Twilight News – The Twilight Saga is one of the 100 Coolest thing on this planet!! (according to ‘The Sun’ at least)

Thanks to Twitter/Twilight for tweeting this! (whoa.. I just made a tongue twister! HA! ;) )

Cast News – Kristen Stewart in the ‘News’ (Austrian Mag) & UK Telegraph

Thanks to Twilight Poison for the heads up these 2 interviews!

First Up from Austria, where they speak German! Huge Thanks to Gotta Love ‘Em for Scans & Translation

“Hey guys, I’m no demi-godess.”

News: You are role model for a whole generation. How do you deal with all the hysteria concerning your person?

Stewart: Girls my age identify with Bella, that’s obvious. But that has nothing to do with me. These girls love Bella so much they project that onto me. I’m a rather shy person. All this hype and euphoria is not about me, but about the person I represent in the movie. I would like to clear that up: Hey, I’m not some kind of demi-godess. I adore “Twilight” as much as you do. I was just lucky enough to get the role. I’m expected o be better than the fans but I’m not.

News: They also love you as a person, your understatement and that you’re down to earth .

Stewart: People also hate me for that.

News: In “American Girl” you play a marine in training. The director predicts an Academy Award for you. Will you learn how to speak arabic? Are you interested in politics?

Stewart: Yeah, I’m very interested in that. But the focus in this story lies on a family. A girl and what she thinks about her country. It has nothing to do with what her homecountry does. It’s a tragic story. A girl without any options joins the marines and eventually lands in Afghanistan. And it’s also about how she deals with this after her return. If they are actually  gonna go through with the project then I’d love to learn arabic.

News: You are also a part of Kerouacs classic “On the Road”?

Stewart. Yes, for sure because that was my first favourite book. A great inspiration. For 25 years now the projects awais realization and I’m a part of it!! I’m really lucky!

News: Is traveling an inspiration for you?

Stewart: That’s what’s really cool about these exceptional circumstances. We travel a lot. On the one hand  I love traveling, on the other hand I nearly have to force myself to do it. Maybe that’s chracteristical for Americans since we aren’t exactly known as globetrotters. I’m a control freak and I always have to know what’s happening. I think backpacking would be therapeutic for me.

News: Pattinson was quoted that be would love to see a hardcore version of “twilight” for adult eyes only.

Stewart: He was just kidding. I, for one, wouldn’t do a porn version of “Twilight”.

The UK Telegraph, has an article on Kristen Stewart talking about how she is as a person and her film ‘The Runaways’ which will open in ol’ Blightly this September.

Kristen Stewart interview: vampire’s girl turns rock rebel

A couple of years ago, Kristen Stewart could have walked down Hollywood Boulevard unnoticed, despite having appeared in nearly 20 films. Now, because of a teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire, she cannot go out without attracting a pack of paparazzi and swarms of fans, mainly young girls.

Her role as the tortured teen Bella Swan in the Twilight films, based on the bestselling series by Stephenie Meyer, has rocketed her from being just another Hollywood-raised teenage actress to international star.

With the three films released so far – Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse – Stewart has won the hearts of legions of teenage girls as Bella, who becomes entwined in a passionate, unorthodox Romeo-and-Juliet-style romance with the handsome vampire Edward Cullen, played by British heartthrob Rob Pattinson.

The four-book series has sold

17 million copies, and there are more than 350 fan sites devoted to the stories, so the burden of expectation was high, and casting the right couple in the leading roles vital.

“It’s just surreal to be a crucial part of a machine like this,” says Stewart. “I’m sort of the vessel. These girls are obsessed with Edward through me. If I wasn’t right, I’d be persecuted and put on a cross.”

A little over-dramatic, perhaps, but it is an exciting and somewhat difficult time for the 19-year-old actress, who tries desperately to maintain her privacy while keeping fans of the Twilight saga happy. At the same time, she is reaching for roles that take her beyond the teenage romance genre.

So far, she seems to have succeeded remarkably well. Between Twilight movies (a final one, Breaking Dawn, is being developed), she has found time to star in two vastly different movies. She plays a troubled teenage prostitute in Welcome to the Rileys, which was produced by Ridley Scott and his brother Tony and directed by Ridley’s son Jake. It had its debut at the Sundance film festival this year.

“I’m asked all the time in interviews about who I am, and I know a few people my age who have a strong sense of self, but I couldn’t say I know myself and sum it up and give it to you in a little package. I don’t know myself at all yet.”

The other film, The Runaways, which also debuted at Sundance, is creating a major stir with its story of the groundbreaking all-girl rock band and its gritty depiction of the 1970s Los Angeles rock scene.

The Runaways released five albums before breaking up in 1979, and their story is the stuff of rock mythology. Their tough, sexy, jailbait style inspired a wave of female rockers and paved the way for other all-girl bands such as the Go-Gos and the Bangles.

Stewart portrays the band’s bisexual leader, Joan Jett, who was executive producer of the film and whose black hair and lean, punk look earned her fashion-icon status.

“It was tough because I only had a really tiny window of free time, but I wanted to make the movie. And I didn’t want to get any older because I’m already older than Joan was when she was in the Runaways,” says Stewart. “I just crammed it in, and hoped that it would work. And it did. It’s nice to switch to movies like this between Twilights, but I’m excited to go and do the next couple of years of Bella’s life.”

She arrives for our interview looking elegantly sophisticated in a black mini-dress with her dark hair pulled up behind her head in a bun. Yet she confesses: “When I dress up, I have to have a lot of help. I was in a T-shirt until a few minutes ago.”

Like the teenage Joan Jett, Stewart has a sullen, almost surly look, which proves to be misleading, because she willingly attempts to answer questions, thinking carefully before she speaks but sometimes finding herself unable to articulate her thoughts.

“It’s impossible to always get across what I’m trying to say, but, if I just stay honest, then I’m not going to look back on any of these interviews and wonder what I was trying to do or be,” she says.

Breaking Dawn News – Melissa Rosenberg speaks of the challenges in writing Breaking Dawn’s script

MTV News has another update with Melissa Rosenberg talking about the Breaking Dawn script.

As all die-hard “Twilight” fans know, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg is still hard at work on finalizing the scripts for the two-part “Breaking Dawn” finale, the first of which is scheduled to begin shooting in November. MTV News was lucky enough to catch up with the “Dexter” and “Twilight” screenwriter at San Diego Comic-Con, where she held court on a “Girls Gone Genre” panel. And while she still won’t reveal where the two films will break, she did give us a few details about the birthing scene and the “Book of Jacob,” as well as some dish on how she plans to handle all of the new characters Stephenie Meyer introduces in “Dawn.”

“It’s extremely challenging to introduce those new characters because you already have quite a slew of characters to service,” Rosenberg admitted of Meyer’s final book. “The Cullen family is large, the wolf family is large, you have three leads … finding room for all of them is a challenge. For me, it is about pulling forward the ones that are essential and really making sure they have a presence.”

Naturally, Rosenberg didn’t say specifically which characters would or would not appear in the films, but simply that she hopes “all of them will be there in one shape or another.”

Fans interested in checking in more frequently with Rosenberg’s “Dawn” progress can check out her Facebook page, which Rosenberg told us she checks regularly to see what Twi-hards are saying and involve them in plotline discussions.

“I ask people to really weigh in with what are their favorite scenes in the books, what’s important to them,” Rosenberg said. “And there generally seems to be a consensus about one scene or another. It’s really helpful for me and I’ll interact with them sometimes.”

CAST NEWS – Rob Pattinson in UK Glamour

UK Glamour Magazine interviewed Rob and talked ‘Remember Me’ and how it surprises him that people don’t bother him as much in England..

Q&A: Robert Pattinson

Q: What made you say yes to Remember Me; you are in the position to say yes or no to a director to choose which movie you want to be in or which movie you don’t want to be in?

A: Kind of. You get certain offers and stuff, but with this, it was before Twilight came out, and I read the script and I wanted to do another job before Twilight came out. I didn’t end up doing one, but that was one of the things I read. So with this, usually every single young guy who is a lead is often such a stock character. But Tyler wasn’t really coming from an obvious place and wasn’t ending up in an obvious place either, so it gave you much more to work with, and it could be more of a character piece. There are certain things about generic films where you have to do certain things and perform in a certain way, and it doesn’t really make sense. I think that’s why this is kind of a little bit weird in that respect, it doesn’t really fit what you’d expect from this kind of drama.

Q: With Remember Me, were there certain aspects of the character you could empathize with? He’s a guy who likes to do his own thing…

A: Yeah, in a lot of ways, I saw right from the beginning that he was quite similar to me, and I kind of tried to tailor it to be even more similar, but then the more I tailored it, the more it became a fictional creation. But yeah, I’ve been saying there’s a kind of moment where, I think it’s the end of the adolescent period, where you think that you have to be an individual so much and you want to stamp your identity on everything. I mean, you get to your early 20s and you are much more accepting of being part of the world, and not wanting to drive everything away from you all the time, and I kind of had that when I was in my early 20s.

Q: Would you ever stand up for yourself to the point where you are going to fight with authority, like the character?

A: I know, that’s what one of the main things I liked about it; there are certain things which are like fantasy scenes of mine. It was quite satisfying, even the way he fights. It was all in the script, it said he fights like a pitbull, and I was just like, ‘Yeah, I want to fight like a pitbull!’

Q: Is it a burden to you, but it opens doors?

A: It opens doors and it closes others, like anything does. You can say, ‘Oh if I was still unknown, then no one would judge me’, but at the same time, nobody would give a shit either (laughter). It’s a weird little balance. And most of the time, you are just completely guessing what you should do, so I guess I’m just doing scripts that I think are good.

Q: Did the Twilight fans make shooting Remember Me in New York quite difficult?

A: The fan situation, completely, honestly, they were lovely. They would completely respond to people saying – “Please go and wait over there or something”, even when there were tons and tons of them, but it was like the paparazzi who were unbelievable. They were like jackals.

Cast News – Edi Gathegi in X-Men & Bryce Dallas Howard intvs Xavier Samuel

Interview Magazine had Bryce Dallas Howard interviewing Xavier Samuel.

BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD: So now that you’re almost on the other side with Eclipse, how has everything been for you? It’s all been a little wild, right?

XAVIER SAMUEL: Yeah, it has. It’s kind of like being struck by lightning in a way, because it all seems so improbable.

HOWARD: Eclipse is your first American film.

SAMUEL: It is. I’ve been doing American auditions for a while, and it always felt sort of like sending these audition tapes off into the ether. So just hearing anything back from anyone was kind of startling.

HOWARD: When we were shooting Eclipse, it was amazing for me to see how the girls all went berserk over you. These girls were totally losing their minds—and much like everyone else in the cast who experiences those sorts of things, you dealt with it really graciously and wonderfully. Were you at all startled by that?

SAMUEL: I mean, it’s kind of bizarre, isn’t it? Having that kind of attention. I’m not under the microscope in the same fashion that a lot of the other cast members are, so I think I can slide under the radar a little bit more, but getting any attention at all is completely new for me.

HOWARD: Well, it’s been interesting to see how these young women have responded to you and your hair and your accent.

SAMUEL: My hair and my accent are sort of my main assets.

HOWARD: So many great actors come from Australia—I just had the great pleasure of working with one recently who you’ve worked with, Mia Wasikowska. Do you find that Australian actors are sort of like a little tribe?

SAMUEL: Yes. We hold these secret meetings, like a cult.

HOWARD: Where you talk about how you’re going to take over Hollywood? I wouldn’t be surprised—that’s exactly what’s happening.

SAMUEL: I don’t know that many Australian actors in Los Angeles, but there are a few of us. I mean, we kind of get together occasionally, but I wouldn’t say it’s an alliance or anything like that.

HOWARD: I’ve found, just from working with Australians like you and Mia and Sam Worthington—actually Gus Van Sant, who directed the film [Restless] I worked on with Mia, also noticed this with Nicole Kidman—that you guys have such a sturdiness. I don’t know if it’s just the terrain in Australia or the kind of training you do or the way acting is taught over there, but there’s a sturdiness that we as Americans could definitely learn something from. There’s also a sense of gratitude.

SAMUEL: Well, I think it’s the training coupled with the fact that the films that get made are so few and far between. In Australia, getting an audition can be a rarity. There just aren’t as many opportunities. So I guess the mentality is that you kind of give your all whenever you get a chance to work. When you put that in the American context, where you’re getting a substantial number of auditions a week by comparison, I guess your strike rate is a bit better, in a way. I mean, being in a film like Eclipse is such a great opportunity—and there’s a massive fan base with these Twilight movies that you need to respect. So I don’t think I could sleep at night if I didn’t give it my best shot.

Deadline.com has this great news about Edi Gathegi!

EXCLUSIVE: Edi Gathegi, who played a chillingly evil vampire in Twilight and Twilight Saga: New Moon, is joining X-Men: First Class in the role of Darwin. That character, the first bi-racial mutant (in the comic series), has the power of “reactive evolution,” which allows him to adapt to any situation or environment. Plunged underwater, he’ll grow gills, he’ll gain night vision in pitch black and his skin grows fire retardant when burned.

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS is a prequel to the X-Men Series -

Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-MEN.

Cast News – Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson interview on In Style Germany

Thanks to GossipDance for translation & Scans!

The Shy Rebel

Kristen Stewart wears jeans, a black and white squared shirt and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses in her hair when she arrives to the interview in the four seasons hotel in Beverly Hills. Shooting Eclipse, which is in theaters since 15th July, she was wearing brown contacts but in real life her green eyes sparkle in the afternoon sun which is shining through the window of the suite on the 12th floor. But looking deep in Kristen Stewarts eyes is very rare because her eyes are mostly directed to the floor or her hands. The actress who plays the lovesick Bella is enjoying the confusion about her person not so much. In our interview she is saying why.

Does the fame scare you?
I’m still not familiar with being in the spotlight. Screaming fans make me nervous. I could pass on that attention. I’m very, very shy by nature.

Do you have to dig yourself in the hotel because the fans siege the building?
No, it’s not that crazy. I’m reading a lot of stories about me. If they all were true I would have a horrible life (laughs).

Some fans are annoyed because you were critizing the “Twilight-hysteria” on the internet.
I don’t understand why people spend their time on forums or facebook and don’t even post something meaningful. For me there are more important things than spending hours on the computer. I love to read a book, listen to Led Zepelin, U2, play guitar or watch a play. And instead of chatting I meet my friends in person.

Such as Robert Pattinson?
Such as.

Why do you still make a secret out of your relationship?
I don’t make a secret out of it. I just don’t talk about certain subjects because most of it is interpreted wrong.

Do you read articles about yourself?
Yes, most of it is amusing. And I have to know what crime I just committed because it is guaranteed that I will be asked about it in the next interview (laughs).

What do you think about the comparison you are going to be the new Angelina Jolie?
Who comes up with that? But I don’t complain. She is a great actress and looks beautiful.

You are a role model for many girls. Also fashionable. Do you like it?
I’m not an expert. I have my own style. I buy vintage and wear old rag and funky t-shirts. I only wear things which I really love. That’s why I don’t like stylists. I want to be as authentic as possible and I don’t care about the labels on the t-shirts.

You’ve been chosen to be one of the 100 influential people in the world. How do you take it?
As long as nobody writes that I’m one of the 100 worst people I don’t care. The positive thing is that I’m now more perceived as actress. I get better offers for a role and can choose instead of taking all.

Are you scared of falling back when the Twilight-Saga is over?
All actors have that problem when they played a role for a longer time. There are two sites. On the one hand it is a huge compliment that I get when a Twilight fan always sees Bella in me. On the other hand is that I did different projects during Twilight as well.

For someone who dropped out of school you are pretty successful. Why did you quit school?
Because of the acting I had no time for it anymore. From the 8th grade on I had a private teacher. But I didn’t missed the school for one second. It was horrible and I hated too sit still in class. I’ve always been rebellious and needed my freedom. I was really relieved when I could study at home. Studying was fun. I’m interested in many things, for example writing. But school was never the right place for me.

What would you advise to young people who are interested in acting?
If that’s it what you really want you have to try. Otherwise you would regret and that would be sad.

If you wouldn’t have become an actress. What would you do today?
Writing scripts. If that wouldn’t work out I could imagine working as a property master, too.

Rob Pattinson was also featured in In Style Germany last month with the following interview.

Unbelievably Sexy

Robert Pattinson drinks tea with milk for breakfast. He switchs off the air conditioning and in exchange opens a window. During the interview in the “Four Seasons” Hotel in Beverley Hills the 24-year-old Twilight star wears a black t-shirt with beige Levis jeans. His legendary hair is cut short at the sides. That’s because of his role in the circus-drama “Water for Elephants” set in the 30th, which he shoots at the moment alongside Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz. A huge difference to Edward Cullen, the vampire, with which millions of girls have fallen in love. In the third film of the series, named “Eclipse”, Bella (Kristen Stewart) has to avow to her undying love. In real life both of them remain silent about their relationship. Robert continues to be a man girls dream about.

All your “Twilight” colleagues said that you were in love with Edward after reading the books. In love with a vampire that abstains from sex before marriage. What do you think of that?
I think that Edward’s afraid of sex (laughs). No, I kind of
understand his point of view, because the stage in which you are not sure of yourselves in a relationship is the most exciting. Maybe I’m old fashioned in this respect. There shouldn’t be rules for love. Some couples meet in a bar, sleep with each other the same evening and live happily ever after.
What do you think of girls that cry “Marry me” at your film premieres?

It’s mind-blowing but it’s just a part of my job.

You once said that you had the deepest relationship with your dog…
I was only partly serious. Unfortunately my dog, a West Highland Terrier, died last december. He was 18 years old. I love dogs and I’d love to get one again, an older one that’s already been trained. Do I want a dog that’s already perfect? That would be like getting a furnished apartment. Very impersonal.

But you’re used to that right? You only drive rental cars, live in hotels, eat in restaurants. How does it feel to be homeless?
It’s necessary. In Los Angeles I live in 5 different hotels, because after two days the paparazzi will be waiting in front of the hotel. I don’t buy a house because of that. After one week thousands of people would know were I live – that’s no home.

How is it to live in a hotel?
The roomservice’s not good for me. In London I was addicted to greasy indian chicken dishes. Now in L.A. I order 5 healthy dishes, which are delivered in the morning. I’am only able to make toast and I add barbecue sauce to everything (laughs).

Do you sometimes feel lonely in the hotel?
There’s no time for that. I’m surrounded by people all the time. On the set you ask threehundred people “How’s it going?” every day. I could easily live two months without talking to a single person.

Was it preferable not to be famous?
No, only more boring. Former I wasn’t allowed to enter clubs. Now I’m avoiding them. The four months previous to the first “Twilight” premiere were the months I partied the most. All of a sudden I was standing on the guest list of the coolest clubs of L.A. The paparazzi didn’t know me back then but all of the bouncers let me in. In London things are different. If you slip the bouncer 200 pounds, you get in, no matter if you’re famous or not. But I think my clubbing-times have passed.

Woot!! Rob likes teh susu!!!

Must have him try our ‘Teh C’ when he comes over! ;)

Cast News – Nice pic of Mama & Papa Cullen, Peter Facinelli’s Loosies & Nikki Reed’s directorial debut!

We missed this one!!

Awww they’re soo pretty!

Was tweeted by Peter Facinelli during the Eclipse press junket in LA last month!!\

And he has also tweeted another pic from his new project (that he wrote himself!) called ‘Loosies’ right now filming in Providence, Rhode Island.

Looks cool!!! Can’t wait to check it out!

Lastly, Nikki Reed has directed the music video for her friend, Sage’s song “Edie Sedgewick”

NikkiReedFan.com has an exclusive interview with Nikki Reed & Sage about the making of the video.

Have you always had ambitions to direct? It’s a lot of responsibility to take on board – was it easier or harder than you expected it to be?

Nikki: I’ve always had the desire to do more than just act, and I love the combination of being in charge but also collaborating. We had a lot of fun making the video. The biggest challenge for me was learning how take the vision that I had in my mind and properly discuss it and combine it with Sam’s (cinematographer) ideas . We also had to come up with somewhat of a storyline which is difficult to accomplish in a 2 minute video.  Last but not least of course finding the right locations and funding anything yourself is always challenging.

Obviously directing is very different from acting, was it hard to get used to your different role in this production? You’ve acted in a music video before, so did you enjoy being on the other side of the camera for once?

Nikki: I was nervous, especially bringing Johnny Flynn on board. He is an artist that I have a tremendous amount of respect for, and I wanted him to feel comfortable and have confidence in me.

The video is fantastic. Did any directors or perhaps other music videos influence you at all and if so, who?

Nikki: I’m new to all of this, although I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing people. There isn’t one specific director that I would like to model myself after, but Catherine Hardwicke is certainly someone that I admire and have learned a lot from. Niki Caro, James Cox and David Fincher are a few other’s that I love.

Here’s Fresh Blood by Eels for you to listen as you read this post! ;) Hope you guys like it.

E!Online has reported that a possible new cast member for Breaking Dawn to fill the role of Garrett – big shoes to fill especially with that HUGE speech he has to do before the battle.

And the top runner to play Garret is this guy.

Recognize him?

Yup! That’s him! He’s the ‘pie-maker’ in “Pushing Daisies” with the ‘killer touch’ and his name is Lee Pace.

The character is described in the script as a tall, nomadic vampire with sandy hair that he keeps tied back with a leather thong. Garrett is also penned as being down-to-earth, laid-back, rugged and having a lightness and element of humor about him.

“Lee is the top person in the running to play Garrett in Breaking Dawn,” a source tells E! News.

As we all know, Bill Condon is directing both Breaking Dawn films, and according to our insider, is “hoping to take it in a more artsy direction.”

Just as long as it’s not a musical, eh?

Eclipse news Taylor Lautner Magazine Interviews from Mexico & Italy

Thanks to Twilight Poison for the translation! Taylor Interview on 15 a 20 Magazine.

Is Jacob the best choice?

One of the most important questions is, Why should Bella pick Jacob? Taylor thinks for a minute and says: “I don’t know. It’s a tough choice because both guys are great, but they’e so different from each other, they’re opposites. She really can’t choose one over the other so I think I understand her situation. Even if they’re so different, they have a lot of qualities too”.
Jacob, however, does think that the healthiest thing for Bella is to stay with him and not become a vampire, which Taylor agrees with: “Jacob has this very interesting dialogue the last time he tries to convince her that she should stay with him. And she tells her ‘you don’t have to change for me’, and I think that is very big of him. She can stay exactly like she is, and not having to deal with the other stuff. She can be just Bella and be with him. Jacob tells her ‘it’s as easy as breathing’.
Since he won’t give up, he confesses his love to Bella by saying “I’ll fight for you until your heart stops beating”. So romantic! So we asked him about their kiss “Which kiss?” he asks laughing “the one where she punches me, or the one where she really wants to kiss me? The first time we kiss it was against Bella’s will, and I get punched. It was a fun scene to shoot. Well, it’s not fun to kiss someone who doesn’t want you to kiss them and is pushing you away like this the whole time. Then I get punched. But the second one as good. We were on the top of this mountain with a beautiful landscape behind us and it was a romantic kiss. That was nice!”.

A sneak peek at Breaking Dawn.

As we know, BD will be two movies directed by Bill Condon, Taylor says: “I know he’ll make a ood film. He always does. The baby will be interesting, my relationship with Renesmee. We’ll see. I haven’t seen a script, so we’ll see what they can write that is in the books. The whole Jacob/Renesmee thing will most definitely be a challenge”.

Read the rest at Twilight Poison.

ItalianTwilightMoms did the translation & scans of Taylor Lautner’s interview on Nick Magazine (Italy). Thanks to Twilight Poison too!

Who do you asks advices?
People I trust: my friends or my parents.

Do you like to take risks ad an actor?
Absolutely. An actor can hazard without jeopardizing his real life so you should take any risks possible. I admire Jacob for being who he is: a man who never quits and stands for what he believes in. I know people prefer Edward and I can understand that, he’s a really nice guy.

If you can choose movies to express your personality, which ones would you choose?
For my romantic part I’d choose The Notebook, for my fighting side I’d choose The gladiator. I really like super heroes movies like Batman or SpiderMan, I recently discovered Iron Man thanks to the wonderful interpretation by Robert Downey Jr.

Is acting “your road”?
Now I’m happy to be an actor. I’d probably be an athlete right now but acting involves both physics and psychology, so I can try so many different things. I like to write too and, who knows, maybe someday I can direct someone in a movie. But it’s too soon to talk about it.

Eclipse News – Kristen Stewart: “It Will Be Hard When I Say My Last Words As Bella”

Thanks to Twilight Poison from the scans and translation of the article by Tu Magazine.

Tú Magazine Interviews Kristen Stewart: “It Will Be Hard When I Say My Last Words As Bella”

Our meeting was amazing! She has a striking personality. Despite being so petite, as soon as she walked into the Benedict Room at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, the place lit up!

The girl doesn’t want to be a simple star caught up in the glamour and the paparazzi. She’s an actress that leaves a mark because of her work. Her attitude and casual way of dressing do not overshadow her, because as much as she doesn’t want to be special, she is! She’s naturally beautiful, discrete, but at the same time very impatient.
Dressed in white and black t-shirts (layered) with a black sweater and jeans, she greeted us without stopping one second from squirming in her chair and fixing her hair up on a pony tail, brushing it back with her hand, playing with it from one side to the other…

They say Eclipse is a darker movie, is it true?
Probably because of director David Slade, because his concept is more mature and scarier. A little bit like New Moon, but things get more complicated as far as the dynamic between the characters and their relationship with each other. And of course there’s the whole situation of vampires and werewolves trying to protect me.

Do you find the vampire world appealing?

We all find appealing the fact that vampires live forever and never age. Personally, there’s nothing in particular in vampires that appeals to me, but I love the way they are in Twilight.

What matters the most to you?
Acting, playing different characters and working with people that have more experience than me so that I can keep learning.

How much has your life changed beause of the fame?
Success has made my life a little easier, I’ve managed to get amazing things. Now people ask me “what’s next? what project are you choosing?”. It’s a privilege having the opportunity to have those questions, even if it’s hard to answer them sometimes. I owe it to Twilight. Fame looks more spectacular from the outside than it does from the inside.

Fans complain that you don’t tweet, what is your relationship with social networks?

I can’t be online because, I have to be online! I’d love to please the fans because of the way they support us, but time is not enough. It wouldn’t be enough the ammount of time I spent online with them.

Music means a lot to you. Does it inspire you when you’re on the set filming a movie?

Definitely it’s one of the most sensitive elements I have, and it’s very satisfying to work and listen to my favorite songs. This new soundtrack is amazing.

Stephenie Meyer’s Mini Fansite Junket for Eclipse (Part Two)

Fansite members doing the ' Bree beheading Scene' with Stephenie Meyer

We posted Part ONE of Stephenenie Meyer’s Exclusive Fansite Junket  last month and here’s the continuation. Thanks to Twilight Lexicon and the 4 fansites Twifans, Twilight Source, Twilight Series Theories and Letters to Twilight.

Stephenie: If I were to go ahead with it, he would definitely come up again. After his character sort of warmed he would fit into a rightly place. I don’t see Edward actively seeking him out. Having the knowledge he had gotten from Bree he realizes that Fred probably wouldn’t appreciate that pretty much, but I do see them crossing paths. I was really relieved in a way, I didn’t see anybody surviving. And so as Fred started developing it was really a relief to let someone survive and for someone you care about.

Twilight Series Theories: I just loved the introduction to the book that you did say “I was writing this and I did have a hard time that I made this decision before…” That helped me through.

Stephenie: By the end, you know, when I first started out I didn’t even think about it, I was thinking “this will be cool” it was all about the mechanics of it. And then when you start like “I have to kill her”. On set it was crazy because Jodelle is teeny. She is this little – actually she looked a little younger even though she is fifteen. My Bree in the book was grown up looking because she had a hard life but Jodelle did a really good job. They cut a scene of hers where I really think she captured her. I hope it makes it on the DVD. But, then you have Daniel Cudmore, who is – you can’t even tell in the movies but he is a monster!

Twilight Series Theories: And beautiful. (laughs)

Stephenie: He is so properly proportionate so that if you took a normal six-foot person and you blew them up. He is just so big. I remember the first time I met him I asked him like an idiot “How tall are you?”

(Everyone laughs)

Stephenie: The first time I met him, he was in the full Volturi garb with his eyes. It was impressive. So he was coming over to rip up the little girl and the difference between them was really – it made me sad. And you watch it all day because you shoot the scene in fourteen different ways all day long so they keep killing her over and over again.

Twilight Source: You know, I was saying this to Matt before and I feel like the fact that Bree’s life, how tragic it is in the fact that she dies, is a really juxtaposition to the series that we see from Bella’s perspective. Because, you always hear Edward saying, “This is a really tough life and this is not something that you want to be”.

Stephenie: And no one ever believes him.

What do you think Stephenie thinks of Angryward and Edward threatening Jacob for kissing Bella? Does she agree, does she thinks he’s hot?

Kim: Okay, we have a question about the Angry Edward, and how hot he is. When he gets angry, he pulls up, and he’s like…ya know……if you ever touch her against her will again. All the fans just love it. We all love it and everybody went crazy. The members, our members, we all wanna know about angry Edward.

Alison: Why do you think the fandom thinks Angry Edward is SO hot?

SM: Ya know it’s funny about this scene, and Meghan’s giving me the eye. That’s the one I walked out on, on the dailies because in my head that scene was so much different. In the movie Edward is quite separate motivation-ally from the book Edward. At this point in the film in the story for me he’s gotten past this. Like he’s realized “I can’t act like a teenage boy anymore. I have to give her space. I have to be the mature one here.” And in that scene in the book, he has, icy calm control. He is very gentle. He is very soft spoken. He is very mature. So when I see him….and plus ya know, the movies are unable to bring to life some of the elements in the mythology. If Edward had, in anger, grabbed Jacob by the shoulder, his arm would have come off. And the fact that Taylor is uninjured, and that he just kind of sits there…..bothered me. So I’m like…wait! If we are gonna go for it, tear his arm off. Ya know. And it’s hard for them, because blood puts you over the limit and stuff, and they would not tear off Jacob’s arm. I’m like….if we want angry Edward, I wanna see some blood. They had already filmed that day, so we couldn’t redo it but, people have responded really well to it.

Kim: That is the thing because it is different than the book.

Alison: He’s as close to a vampire as we’ve seen him, because he was so restrained.

SM: And restraint is pretty much his middle name. And we don’t have the scene early in the book, where she comes back from La Push, and he’s like “are you trying to make me insane?” He really lost it. We don’t have that evolution where he goes overboard. We have a little bit, the battery disabling. Which is really over the line, and then he’s supposed to learn and he’s supposed to stop. By that point, we’re so far in, it’s like….”why is he still acting like this?” But okay, it is hot…I’ll give you that.

Kim: It turned out well considering it was a deviation from the book, and anyway……we liked it.

Often scenes from the books are changed or left out all together for the flow of the movie. Stephenie explains how and why she picks her battles when it comes to depicting her books into movies.

LTT: When do you choose your battles? In seeing the movie and the book. You have the book, they have a vision. They throw out a line, and you’re like “They would have never
said that”

SM: It’s really difficult. Because you do have to choose which ones you won’t bow down on. And I know that even when I really say “Okay, I cannot live with that” It’s still 1 out of 10 I’ll get it. When I really throw a fit. Which is rare. It is really rare because I realize ya know, they’re making a movie. When they come to me for advice, I’m happy say things. There are very few things that I will….and its things that just feel so wrong, that there’s no other way. And some of them are such small little things that, like with the…(?) we were talking about. A lot of that was (?) related. It’s harder than you would
think. It’s funny. Some things you take for granted in movies. And it’s amazing how difficult
some things are to do. One of the reasons we were back there was because, there was one blocking issue I had. And nobody else cared, but for me, it was such a key blocking thing. It physically had to look this way. That one, I was like “I really have to have this. I can’t see this like this” & everyone was like really?

Alison: All the fans would have cared. Not one fan would have been happy with that.

Kim: Was that with the tent scene?

Alison: We heard he was sitting up, and……now. La,la,la….he’s laying down.

SM: Lying down, no that’s not it

Alison: Oh, okay

SM: It’s when they are in the sleeping bag together. How do you visualize that?

Alison: Sexy hot

SM: In the original

TST: Don’t ruin the surprise

SM: That’s the expectation

Alison: The surprise would have been, what it was

SM: The one thing I scheduled my whole schedule around in Eclipse was I had to be there for
the tent scene was number one. That was on the calendar. And I had the other scenes in
order of priority, and I had those dates booked. I was already going to Vancouver and they had a weather problem. They filmed it when I wasn’t there. So I’m like “Okay, I’m not gonna panic.” But in the original version, Jacob gets into the sleeping bag (whispers) and doesn’t touch her.

Alison: Like just his legs are gonna keep her warm from the bottom of the sleeping bag?

*chatter*

SM: It’s impossible to keep someone warm when doing that. And then you have the extra added thing. This is the girl he is in love with and he’s in a sleeping bag with her….I mean, come on. I was just
like, “what…why aren’t you touching her? Why isn’t he touching her?” People are going to freak out.

Alison: Everybody would have freaked out

SM: It doesn’t make sense that he would do that and you’d sit there and say “why? He’s supposed to be warming her up, right?” Even if you had no baggage from reading the books, you would still have the same reaction.

Alison: It’s almost like…..common sense (a bunch of mumbling) It’s great now!

*chatter*

Kim: The re-shoot worked. It was great. The emotion that was in the book was in that scene.

SM: It was interesting, because the original script for it, I was fine with but then they tweaked the script because they felt like one part of the conversation got a lot more in depth in the original we kind of already knew. You know, you have the whole rehash when Edward’s talking about “when I first met her” and they pulled that and instead went with the later part of the scene where Jacob’s like “how did you cope?” And I think the emotionality of it just went through the roof.

Kim: The dialogue between Rob and Jake, I mean Edward and Jacob

Alison: And it was so long, and I loved how long it was

SM: Yeah! I love that they just let it happen. I think that, that was Rob’s best day of shooting.
It was so funny, did you guys hear all the rumors about the problems? Rob was only supposed to be there for the last day. The first two were Jacob and Bella scenes where the wig had been a problem. The last day was the tent was the tent and that was it & it was a pretty easy shoot. The only problem for that day was that Kristen had the stomach flu and luckily, she was supposed to lay there, but between every like scene, oh, she was so sick. And Taylor, he was over digging around, grabbing garbage cans. Why is Taylor taking the garbage? Takes them over there so she could puke in them.
It was so sweet. Everybody was taking care of her and everything, but it was a hard day. You look at actors and a lot of people are like “I wanna be an actor” it’s so hard and then to sit there. She’s wanting to puke and she’s all feverish, and she’s having to do the shivering. She was a work horse that day. That was our only drama was that poor Kristen got sick, and I think it was food poisoning. But it was a great shoot. It was one of those days where at the end you’re like “We really killed it today! It’s gonna be great!” It was a great day.

Cast News Peter Facinelli on Today Show and Regis & Kelly/ Rob Pattinson in German Magazine Die Presse Intv

Peter Facinelli appeared on The Today Show and Regis & Kelly to talk about The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and his other projects including ‘Loosies’ which is his own film screenplay that’s gonna start filming this week.

Rob Pattinson did an interview with German Magazine Die Presse. Heaps of Thanks to Pattinson Online UK for the translation!!

“Recently I stood in the desert, far outside of L. A., and watched the sun set on a circus tent from 1930. Everywhere stood animals: elephants, tigers that should be loaded into a steam train. 300 extras in costumes raced around, the modern world had disappeared totally. Although that was totally fake, it still happened directly before my eyes! That was my perfect day. I would gladly experience that every day. It happens continually to me: It calls itself work. That is wonderful and more than enough.”

“Sometimes my reaction is panic”

Rob, you could be crowned the most famous actor in the world right now. How do you deal with this strangeness?

There are good and bad days. I often wish I wouldn’t react in such panic. But I believe I can separate jobs from private life very well. So far my ego still hasn’t been injured!

Currently, it is surely not simple to be Robert Pattinson. Can you believe what all has happened in the past two years?

Honestly, I have always said that it’s a subjective glimpse of the whole. For me everything feels the same as before, but there are a few aspects of my life that are completely different. I would just like to not admit that it has taken over my entire life. For myself, in my head, it’s the same as it was in the old days; I also have the exact same friends.

You are 24 and, as it is, can’t be anywhere without bodyguards at the door. Doesn’t it stink to you that you can’t lead a normal life?

Sometimes. But then I remember how my normal life was: boring.

Where do you live now, in London or in L.A.? Do you perhaps have a home?

No, I don’t. My “apartment” consists of three suitcases, out of which I live. Inside of them is everything that I need.

Isn’t that a very lonely life?

I work constantly, so I am always surrounded by people who ask me questions or give me instructions. That’s why I enjoy it if I can do something for myself. I don’t have any problems with having a two-month long period with no one to speak to.

You said once, you find that the saga, without sex, is sexy…

Yeah, I think so. Every one of us knows the time, before something happens between a couple, when you’re still totally insecure: Does the other person like me or not? That is definitely the riskiest time! This moment can last an eternity. To this sweet uncertainty also comes anxiety, especially if it’s the first time for both people. I believe this worry stirs up desire. And in this case, the period of desire lasts almost four books.

You are currently shooting “Water for Elephants” with the Austrian Christoph Waltz. How are you getting along with him?

Christoph is stunning, an insanely nice guy. He is not only a ridiculously good actor, he is also really funny, helpful, and a good colleague. I like his work ethic. I mean, the guy has won an Oscar—and despite that he is receptive, open-minded, and not the least bit snooty. And Reese Witherspoon is the same. It may be the nicest cast that I have worked with yet—a really great experience.
