So far no characters have been cut…The character of Garrett is gonna be a great character, the character of Alistair is gonna be great, the Denali family are fantastic, the Volturis..the Amazons, Benjamin the Egyptians .. they’re all gonna show up and play a part!”

Here are some details she sent me regarding Pre-Production of Breaking Dawn:
- studio is secure and gated but busy.
- a lot of construction going on in the lots (unsure if related to filming or not, it seems likely)
- they are using the lot across from studio also (for storage and vehicles at this point)
- Bill Condon has been spotted in town and is staying at a private location not too far from studios

Breaking Dawn News – Melissa Rosenberg talks about ‘enourmous challenge to choreograph’ the final battle scene
“The final battle sequence is a big challenge because it lasts 25 pages,” Rosenberg told us. “It’s almost an entire three-act story in and of itself. You have to track (kept all in one setting) hundreds of characters. It’s an enormous challenge to choreograph on the page and for Bill to choreograph on the stage.”

Did you guys watch the Emmys this morning?? I think the Glee cast won a few. I was busy watching my Kings of Leon Bonnaroo Fuse TV videos. Anyways, in the midst of all the ceremony – Melissa Rosenberg the sreenwriter for the Twilight Saga movies WHO IS ALSO the producer/writer for the ShowTime’s Dexter – made an appearance on the Emmys 2010 Red Carpet and gave us much needed updates on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn!

She says that
1)Breaking Dawn will be shot on island somewhere in Brazil – talking about Isle Esme.
2) The Final Battle Scene for Breaking Dawn that covers 25 pages in book is gonna be EPIC (as it should be 
)
3) Edward & Bella’s Honeymoon scene – ‘closed set’ ?? ie is gonna be racier than the books?
Rosenberg went on to say that perfecting that scene is her “next big hurdle.”
“I’ve written a couple of drafts [of the scene]; I haven’t gotten with Bill [to go over it] yet. That’s the next big hurdle to sit down with the stunt coordinator and create the ballet.”

We talked with some people here and we wanted to clear up a few rumors that have been circulating. Please understand that if we haven’t listed it below, either we haven’t heard the rumor or we can’t comment on it:
- There is only one casting director working on THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN films right now – Deborah Zane. As of right now no local auditions are being held. If Deborah’s name is not attached to it in some form or another, it is not legitimate. She is also not putting out nationwide casting notices. Once again – as was the case with NEW MOON and ECLIPSE – any ads you see are completely false. She has set up an e-mail address specifically for casting inquiries (BreakingDawnCast@gmail.com). We ask you please spread this news to your readers, as we don’t want them getting taken advantage of by casting scams!
- Lexicon touched base regarding a rumor about Renesmee’s name changing in BREAKING DAWN. I cleared it up with them, but let me tell you as well – it is FALSE.
- Amanda (Twi Examiner) asked about Riley’s appearance in BREAKING DAWN because it was listed on Xavier’s IMDb page. I already told her, but in case you did not see her post, Riley will not appear in the BREAKING DAWN films. It is a rumor
- Also not confirmed is anything you have heard about the US release date of the ECLIPSE DVD. We have not announced it yet, so unless it is international and confirmed by an international distributor, it is a rumour.

Breaking Dawns News – Jackson talking BD & James Franco reading Twilight???
Eonline has an interview with Jackson Rathbone when he attended the 2010 TCAs.
“I’m excited to see how Kristen Stewart really works with that. That’s going to be fun, she’s an incredible actress and, I know this is a pun,
but she’s chomping at the bit in order to play that transition.”
“I can’t wait, it’s always a reunion” Jackson told us about gearing up for back-to-back filming of the next two movies, even though he said he had “no clue” when production starts except sometime this fall.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing Bella’s transformation, that’s one of the things that has been building up for a while,” Rathbone dished, all cute all scruffy.
“I think it’s going to have to be PG-13, I don’t know how they’re going to keep it PG. [Screenwriter] Melissa Rosenberg herself has told us there is going to be sex in this movie. I can’t wait. It’s in the books and I mean they’re married, they gotta consummate that relationship,” J.R. laughed.
Now that the release date for the final Breaking Dawn films are set, Jax told us he’s more sad than excited to be free of his vampire duties.
“It’s one of the sad aspects of Breaking Dawn being the last two chapters of the film series, it was always a family reunion we all go out we all have fun. It’s sad to see it go. [Twilight] has done so much for me in terms of broadening my audience and my art form. Hell I always wanted to play a vampire, it’s cool. It’s been really fun.”
James Franco looks a little ragged along the seams at 8:45 in the morning. Unshaven. Inky at his edges and out of sorts. The brown T-shirt hangs on his shoulders like the wind blew it there. He’s catfooted and somehow goofy of gait. And that mustache is a wish.
He generally fits the bill of a vaguely hungover, Lower East Side, semi-academic hipster artist living the unraveling agenda of Tuesday-morning being and nothingness. He sits by a side door near a pail of mop water. There’s a paperback, palm-pinched, cover down, in his right hand, and a big plastic shopping bag full up with something he doesn’t want to show just yet. When asked what he’s reading, Franco smiles his ungrudgingly adolescent smile, a grin as terminally satisfying as the last healthy squeeze on a tube of toothpaste. He is engaging, for just a second, in the mutual diction of actor and artist — “It’s for a project,” he says. But the word — project — thumps out of him unprecious and without bluster, as if he were naming a day of the week. He’s always got something going. He flips the book over. Twilight.Keep in mind: The position of things is such that he doesn’t have to show the book. Had he said Jude the Obscure, no one would have been the wiser. He’s a graduate student, after all, enrolled in two universities at pretty much any given moment. “It’s crazy how much sexual tension there is,” he says. “It just builds and builds. I mean it never stops. It’s sort of explosive by the end. Crazy. Like they’ll blow up with it. And of course, they don’t.” He shrugs then, a good shrug, because he is selling nothing with it. “Which is the point too, I guess.”
Sometimes Franco goes a little hypnotic with the eye contact. What starts as a steady gaze generally transmutes into the oddly pleased squint that is his war paint, a look that allows him to play both stoner and supervillain with the same incredulous vacancy. He sighs a little, apologetic. “You probably know I have a lot of projects,” he says. “But that one is way, way off. It’s just something I’m thinking about.” He whisks at something in the air then. “Off in the distance. Way off.”

It’s been a busy year for you, how are you planning on spending your time off?
Vacation. I actually just got back from doing three movies in a row, all back-to-back. It was really cool to be a part of those projects but it’s nice to have down time, me time, dog time and family time. And I want to go to Turkey really bad. Istanbul, Iceland and Ireland. And somewhere to get away and get a tan before I have to be all pale for a while. But just relaxing because Breaking Dawn is going to be a big movie to shoot.Undoubtedly you’ll be doing lots of eating! How are you going to maintain your Calvin Klein physique?
I really believe that eating has helped my physique. I really believe being bigger… when I don’t eat or I try to be food conscious I lose weight and I don’t like losing weight. So I’m going for the steaks, I’m going for the big hearty meals, I love Indian food. Hopefully I’ll be getting some good Lebanese food. Anything and everything, I just love to eat it!You start filming in the fall?
Yes, I believe we might start rehearsals in September – fight training – and then I think start production in November until March. In Vancouver and Baton Rouge.What do you like about filming in Vancouver?
Everything! I love to snowboard, so it’s going to be good to be there in the winter. I’m going to be in Vancouver in the wintertime when I can actually use Whistler big time. I’m a big snowboarding junkie. The restaurants there are amazing. The seafood’s great, the steaks are great. We’ve been shooting up there for the last two movies, so we kind of have our hole in the wall bars where we can semi-escape.Where do you like to go?
I can’t say! Then it won’t be our hole in the wall where we can disappear to. But I love getting lost there. And we just have a really great group of actors who are real people who can just have fun.
Tell me what it’s like on set with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
Really fun, we have so many inside jokes now and again we don’t get sick of each other because these movies are only three to four months of shooting and then we’re off doing our own thing. And then we get excited to come back and it’s like a great family reunion. I can’t wait. I really can’t wait. I don’t think many actors who are part of trilogies or sagas can say that and really can’t wait to get back to the cast again. Share stories and make more memories.Do you keep in touch with your co-stars outside of filming?
Yes, that’s the really cool thing about acting. You build these friendships and anytime you can spend time with a person for months, and hours on set, you really learn a lot about someone. And you’re going to be there for a while you might as well make some best friends out of it. It’s a dream to be in an industry that’s very fickle and to find friendships.Are you excited for the saga to continue or are you looking forward to new projects?
I love it. It’s been a blessing to me. I haven’t really had time to look at what it was. Five years from now I’ll really appreciate it. But it’s opened up so many doors. It’s allowed me to mold my career in the action route, which I would love to do. I love doing stunts, I love doing action movies.
Breaking Dawn News – A little something abt BD Filming Schedule
“There are no delays,” we’re assured. “The actors arrive on set in October for rehearsal, hair and make-up tests, etc.” Shooting begins in November, and “this has always been the plan.”
“There may be some confusion because actors have said in interviews that they start in October,” explains our insider. “Prep for the actors starts in October, [but] production has always been scheduled for November.”

Stephenie Meyer’s blockbuster Twilight series is to be republished this Christmas with a new white jacket design.
The four limited-edition titles: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, will be published by Atom on 14th October as £7.99 paperbacks, available only in the UK and Ireland, and Little, Brown’s territories including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and India. The white editions will not be available in the US.
The white titles will only be published between October and Christmas 2010, replacing the usual black jackets. The titles will have crimson-edged pages and crimson back covers, with text confined to the spines.
Definitely deserve a space in my bookcase! Next to my Little Brown & Special Edition Twilight!

Breaking Dawn News – release date for BD makes news & Bill Condon doesn’t want 3D?
Seems that everyone wants to clear out of Twilight’s way! This is in response to Breaking Dawn’s release date being set on November 16th.
‘Monsters, Inc. 2′ Bumps Up Two Weeks Ahead of ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn’
No shame in avoiding the Twilight train
However, it would seem Pixar was well aware of the scheduling conflict as Box Office Mojo reports they have moved the film up two weeks to avoid making moviegoers choose. Monsters, Inc. 2 will now hit theaters on November 2, 2012, a date they currently have all to themselves. That date previously belonged to DreamWorks Animation’s The Guardians featuring the voice of Leonardo DiCaprio, but that film recently moved to November 21, 2012.
The Monsters, Inc. 2 move is a smart one. Any Twilight film should be left to its own devices and everyone else should just stay away.
And from Entertainment Weekly .
Will the final installment be in 3-D? Summit says a decision has yet to be made, but sources say director Bill Condon and Co. are opting to NOT go for a third dimension. Many of the Twilight fans have been very vocal regarding their opposition to 3-D, but with the final chapter of the saga focusing on Bella’s life after she’s turned into a vampire, it could be compelling from a story view. And the extra revenue wouldn’t hurt either.
Please let it be true – 3D is great and all but it gives me a headache!

‘Songs From A Room’ is an album by legendary poet/musician/singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen. But someone has taken the name of this record and has created a movement of some sorts where intimate performances by musicians in homes or living rooms for a small & exclusive audience. These performances are then are posted on youtube called Songs From A Room 2.0. or SoFar.
And it seems Rob Pattinson has done it as well in January this year.

Breaking Dawn News – Melissa Rosenberg needs your help to write BD Script
Melissa Rosenberg, Screenwriter of The Twilight Saga
While Rosenberg hopes that all of the characters “will be there in one shape or another,” she’s throwing the floor—or at least her Facebook page—open to suggestions. And the screenwriter notes that she definitely takes fan input seriously:
“I ask people to really weigh in with what are their favorite scenes in the books, what’s important to them. And there generally seems to be a consensus about one scene or another. It’s really helpful for me and I’ll interact with them sometimes.

I remember the first time I saw Robert Pattinson on screen. He fell off a tree an an actor in glasses said: “This is my son Cedric”. My mouth fell open from seeing such a perfect face. As soon as i got home from the theater I started researching photos of him on the internet. That’s how my passion for Rob was born, and over the years has grown more and more to the point of being the inspiration for a new character and book about him ‘El Amuleto’
