It’s from Bella’s point of view … but, for instance, when Alice has a vision of Edward about to commit suicide, we see her vision. To me, that’s fair — because, in the book, Alice conveys that immediately to Bella, and you can see Bella imagining what Alice is saying. At points where a reader of the book might logically imagine a scenario, it was OK for the filmmakers — me — to imagine seeing something that would be outside of Bella’s knowledge at that point. Or something that’s within the scope of her imagination. She fears the worst, really, in terms of Edward.
MTV: He is very huggable. Tell us about one scene that you read either in Stephenie Meyer’s book or in Melissa Rosenberg’s screenplay that you were like, “Man, that’s going to be tough to pull off,” and tell us how you were able to figure it out.
Stewart: “New Moon” is riddled with all of that. I think it’s the one book in the series that I was intimidated by – in a good way. That’s the best feeling to start a movie with. But probably, my favourite line in the book is when I have to say to [Jacob], “It’s him; it’s always been him!” Like, I have to say that. Yeah, it killed me, it killed me.
Shirtless Taylor Lautner? In-costume Dakota Fanning? Strung-out -looking Robert Pattinson? Check, check, and check. But although the “New Moon” trailer entitled “Meet Jacob Black” gave us plenty of fun things to look at – again, and again, and again – it also continued to omit plenty.

It’s so much fun. She’s the ultimate badass. She was the first woman to start her own record label. Everybody threw her out after the and was like, ‘Sorry girl, your shticks over’, she was like ‘No, the message stays the same people still want to hear it.’
Who the fuck did that before her? The music industry is brutal. Once there’s one wave, one explosion of a type of music, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and tries to emulate that, so there’s a bunch of shitty versions of other bands. So there’s like shitty versions of everybody!
SEGN.com has had an interview with Julia Jones, who will be playing Leah Clearwater in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
On reading the books: “I got very obsessive and went through all 4 of them. In the last week and a half, I’ve read the first 3. I just finished Eclipse today. I think the books are incredible. Stephenie Meyer managed to capture a level of humanity, especially with Bella’s character. Her inner thoughts are the similar thoughts you’ve ha d in similar situations but they’re so deep down, ones that you sometimes don’t even admit to yourself.”
