Breaking Dawn News – The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn PART 1′s FIRST Promo poster revealed!

Thanks to RobPattzNews for the heads up!

Steven Weintraub of Collider.com is attending CinemaCon (formerly Showest) -” a convention for theater owners and operators to see what’s new in their industry and be wined and dined by the Hollywood Studios.  It’s essentially Comic-Con for people that make big decisions in the movie industry.” And guess what he found?!

Instead of the usual black background its now sorta grey – wonder what it means..? :D

Nonetheless! EXCITED! December can’t come any sooner!!

Breaking Dawn News

Twilighters rejoice!! Robert Pattinson has confirmed with Total Film that he has done the scene where he performs the caeserian with his teeth on Bella!!

“Yeah, I’ve done it,” RPattz laughed, “I’ve chewed it, spat it out!”

Though he’s not allowed to give much more away (joking with Ryan Seacrest recently that he gets ‘beaten’ for revealing details), Pattinson promises that Breaking Dawn will be “very different to the other films – more like a horror film.”

A Review of Red Riding Hood

Some of you might wonder why I’m reviewing a movie that is not Twilight related. Is it because it involves a wolf? Not at all. Red Riding Hood and Twilight does have a little bit of common ground – in the directing and acting. Catherine Hardwicke, the woman who brought Twilight to the big screens directed this movie and casted Billy Burke as one of the characters. (His acting was superb BTW) And just for your information, Leonardo DiCaprio produced this movie. ;)

Red Riding Hood might seem like the innocent fairytale story we know of but looks can be deceiving. I watched the movie with my friend and I told her since Catherine directed this movie, it might looked a little bit like Twilight. And true enough, the first few scenes reminded me of Catherine’s creation of the Twilight world! Vast lands of pine trees, with snow covered mountains from a bird’s eye view – so Twilight! I was fangirling during that moment =P

The movie revolves around a young village girl named Valerie, played by Amanda Seyfried (love her BTW) whose village has been haunted by a werewolf.

Amanda Seyfried as Valere AKA Red Riding Hood

She’s best friends since childhood with a young lad by the name of Peter, played by Shiloh Fernandez. (My friend told me that he was one of the candidates to play the role of Edward Cullen, but oh well, Robert Pattinson, you’re still the best!) And as you all know, if you’re best friends with a guy, it always eds with love.

Shiloh Fernandez as Peter AKA Valerie’s childhood best friend

However, she’s caught in a love triangle as she is to be engaged to the village’s swordsmith’s son Henry, played by Max Irons. So when I noticed this, something clicked to my mind… this looks familiar.

Max Iron as Henry AKA potential husband to Valerie

Henry and Peter. And if you put Valerie in between.. well you get my drift

The village has been trying to catch the wolf but to no avail. See, the werewolf in this movie only comes out on a full moon. If it’s the night of the blood moon, aka red moon, it’s a danger to anyone who has been bitten. Once bitten, it’ll take you three days to be one. They asked the help of a Father Solomon played by Gary Oldman and well… you feel like kicking his butt for the way he acts around the village but oh well, karma bites him in the rear end.

When the werewolf appears, something clicked again to my mind. I’ve seen this before! Oh yes, New Moon! I’ll let you guys guess who the werewolf reminds you of from the Quileute wolfpack. ;)

Valerie aka Red Riding Hood has the ability to communicate with this werewolf and the plot thickens.

This movie isn’t predictable and it makes you guess throughout on who is the “big bad wolf”. It’s a bit cheesy and cliched, on my part, but I’m not sure about you guys.

The revealing of the “big bad wolf” was surprising but the ending well, let’s just say that forbidden love rules all! ;)

Twilight fans, you’ll enjoy it as there are scenes that will remind you of Twilight and our beloved trio – Edward, Bella and Jacob! And some of the lines too! ;)

Parents, a word of caution! The movie is highly sensual and well gross in some parts. The fairytale that we all love is not at all similar to the movie well except for “Grandma, what big eyes you have” and you know the rest.

Enjoy the movie and if you have watched it, do comment about it on this post!

Cast News – Rob Pattinson on the cover of April 2011 Vanity Fair

If you are a HUGE Robert Pattinson fan – here’s another magazine cover to add to your collection (Yeah we hear you – we don’t like the hat too! But everything else makes up for it we guess ;)   ) and of course you must read the article!

“Escape From the Twilight Zone

He can’t escape his looks any more than he can escape the attention of his fans. His face has a kind of gorgeousness one sees in the faces of children, with its perfect pale skin, red lips, large eyes. It’s hard to say it any other way: he’s beautiful.

But such superlatives are probably just the kind of thing that would make him cringe and sweat even more profusely than he’s doing now, through his light-blue cotton button-down. He seems nervous; he says he’s nervous. This interview thing isn’t his thing. “I’m just so boring,” he says, running his hands repeatedly through his thick brown hair until it stands on end. “I’m just so dried up.” He’s chain-smoking American Spirits, drinking coffee and water and Snapple iced tea, nibbling at chocolate-covered pretzels left in a bowl for him by his assistant.

Outside, we can hear the growling of dogs. “I hope they’re not killing poor Martin,” says Pattinson, getting up from the kitchen table and peering out the window. Martin is a stray, the underdog of a pack of dogs belonging to the assistants for Pattinson and his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart. The assistants are sharing this cozy rental house in a quiet residential section of Baton Rouge. They’ve lit a crackling fire and scented candles to keep Pattinson comfortable while he does his interview.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with me,” Pattinson says, returning to the table. Ever since he came back to the Twilight set, he says, he doesn’t feel—well, quite himself. “My brain doesn’t work anymore. I haven’t any memory. I can’t write. All I can do is sign my name. I tried to write the other day—it looked like I was writing in Braille.” I ask him to write something on my notepad; he does, and it’s illegible. “See?” he says. “It looks like spiders have written it.”

There’s a joking element to his bleak description of his state of mind, but he’s being serious as well. It seems the restrictions of living in the bubble of his immense fame are starting to get to him. “I’ve just kind of stopped doing everything,” he says. “I never change the channel in my trailer. I just watch reruns of House of Payne and Two and a Half Men. I love Cops—I think it’s my favorite TV show.

Vanity Fair.com has also released a Website Exclusive Outtake of Rob playing the piano with the New Orleans Preservation Hall band. He didn’t just pose for the pic but actually played with them!

Sing us a song, piano man—let’s start with “Happy Birthday.” New Orleans’s Preservation Hall—where Annie Leibovitz shot young Robert Pattinson, shown tickling the ol’ 88 with the world-famous Preservation Hall band—celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Situated in the French Quarter, the music venue is one of the country’s most hallowed: it was founded in 1961 for the purpose of preserving New Orleans–style jazz, and indigenous American music. On his first-ever visit to the Quarter, Pattinson jammed with the house band and thoroughly held his own—his celebrity perhaps subsumed by that of the musicians, whose legendary status awed everyone on set. “When we first started, none of us knew that Robert really does play piano,” says Ben Jaffe, the tuba player (center, above), the band’s director, and the son of the venue’s founders. “But when he got up there, he started ticking out these notes, and it was obvious he wasn’t just tinkling—he really knew how to play.” Though the musicians were expecting the actor to just pose, Pattinson gamely jammed along with their tunes. After finishing a song, he leaned over to Jaffe “and said, ‘That’s the first time I’ve played with a group of guys like that,’” Jaffe recalls.

And we’re all awaiting for Rob’s latest Vanity Fair issue! HOT PIC with the alligator!

And here’s a little snippet of his interview.

“It’s just very traumatic,” Robert Pattinson tells Vanity Faircontributing editor Nancy Jo Sales of his rumored romance with co-star Kristen Stewart. “When this is over,” Pattinson says of Twilightmania, “the media will lose interest [in the relationship]. There’ll be nothing to say. It won’t fit into a headline anymore. It won’t fit into a template.”

“Kristen is very focused on being an actress,” Pattinson says. “I mean, that’s what she is—she’s an actress. Whereas I—I just don’t really know.” Pattinson also admits to Sales that he has admired Stewart for a long time. “She’s cool. Even before I knew her I thought she was a really good actress. Like, I saw Into the Wild, and I thought she was really good in that. I still think there are very few girls in her class that are as good as she is.
