Here’s what the fans who attended the Oprah taping got! Thanks RobPattzNews!
Sample B:
Here are tweets and a fan account from the audience after the taping!
RT @Courtneex3: Rob was hilarious in the video they showed of him going to random peoples houses lol! He’s like “should I just break in?”RT @Courtneex3: Soo that was AMAZING! Rob was SO funny! Dakota fanning was also there. Wow that did not just happen.
RT @Nicolediscogrll: Our gift was Bellas Engagement ring and we got interviewed by US weekly. Buy it next week!
RT @Nicolediscogrll: #Oprah: I was there. Robs havin Kristens baby, Taylor likes dorky girls (yes!), Taylor & Rob say they have no friends
RT @natalie0118: Oh and there was no time for questions so no audience questions were asked.
It’s going to be a painful wait - more than a week- to watch Rob and cast spill *we hope* Eclipse details on Oprah. The segment was taped today, but will air May 13.. which also happens to be Rob’s Birthday!
@vivian_ortiz was there, and shared the scoop with us! (a little preview to get us by)
We got in line at around 5:15 this morning and waited for the studio to open its doors. Once we were let in, we were checked in and then had to wait in a room. When we were finally seated there was a “practice rehearsal” type thing. Oprah walked on stage without her shoes on. Someone came out and put her shoes on for her
Rob, Kristen, and Taylor walked out and it was just insane. People were cheering, screaming, almost crying. There was a series of clips from both New Moon and Eclipse. Oprah announced that both Rob and Taylor went to homes last night to surprise lucky fans! Watching those clips was funny! When asked about whether or not they were dating, Rob said Kristen was pregnant.
It seemed like the filming went by so fast. Taylor’s parents were there too! Towards the end, Dakota came out. Our gift was a certificate for Bella’s engagement ring from Infinite Jewlery Co.
Vivian was also at the Eclipse screening last night, and she wrote up a review with details. Thanks so much for sharing with fans! - And check out our wrap of today’s taping, that includes a first look at a new Eclipse poster.
Alphie from Twilight Lexicon was also in the audience at Oprah. Check out her write up here!
The wait wasn’t very long to get into the theatre and the Harpo staff did everything possible to make sure you were comfortable, that you understood any regulations or directions, and that you had a clear idea of where to go and what to do. It was so well organized and efficient. I can’t rave enough about the staff and how well they did their jobs today! So here’s a big thank you to the staff at Harpo!
Now, I want you to know that my excitement over the taping of the show was always there, but it didn’t really, REALLY hit me until we were actually guided into the studio to take our seats. We came around the corner and saw the stage set up, which gave me my first jolt of “Oh my gosh, this is really happening!” But it was when I saw the Oprah logo written out in the Twilight font that I actually squealed a bit.
…I don’t want to spoil what was in the episode by giving too many details, but I will tell you that you definitely want to tune in! You’ll see some perfectly wonderful fan reactions to big surprises as well as a few things from Eclipse that haven’t been shown before. Robert, Taylor, Kristen, and Dakota each have some great memorable moments that you won’t want to miss. So, be sure to set your DVRs for May 13!
MTV’s Hollywood Crush has a round up of reviews & reactions of fans at the Oprah show who were given a screening of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – the unfinished and rough cut version. Lucky people!!
Yes, you read that right. Some “Twilight” fans have already seen “Eclipse,” and they probably aren’t you. But Twi-hards aren’t the greedy type, and quickly took to Twitter to share their wealth of information with the world. In between the “OME!!”s and drooling, we were able to pick out some pretty interesting information that of course we are going to share with you.
There had been some concern after the final “Eclipse” trailer premiered that this third installment in the “Twilight Saga” would sacrifice the love story for the action (apparently everyone forgot the first trailer, which showed us otherwise). The unanimous response was that the love story is definitely still there, and it is very hot and heavy. This means, yes, the leg hitch, the tent scene and Bella and Jacob’s kiss all make the final cut, and, as one Twitter user claimed, were enough to “get her turned on.” And yes, the scene where Bella punches Jacob is also included, though we never doubted that it wouldn’t be in the film.
But that doesn’t mean that the action wasn’t great either. This was an early cut of the film so some of the animation was still a bit off, but everyone seemed to think that it was the best action of the series. The fact Jasper was featured quickly but clearly in the second trailer’s fight scene tipped us off to the fact that he and Alice were going to be pretty prominent in the action sequences, but apparently they get a lot more face time throughout the entire film, and actually get a chance to really interact with each other. Unfortunately, Jackson Rathbone‘s wig is supposed to be pretty bad, but Kristen’s is better since the first trailer.
Breaking Dawn News – Release Date!

We have a release date for Breaking Dawn: 18th November 2011! Yup, that’s right.
A Summit Entertainment spokesperson has confirmed to HitFix that “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” will open nationwide on Nov. 18, 2011. It’s still officially unknown if “Dawn” will be broken up into one or, as rumored, two films. Stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are all expected to return.
Directed by Oscar-winner Bill Condon, the fourth book in Stephenie Meyer’s popular series chronicles Bella’s most advanced initiation into the vampire world to date, but is also seen by many as the most difficult to adapt of all the best-selling novels. Melissa Rosenberg, who adapted the first two novels, would continue in that role for “Dawn.”
Over at Twilight Lexicon, they did a brief discussion on the release date and whether Breaking Dawn will be made into two films. N/Y?

‘Eclipse’ bites into L.A. Film Festival
The annual event, which announced its lineup on Tuesday, will feature the world-premiere screening of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” the long-awaited third installment in the popular vampire franchise. It’s not exactly typical film festival fare, but organizers are hoping it will serve a larger purpose.
“If we program a movie like ‘Twilight’ that draws audiences that might not otherwise attend film festivals, hopefully we’ll expose them to other cinematic experiences that we think are inspiring,” said festival director Rebecca Yeldham.

Eclipse News – LA Times ‘Twilight’s’ Wolf Pack

Wooot!! The Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie promotion is slowly gaining momentum!! Yesterday we had LA Times feature our beloved family of ‘vegetarian’ vampires The Cullens and today they’ve done a great write up about ‘Twilight’s’ Wolf Pack!
Although the “Twilight” franchise may have helped spur the vampire craze with the Cullen brood, the saga’s gang of shape-shifters is bringing sexy back to werewolves. And in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” which hits theaters June 30, that’s no different.
“The Cullens are very reserved,” said Alex Meraz, who plays Wolf Pack member Paul. “They’re vampires, but they’re not out killing people. They’re not what they’re meant to be. Whereas the Wolf Pack, we’re through and through animals. We’re frisky. We’re fun. There’s something sexy about that.”
In the third installment of the franchise, the band of brotherly (and sisterly, as we’ll see) hirsute creatures joins forces with its rivals, the Cullens, after Seattle is plagued by a series of killings caused by an army of newborn vampires.

Alex Meraz (Paul)
“The fans are going to love this film,” he said. “I didn’t get my chance to touch anybody in ‘New Moon.’ This time I go at it with Emmett [ Kellan Lutz]. I give him a nice bitch slap. But I’m in wolf form, so maybe it’s a big paw slap?
“Oh, and there’s a lot more action. It’s more Paul wolf. You’re going to see my wolf form doing a lot of stuff. You’ll just see me running around shirtless once and a while.”
So what of all those topless scenes?
“I have a newfound respect for women. I have to keep my figure. Girls are telling me to take my shirt off. It’s like, ‘Hello! I’m a person, too!’ “
Julia Jones (Leah Clearwater)
Bryce Dallas Howard isn’t the only new face to join the burgeoning ensemble cast. Jones will make her debut to the franchise as Leah Clearwater, the scorned and bitter sole female member of the Wolf Pack.
“She’s really a tough character,” said Jones, 29. “She’s pretty angry about a lot of things that she has every right to be angry about. She’s miserable and lost and trying to cope internally without a lot of help. And she lashes out quite a bit.”
Chaske Spencer (Sam Uley)
With the media blitz already in full effect for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” Spencer said working on something completely different is a way to escape. But there’s no escaping the constant pleas for spoilers from the new flick. And like his character’s quiet, shadow-like wolf form, he only gives a whisper of details.
“This time around, Sam has to put his ego aside to take on this new breed of vampires,” Spencer said. “There’s a lot of new relationships being formed.”

Eclipse News – International Trailer (with a Slight Difference)

There is a difference to the US Version trailer that we’ve seen! Thanks to RobPattzNews for the heads up!
Notice the difference??!!
Answer: We get to see the Seattle skyline during the day (or maybe dusk).
I wonder why there is a difference in the first place. Does ‘day’ Seattle scene is supposed connote something to international fans? What do you guys think?
Breaking Dawn News : A note to fans from Bill Condon!
The Twilight Saga posted a note from the latest Director who came on board recently to direct, Breaking Dawn. Read his note below! Twilight Singapore wishes Bill and Co many success in this last journey of The Twilight Saga!

Greetings Twihards, Twifans, Twilight Moms, Team Edward, Team Jacob and Team Switzerland,
I just want to say hello to all of you and let you know that I’m stoked to be getting underway on the adventure of making BREAKING DAWN. As you’ve probably heard, I’ve been given a very warm welcome by Stephenie and Team Summit – who are super-focused, as you know, on getting these movies right.
I’m pretty busy bringing myself up to speed on what you already know by heart: I’ve read BREAKING DAWN twice, rewatched Catherine’s and Chris’s movies 2-3 times each, have all four CDs playing in my car, and have Catherine’s notebook, Mark Cotta Vaz’s companion books, and even Volume 1 of the graphic novel here on my desk – a corner of my office is starting to look like Hot Topic. I realize that this barely qualifies me for “newborn” status in the universe you’ve been living inside for a few years now, but a guy’s gotta start somewhere.
Like many of you, I’ve always been slightly obsessed with vampires, dating back to the prime-time series DARK SHADOWS, which I followed avidly as a kid. But that alone hadn’t been enough to get me interested in making a vampire movie, even though my early screenwriting and directing efforts grew out of a great love for horror movies and thrillers. Since making GODS AND MONSTERS thirteen years ago, however, I’ve been yearning for a return to a story with Gothic overtones.
The wonderful world that Stephenie has created has obviously struck a chord with you, and I don’t think it’s difficult to see why. For me, her characters are simultaneously timeless, yet very modern. Rooted in a beautiful, real landscape with a great sense of place, Bella, Edward, Jacob, and the rest of the Forks/La Push menagerie, experience emotions that are primal, and universal: desire, despair, jealousy – and it all comes to fruition in BREAKING DAWN. This is a final chapter in the best sense; not just wide in scope and scale, but emotionally charged and intense throughout.
I’m a huge admirer of the already-iconic Kristen, Robert, and Taylor, and wanted to be the one to work with them as they face the challenges of bringing your beloved characters to the end of their journeys. Really, what could be more fun than that?
Please feel free to ask questions in the comments section below, and I’ll do my best to answer them. I hope that this will be the first of many occasions I’ll get to check in with you as we set to work bringing BREAKING DAWN to the screen. I am excited and grateful to have all of you alongside me for my TWILIGHT journey.
All best,
Bill Condon
P.S. Answer #1: No, there won’t be any musical numbers
