The first New Moon poster will be revealed tomorrow. According to Larry Carroll from MTV:
I’ve just gotten word that the first poster for “New Moon” will be released tomorrow. Not some Photoshopped version your friend made on her computer, not some old “Twilight” poster with the words “New Moon” taped over the title – but the real deal!
Of course, if the whole “newspaper” concept is giving you a headache – or if you’re a shut in – there’s no need to fear. The “New Moon” poster will be online at 7am EST on finer websites everywhere, including ours.
But before the big floating heads hit, what do you want to see in the poster? Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner staring into each others’ eyes with an angry Robert Pattinson in the background? A nice shot of the whole Cullen family, hovering nervously over a bloody birthday celebration? Or perhaps a first peek at the Volturi? Say it with me: Ooooh…Ahhhhh.
According to E!Online, New Moon Debut Will Rise At MTV Movie Awards 2009. Thank you Mark Malkin for the confirmation! 
I can exclusively reveal that footage from the Twilight sequel will be shown for the first time during the upcoming MTV Movie Awards.
And that’s not all, it gets better…Awards-show producer Mark Burnett says Pattz, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Launter will hit the stage together to present the clip.

MTV reports that Justin Guarini is still hoping to be in the New Moon Soundtrack:
Believe it or not, Guarini insists that he’s not just trying to bank on the success of the franchise. He says it’s because he’s a big “Twilight” fan. “I’m a fan of the books,” Guarini told MTV News. “At the time I went in to write this song, the two other writers were talking about the books, and we got into a conversation about it. As we were writing it, we thought, there’s a new movie coming out, and so why not give it a shot? And so, we sent it in.”

Reed even took the stage for a couple of songs, playing tambourine on “Go and Tell Your Mother,” and lending some very pretty backup vocals to a track or two. “This used to be my best friend Nikki’s favorite,” Sage said while introducing one song. “I’m dedicating this to her.” Reed, who hung back in the corner of the stage as she sang along, seemed a little shy about her vocals. “Please, turn this mic off,” she laughed to the sound tech after she was on stage for a few minutes.

A St. Louis beauty salon owner accidentally happened upon one of the hottest Hollywood scripts — the pages from an upcoming “Twilight” sequel — in a trash bin.
Casey Ray found two scripts, one for the vampire sequel “New Moon” and one for a different movie titled “Memoirs.” She decided to return them to the studio making the films. In return, she was invited to attend the movies’ premieres, her lawyer said.
Ray recently was waiting for her fiance to finish work when she spotted two scripts in a trash container. She was outside a hotel where actors were staying during a St. Louis shoot for the upcoming George Clooney movie, “Up in the Air.”
It’s not clear how the scripts wound up in the bin.

There was an all-cast New Moon Wrap Party and Eclipse Kick-Off Party happening at Blue Water. All the cast members were partying in a private room at the restaurant. David Slade was there to kick things off, Stephenie Meyer also, as well as Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria), Rob Pattinson (Edward), Kristen Stewart (Bella), Taylor Lautner (Jacob), Ashley Greene (Alice), Michael Sheen (Aro), Jamie Bower (Caius), Charlie Bewley (Demetri), Dakota Fanning (Jane), Cameron Bright (Alec) and I’m pretty sure I saw Melissa Rosenberg (screenwriter) there.
I saw a couple cast members holding thick manuscripts, including Rob, so I’m PRETTY sure they were possibly giving out Eclipse scripts (with David Slade, Stephenie and Melissa doesn’t it seem possible?). How cool is that?

‘Twilight’ publisher releasing new titles tied to the franchise – EW:
According to a press release from the publisher, the Breaking Dawn Special Edition, on stands Aug. 4, will include a DVD of the Breaking Dawn concert series and interviews with Meyer. Those who pick up the hardcover book can also expect a poster and reproduction of handwritten lyrics for “My Never,” by Blue October’s Justin Furstenfeld. The Twilight Journals (pictured), out Oct. 13, are packaged in a tin and include “decorative quotes” from each book. For those hoping to buy books tied into New Moon, Little, Brown will release New Moon: The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion on Oct. 6 and New Moon trade and mass-market paperback tie-ins in September and November, respectively. They will also publish a New Moon Collector’s Edition on Oct. 6.

Finally got to spend some time with our new director for Eclipse, David Slade. And I gotta say, he’s great. Very smart, funny, creative. Collaborative and, most important (from a writer’s point of view) smart about story, character and emotional arcs. He gets it. And he’s going to make Eclipse into a fantastic movie. Took a little trip to the set of Bella Swan’s house located in South Surrey, BC Canada just outside of Vancouver. Her truck, the bikes, and the police car were all there a couple of days before, but gone now. The security on hand actually let us go take pictures on the doorstep! This was a first as usually they won’t let anyone even near the place. Lots of fun! Wicked experience. If only they were filming!

Hello! My name is Ashley and I’m in Vancouver on vacation with my friend Kiera and we had the beast twiday today! But we were definitely too star struck to ask for her picture and she was talking on a cell phone. Later that day though while walking back to our hotel we came across Dakota Fanning!! She was so sweet and agreed to pose for a picture with us and her mom even took the shot.

It was so fast I didn’t believe he was there! but then one second later, he came right back and gave Ade a hug, his BEAR HUG! love it! and they took a picture. I was next! he gave me the biggest hug!! another bear hug, took me off the ground hug! I didn’t let go, I wanted a picture also, but like I said I didn’t let go forgetting the camera was in my hand the whole time. But then we let go, I handed Ade the camera, and she snapped one and then he smiled thanking us for being there and left. They were being rushed by some people, the twilighters were waiting to see them! Can we get any luckier? They are the best!

On Friday night, the set of New Moon in New Westminster, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson filming a scene in which Kristen goes for a joyride on a motorcycle, then sees Robert/Edward appear as an apparition.
Remember Michael Copon? It was reported that he will be replacing Taylor Lautner to be Jacob Black in New Moon. Reelz Channel has an interview with Michael:
During the Ghosts of Girlfriends Past premiere on April 27th, I got a chance to talk to Michael Copon on the red carpet. You may remember him — he’s the guy who was rumored to replace Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black in the Twilight sequel New Moon.
I asked him if that was real or rumor, and he told me it was 100% true. It was a tense back-and-forth during casting, but we all know who got the role in the end. Copon told me he really, really wanted to get the role, but that he is happy for Lautner: “There are no hard feelings between Taylor and me — we are friends.”

I will tell you that I had an AMAZING time. I got to hang out with some of the awesome people from the fansites: Lori from the Twilight Lexicon, Matt from TwilightSource, Kallie from TwilightSeriesTheories.com, Kara from Twilighters Anonymous, and Kara from TwilightMOMS! (haha, two Karas, what’s the chance of that?) Everyone was SO nice. You all rule! The set visit is currently under an embargo, which basically means that we currently aren’t allowed to post anything about the visit, but we will VERY soon. More details to come.
