Edward swung me into the room and placed me gently on the crackly paper that covered the brown vinyl mattress on the one cot. Then he moved to stand against the wall as far across the narrow room as possible.
“She’s just a little faint,” he reassured the startled nurse. “They’re blood typing in Biology.”
The nurse nodded sagely. “There’s always one.”
He muffled a snicker.
Q1: Name the different emotions you think Bella would have felt in between the transition from when she thought Edward wasn’t in the cafeteria, to when Jessica said, “Edward Cullen is staring at you again.”
Q2: What do you think was the emotion (note: emotion, not feeling) that channelled Bella and made her raise her face to the rain outside the school building?
Q3: Edward asked, “Are you frightened of me now?” and Bella instantly answered, “No.” Why do you think Bella didn’t even pause to think through her answer?
Three questions only, but I want you guys to talk about this and more random stuff okay! Also, I apologize for the late posting of this, as I came home pretty late from school. But let the bashing arguing debating begin! LOL, whatever.
Twilight Online Book Discussion: Invitations

Without further ado, welcome to Chapter 4: Invitations!
“Bella, you are utterly absurd,” he said, his low voice cold.
My palms tingled – I wanted so badly to hit something. I was surprised at myself. I was usually a nonviolent person. I turned my back and started to walk away.
“Wait,” he called. I kept walking, sloshing angrily through the rain. But he was next to me, easily keeping pace.
“I’m sorry, that was rude,” he said as we walked. I ignored him. “I’m not saying it isn’t true,” he continued, “but it was rude to say, anyway.”
“Why won’t you leave me alone?” I grumbled.
“I wanted to ask you something, but you sidetracked me,” he chuckled. He seemed to have recovered his good humor.
“Do you have a multiple personality disorder?” I asked severely.
“You’re doing it again.”
I sighed. “Fine then. What do you want to ask?”
“I was wondering if, a week from Saturday – you know, the day of the spring dance -”
“Are you trying to be funny?” I interrupted him, wheeling toward him. My face got drenched as I looked up at his expression.
His eyes were wickedly amused. “Will you please allow me to finish?”
I bit my lip and clasped my hands together, interlocking my fingers, so I couldn’t do anything rash.
“I heard you say you were going to Seattle that day, and I was wondering if you wanted a ride.”
That was unexpected.
Q1: “Why won’t you leave me alone?” I grumbled. Do you think Bella really meant it when she asked Edward to leave her alone? Why or why not?
Q2: Why did Bella think that the only conclusion that was available, was that Edward regretted saving her?
Q3: What were your first impressions when Eric and Tyler both replied to Bella’s rejection with “next time” and “we still have prom” respectively, with regards to character analyzing as well as storyline wise?
Q4: Okay, once again, I haven’t read MS yet, so if the answer’s really there, whatever, ignore it! Problem is, why do you think Edward invited Bella to drive to Seattle with him, yet warned her to stay away?
I am so sorry people, the questions this time round aren’t so good. I’m rushing off to bed FYI, and I’ll be gone for about two days. Have fun replying to thin air! Right, okay kidding.
Twilight News (New Moon News)

Rob has a Valentine’s Day shout out from Seventeen!
There has also been an interview with Rob in German, but unless you are fluent in the language, thank you to cherryorchard1 @ lion_lamb for a translation!
And I know this is New Moon news, but well, let’s just all stuff it conveniently into one entry: Look at Taylor! He’s all grown up!
Twilight Online Book Discussion: Phenomenon

AREN’T YOU EXCITED? HERE COMES THE MOST DEFINING SCENE, AND IT’S FROM CHAPTER 3: PHENOMENON! It really is extraordinary.
Just before I heard the shattering crunch of the van folding around the truck bed, something hit me, hard, but not from the direction I was expecting. My head cracked against the icy blacktop, and I felt something solid and cold pinning me to the ground. I was lying on the pavement behind the tan car I’d parked next to. But I didn’t have a chance to notice anything else, because the van was still coming. It had curled gratingly around the end of the truck and, still spinning and sliding, was about to collide with me again.
A low oath made me aware that someone was with me, and the voice was impossible not to recognize. Two long, white hands shot out protectively in front of me, and the van shuddered to a stop a foot from my face, the large hands fitting providentially into a deep dent in the side of the van’s body.
Then his hands moved so fast they blurred. One was suddenly gripping under the body of the van, and something was dragging me, swinging my legs around like a rag doll’s, till they hit the tire of the tan car. A groaning, metallic thud hurt my ears, and the van settled, glass popping, onto the asphalt – exactly where, a second ago, my legs had been.
It was absolutely silent for one long second before the screaming began.
1. Hohoho, how do you think Tyler managed to lose control of his van other than because of the ice? (I know there’s a brief explanation in the chapter, but use your ~imagination~)
2. ‘”Hey, Edward, I’m really sorry -” Tyler began.
Edward lifted a hand to stop him.
“No blood, no foul.”‘
What other underlying meanings are there to Edward’s reply, whether he meant them or not?
3. We know that Edward didn’t know the real reason behind why he saved Bella but looking at his character, what do you think was the motive that made him act to shift her away and not get squished?
4. Why do you think Bella dreamt of Edward that night?
WOOT.
Twilight Online Book Discussion: Open Book

I know I am so late, was studying for a test (and secretly reading New Moon at the same time)! You can pelt me with eggs and throw spears at me now. *ducks* Anyway, welcome to Chapter 2: Open Book!
I was showing off, just a little. I’d already done this lab, and I knew what I was looking for. It should be easy. I snapped the first slide into place under the microscope and adjusted it quickly to the 40X objective. I studied the slide briefly.
My assessment was confident. “Prophase.”
“Do you mind if I look?” he asked as I began to remove the slide. His hand caught mine, to stop me, as he asked. His fingers were ice-cold, like he’d been holding them in a snowdrift before class. But that wasn’t why I jerked my hand away so quickly. When he touched me, it stung my hand as if an electric current had passed through us.
“I’m sorry,” he muttered, pulling his hand back immediately. However, he continued to reach for the microscope. I watched him, still staggered, as he examined the slide for an even shorter time than I had.
“Prophase,” he agreed, writing it neatly in the first space on our worksheet. He swiftly switched out the first slide for the second, and then glanced at it cursorily.
“Anaphase,” he murmured, writing it down as he spoke.
I kept my voice indifferent. “May I?”
Q1: Why do you think Bella wanted to show off?
Q2: What possible reasons led to Charlie becoming defensive and so uptight when Bella noted to him that “They… the kids… are a little different. They don’t seem to fit in very well at school.”?
Q3: When Edward questioned Bella about her move to Forks, why do you think he made assumptions and statements (“And you don’t like him [Phil]“, “And your mother sent you here so that she could travel with him) instead of asking questions?
Q4: After school, Edward was “staring intently” in Bella’s direction from his Volvo. Using your imagination, what do you think he was pondering over as he looked towards Bella?
Once again, I apologize for the Mega Late post! Now let your words run!
Twilight News

Kristen has an interview with TeeMix, a French site. It has been split into four videos.
Again with French sites, here’s one with Kristen and Rob by a fan.
There’s so much Rob news okay, first off: Robert Pattinson Hottest ‘Super Celebrity’ for 2009! Or so Fox News announces.
Rob is in MSN’s Hottest Rising Stars Of ’09! In fact, he topped the list.
And last but not least, Cinematical’s 25 Hottest of 2008 list has Rob within. I’m not revealing his position on it, so just sift through the list!
Twilight News

Hi everyone. This is my last post before school starts.
‘Twilight’ is upon on Movie Mistakes, with a total of 43 mistakes in the film. Most of these are true, but there are a few ridiculous ones too.
Okay, so, this isn’t exactly related but here’s Robert and Kristen saying “Wir lieben Kino”, which is German for “We love the cinema”. I think it’s cute to hear them speak in a foreign tongue.
I’ll be away at camp for the next two days too. Bye everyone.
Twilight News

HAHA, NASH MADE THE FIRST POST OF 2009, but I’m here to give you the first news post of the year. Muahaha.
The Improper has called the Twilight mania “unstoppable”: LOL.
TV Guide has named Robert Pattinson as one of the breakout stars of 2008.
Remember MySpace’s Artist on Artist, which featured Rob and Hayley interviewing each other? Well, there have been more released pictures of them.
Here’s toasting to New Moon!
Twilight News

OH MY EDWARD DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE LATEST NEWS OF ROB? Well, listen to this:
Earlier in December Robert Pattison [sic] attended a show at The Improv. A tacky and heartless comic was trying to make a tasteless joke out of the death of Heath Ledger. Offended and hurt, Sparklepants stood up for Ledger.
Read the rest of the article! The best part is towards the end! Normally I don’t really post about tabloids but this was just too good to pass.
Twilight’s premiere on 17 November has a spot on Entertainment Weekly’s “10 Biggest Showbiz Events of 2008.”
Rob’s all-black ensemble has made it to The Huffington Post’s Best Trends of 2008. Wow.
Oh, but here’s the best thing for today: Technically, Twilight was bigger than The Dark Knight. Don’t believe me? E! Online says it’s true!
That’s all, folks!
Twilight News
Slow news day. Again. Not as slow as yesterday, but still.

MTV has named out the best movie set visits of 2008, and of course they included ‘Twilight‘s! Who can forget Jackson’s priceless line of, “I don’t know, they’ve got brooms!” To see the rest of the list, just let the clip play on.
‘Twilight’ was also listed under CTV.ca’s article on ‘Who were 2008′s most influential tastemakers?‘ There’s a nice big photo of Rob there, too.
Rotten Tomatoes reports on ‘Twilight’ beating out ‘Quantum of Solace’ for the total gross.
Just a month ago, nobody would have guessed that the modestly-budgeted $37M teen saga would go on to outgun the latest James Bond film and its $200M+ budget.
Full article here, as well as short reports on the rest of the movies.
CNN also has an article, this time it’s a list on the Top 10 entertainment stories of 2008, and we hit the big one-oh! Full article here.
National Post has one whole article praising ‘Twilight’, saying it put down 90210 and made it look fake! I guess the irony in this is that Kellan Lutz has a share in both shows.
What do I tag this under, by the way? The whole entry is just reports on the movie and things like that!
Twilight News

Ah, lately the news have been moving in too slowly. Sigh.
So Rob is the man of the moment, for his haircut caused a sensation. Anyway, ABS-CBN has currently denied any remake of Twilight, but I won’t trust any form of denial by them until it’s been officially marked off as merely a rumour. Also, we have awkward ‘Twilight’ bits.
Like I said, slow news day. Boo.
Twilight Online Book Discussion: First Sight

Beginning today, Bessy (that’s me!) will post a book discussion entry for every chapter in Twilight every Sunday. In each entry, I will include an excerpt from the chapter as well as a question. You can choose to reply to the question or just speak your mind about any part of the chapter. It’s a free-for-all kind of thing.
As this is a book discussion, do remember to check back every once in a while to see if anyone has replied to your comment! The rules are very simple: No quarrelling, no bashing, no hate. Everyone just enjoy yourselves and be open.
Today, I’ll be embarking on Chapter 1: First Sight.
I couldn’t stop myself from peeking occasionally through the screen of my hair at the strange boy next to me. During the whole class, he never relaxed his stiff position on the edge of his chair, sitting as far from me possible. I could see his hand on his left skin. This, too, he never relaxed. He had the long sleeves of his white shirt pushed up to his elbows, and his forearm was surprisingly hard and muscular beneath his light skin. He wasn’t nearly as slight as he’d looked next to his burly brother.
The class seemed to drag on longer than the others. Was it because the day was finally coming to a close, or because I was waiting for his tight fist to loosen? It never did; he continued to sit so still it looked like he wasn’t breathing. What was wrong with him? Was this his normal behaviour? I questioned my judgment on Jessica’s bitterness at lunch today. Maybe she was not as resentful as I’d thought.
It couldn’t have anything to do with me. He didn’t know me from Eve.
I peeked up at him one more time, and regretted it. He was glaring down at me again, his black eyes full of revulsion. As I flinched away from him, shrinking against my chair, the phrase if looks could kill suddenly rang through my mind.
At that moment, the bell rang loudly, making me jump, and Edward Cullen was out of his seat. Fluidly he rose – he was much taller than I’d thought – his back to me, and he was out the door before anyone else was out of their seat.
Q1: When Bella described that Edward was “was out the door before anyone else was out of their seat”, did you presume that he simply walked very quickly or he’d thrown in a bit of his powers and almost ran out of the room at superhuman speed?
YAY, NASH SAYS I CAN ADD IN MORE QUESTIONS, LOL. I shall try for a few fun ones, all right?
Q2: The story goes that the Cullens moved down to Forks from Alaska two years ago. Using your imagination, how do you think Jessica knew about that? Since, very obviously, the Cullens do not talk to the humans.
Q3: Do you think it would have been easier for Edward to kill Ms Cope and then Bella in the office, or the entire Biology class? You can interpret “easier” in whatever manner you wish, like with regards to his ability or how much less of a hassle it would have been to murder only Ms Cope. Any way you want to.
I swear I’m not being sadistic!
Happy Discussing!

That’s it for now, tata!
[UPDATED] The Twilight Guy has just finished a new chapter on Eclipse. Chapter 14: Declaration
Twilight News

Things are getting both hilarious and outrageous. There were Hot Topic band-aids, Twilight ice cream and Edward body shimmer. Now there’s perfume that “smells of lavender and freesia, just like Bella.” Is it a joke? Is it one product too much on the paraphernalia that’s already around? I have no idea. You can see more of it here, but I have to warn you: The bottle looks exactly like the Nina by Nina Ricci perfume bottle.
Moving on to slightly more serious stuff, The Buzz Log has said that Rob’s new haircut has “caused an absolute Internet uproar.” HAHA. Doesn’t it attract more hits to your site when you exaggerate? Sure it does.
Robert has more video interviews!
Remember the Celebrity Addictionary word I’d posted about a while back? Well, E! Online has one more article demonstrating a few more Rob-related words! It’s so funny.
ABS-CBN bags rights for local ‘Twilight’ remake – no you didn’t read wrongly. ‘Twilight’ is going to be made into a local television series in Philippines! And I’m pretty sure that it’s official, now. PerezHilton.com has an article about it too, but do take note that the poster on his site is very obviously edited.
Which of you went to watch Twilight today in commemoration of the film’s original release date locally?
Comment, and discuss! And don’t forget to keep your stubs!
Twilight News

I’m listening to the following interviews now and Rob is really cute. Listen for yourself.
His voice is kind of softer in this interview, actually. Yes, you did not hear wrongly, in the first video the interviewer said that Rob isn’t as “good looking in real life”. LOL. And I am unsure why he didn’t mention “Parts Ber Billion” for his next project too. Does anyone find it funny that Rob is afraid of heights and Kristen isn’t? Kind of like the reverse for their roles.
Another interview here (the introduction is pretty long):
I wonder if he can truly juggle.
Joe DeShano from MTV has published his own list of Top 10 movies, and Twilight is number 4:
4. “Twilight”: I find myself kind of surprised that “Twilight” is in my top 10. And what’s it doing at #4? Well, I remember a movie back in 1989 that got fans really excited… That was Tim Burton’s “Batman.”… This movie is that for the younger, female generation. What’s better is that it isn’t necessarily some sappy love story. There’s action and vampires and, yeah, a love interest, but there are also subplots and interwoven texture, which are rare to the vampire genre… I look forward to the sequel.
It’s SizzlingPopcorn.com’s turn to do the whole movies/actors voting thing, and they have it right here. Yes, of course Twilight is in it or else it would be featured right here on this entry. Just vote wisely, once again.
The Fandango 2009 Hot List is out, and Rob is #2 for “Who is the sexiest man in the movies for 2009?”, according to women. Well, he was beat out by Johnny Depp.
Here’s a short description about him.
Similarly, on Pixcetera’s own list of Breakout Stars of 2008, Kristen is #7 on the list and Rob is just after her. Mind you, to get to their pictures, you’ll have to pass other tween sensations. Just to warn you.
Just Jared has new photos of Rob in his new crop upon arrival at the Heathrow airport in London. Now that there’s clearer photos, I think his new haircut is pretty cute!
“I am in a band at the moment called Bad Girls. The band belongs to my first girlfriend’s current boyfriend… I don’t know where that’s going to go.”
Did you see the bolded sentence?
Celebrity Fix wants to ask Rob’s new hairdo is hot or not – vote for it.
BBC has this “Celebrity Badges” segment, they have Rob’s and Kristen’s badges too. They’re somewhere towards the bottom. If I could, I would print them out and make them into badges. PS: Anyone else finds that Rob’s drawing looks like… a foetus? Comment, and try not to have any Breaking Dawn spoilers okay guys?
Something funny from E! Online: On Sunday, Celebrity Addictionary’s word of the day was Pattronize.
It’s a verb that means “to humor one’s Twilight-obsessed friends” who are all gaga over grungy-hunk, sensitive-vampire-dude Robert Pattinson.
REMEMBER PEOPLE:
THE MAKING OF TWILIGHT will be on CHANNEL 5 tonight at 7:30 P.M.! Don’t miss it!
Twilight News
Hi I love all of you, did you enjoy the Movie Outing yesterday? HAH. I did!

Anyway, we have an even bigger poll now! It’s the Year-End Movies Poll by Moviefone, and I’m not actually pimping this, so I’m a huge movie buff, so I won’t be biased and say to definitely vote for ‘Twilight’ and its stars for every category they appear in, but do vote fairly and wisely! ‘Twilight’ appears in the following questions:
1. Which movie was most worth your cash?
4. Who was the best villain?
5. What was the best chick flick?
9. Who was the hottest hunk of the year? (!!!!!!!!)
14. Who was the breakout star of the year? (Both Kristen and Rob!)
15. Who was the best on-screen couple?
IGN: Your mutual chemistry is crucial to the film – how did you sustain it?
Pattinson: I used to sometimes just run into Kristen’s bedroom naked, just to keep shocking her… No, I don’t know, it’s funny because all the romantic scenes were kind of – are you better at [answering] this than I am?
Stewart: No, I’m so terrible at it…
ROFL, READ THE REST OF THAT INTERVIEW HERE! I laughed for 5 minutes straight at Rob’s answer.
Anyway, Rob says, ‘People Want me to Kill Them‘. Apparently Rob also knows how Tom Cruise feels. I know they seem to have nothing in common but… think again!
Kristen has a new interview with BBC Radio. There are some movie spoilers in it, so beware.
How do you deal with that? Do you take the mickey out of Robert all the time for the reaction he gets?
Oh my god. All the time. Constantly. It’s like, ‘Rob. Touch your hair again’.
Both Rob and Kristen have interviews with Digital Spy.
Rob’s: http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid5189484001?bclid=5172016001&bctid=5172891001
Kristen’s: http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid5189484001?bclid=5172016001&bctid=5192714001
(It actually continues to Kristen’s interview once Rob’s video finishes, so don’t worry.)
There’s a new previously unseen behind the scenes picture from the January 2009 issue of ‘Total Film’. It’s at the bottom left of the page. Credits to Everglow for the scans!
Stephenie Meyer has been named by USA Today as Author of the Year! Aren’t we proud of her?
For those of you who, like me, wished you knew the correct notes to Bella’s Lullaby and more, both Amazon and Interstate Music are selling ‘Twilight – The Score: Music from the Motion Picture (Paperback)’, where all the scores are in it, but it’s only for the piano. I hope local bookstores start importing them!
Ashley Greene is excited for Chris Weitz, who will be taking over ‘New Moon’ from Catherine Hardwicke. MTV’s full report over here. There’s a video included.
“I want to drive the yellow Porsche, really bad — in Europe,” she giggled, citing the “New Moon” moment she’s most eager to film. “That’s what I’m most excited about now. I keep saying I hope they let me drive it, because on the first ‘Twilight’ we wanted to do our own stunts, and they let us do everything we realistically could. So, I’m hoping if I learn how to drive stick-shift, they’ll let me drive the Porsche.”
That was so Alice of her to say that.
Empire Online has a quiz on Twilight, but you must log in or register to be able to do it!
