Apart from the movie and the trailers, Twilighters can now download Stephenie Meyer’s books Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and The Host into their iPhone and iPod Touch.
On the 4th of July, 2009 The Twilight & New Moon cast will team up with various fansites and appear at the Vampire Baseball game in Portland, Oregon. The cast & crew will be playing for a good cause and spectators can watch Rachelle Lefevre throw the first ball to open the game. We’ve seen the changes in the lives of the Twilight Cast ie we see them everywhere! The Oregonian’s Kristi Turnquist talks to 3 local actors who were part of the Twilight cast about how the movie has changed their lives.
“Portland actors talk about their roles in ‘Twilight’, and what’s come since”
Team Edward or Team Jacob?: Fans have crushes on both vampire heartthrob Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), the Quileute tribe member who can turn into a wolf. “I’ve been asked that many times. My new motto is, I’m Team Berry Cobbler” (the dessert Cora serves Bella). I did get to meet Robert Pattinson a couple of times, and he was fantastic. I actually met his parents before I met him. I have a day job as an optician and they came in, looking to have some glasses repaired.”
How she got the role: “Well, I was kind of scared, because there were a lot of people auditioning, and I really wanted to get the part. I did the scene that I did in the movie, and then I did a few other things. I had to know the lines and stuff, and we had to make up some stuff. (Director Hardwicke) was really nice to me. She was awesome. My mom and dad read the books. I just had to read the sides (her lines) to see what kind of character Bella was.”
“‘Twilight’ definitely opened doors. I have a bunch of modeling projects lined up; I’m working on a poetry book;…”I’m interested in acting but also in going to law school and working for national urban Indian health care. I want to stop the trend toward diabetes and alcoholism, and the disparity in health between us and other people. I want to have my hands in the change itself.”
Sydney Morning Herald has a video interview with Rachelle Lefevre during her visit to Australia a few days ago for the Supanova Pop Culture Expo. She reveals a lot about New Moon and how Victoria’s character develops in it.
Q: How much are you in the second film?
Rachelle: I’m actually in it a fair amount… One of the thing that they try to do in the film that the fans really appreciate is when they condense a 600 page book.. a lot of it goes missing. But in the interest to keep it moving and put a little something for everyone they would also – I wouldn’t say embellish – but they certainly enlarge something that might be smaller and has a little more intensity in it. And one of the things that they did in New Moon is add some of the Victoria trying to get a breakthrough the Werewolf circle and what is Victoria’s journey in trying to get to Bella and why that it matters so much.
And they put that in the film – I am really thrilled! And its certainly very clear that Victoria is now out for vengeance and really about avenging the death of her lover James. And so I stuck very true to that…
Radaronline has an exclusive video interview with Ashley Greene, Billy Burke & Christian Serratos during the 36th Annual Vision Awards. Checkout Jasper’s ring that Ashley is wearing offset and her responsibilities of having a new dog. So sweet!!
Michael Welch aka Mike Newton spoke to MTV’s Larry Carroll and revealed some ‘New Moon Mini-Movie Details’:
Welch stopped by the MTV studios to discuss such far-ranging topics … and the “three-way date,” a scene that has Bella, Mike and Jacob at a movie theater, watching a horror film. But, in the grand tradition of such films as “The Player”, “Bowfinger”, and “The Purple Rose of Cairo,” director Weitz is inserting his own mini “movie within a movie” into the mix.
“The film is called ‘Face Punch,’”revealed Welch, telling us about the tongue-in-cheek movie that Bella, Mike and Jacob will be watching on the big screen. “It’s an action film.”
www.lionandlamblove.org has great outtakes of a photoshoot that Elizabeth Reaser did with Vogue Magazine sometime last year. She is beautiful in them! If only they would dress the Twilight cast like this more.
