Here’s a new interview of Ashley Greene by The Herald Sun:
For someone who fell into acting, Ashley Greene is loving her new love, she may even have found love with co-star Jackson Rathbone.
ASHLEY Greene admits she is living a fairytale, even if, at times, she struggles with her new lifestyle.
The 22-year-old Californian has gone from a handful of bit parts to playing a lead character in the film version of Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling Twilight books.
The irony is Greene never wished to be an actor. Her dreams lay on the catwalk, but at 165cm she was quickly told she was too short to model and advised to take up acting.
Her tiny stature, however, made her perfect for the role of diminutive Alice Cullen, the sweet, psychic sister of the film’s protagonist, heart-throb Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a 104-year-old “good” vampire in a 17-year-old’s body.

With Rachelle: Day one was spent hanging out at one of the hotels that the stars are known to be staying at, not two minutes after we arrive at the hotel I see this shock of red hair. An lo and behold it’s Rachelle Lefevre! I couldn’t believe it, I had a mental block on her name and all I could say to Jamie was red hair… red hair… So we wander over and join the autograph seekers and I have her sign my book and she signed Jamie’s twilight poster. She was very gracious, and beautiful her hair is so remarkable such a vibrant red.
With Kellan: As he was jogging by we got his attention and asked if he wouldn’t mind signing an autograph for us. He consented but wanted us to move closer to the hotel entrance to do it. He’s still jogging, so we start jogging so we don’t make him wait for us. Now you must realize that I’m in 3″ heels and definitely not a jogger myself. He starts kidding around with us and running in circles around us and says that if we want an autograph we gotta catch him, I have no hope in hell in catching him and I’m worried that I’m going to trip in the shoes I’m wearing. So I retort “I’m in heels, you don’t want me pulling a Bella and falling on my face trying to catch you” . He stopped and said “No I don’t want that, I would feel really bad if you hurt yourself”. He gave me a personalized signature in my book and took pictures with us… I took the picture of him and Jamie and I wasn’t expecting a picture with him. But he opened up his arms says “Now my Bella”, and I took it as he wanted a hug. So I swoop in and give him a huge hug…. What a bod he has on him!
With Jackson: We settled in to wait for 100 monkeys … They were suppose to play at seven pm and ended up playing closer to eight thirty but it was well worth the wait. The band is great! Jackson… Is soooo hot! OMG he has that same shy boy smile as Rob and his Texas accent…..

Twilight News – Stephenie Meyer Being Sued (?!): Rumour!
Ok fellow Twilighters, there’s a new rumour concerning Stephenie Meyer and her Twilight Saga series – Production Haulted On Twilight Sequel from Max-Dan-Wiz:
According to sources, Meyer has been accused of stealing the idea for her popular Twilight series of novels for young adults and teenagers from her college roommate, Heidi Stanton. Stanton, 36, of Salt Lake City, Utah, attended Brigham Young University during the early 1990′s and was for a time during their sophmore year roommates at a campus dormitory with the alleged author, Meyer.
The Twilight novels have sold over 42 million copies worldwide, and have been translated into 37 languages across the globe. Meyer who claims the premise for her popular vampire series came to her in a dream in June of 2003. Just three short months later she had completed the entire novel with very little to no previous writing experience.
Allegations by Stanton, who is a stay at home mother to 4 children in Utah arose after she viewed the movie Twilight for the first time last week, shortly after it was released to DVD format. Stanton claims that she had heard about the novels, but with four small children at home has very little time to read for pleasure or go to the theaters to watch movies.
“Quite frankly, I was shocked when I began watching the movie with my husband last week. I immediately told him that she got that idea from me! I wrote a fictional short story with the same ideas when we were in college together.” stated Stanton.

RobsessedPattinson gathered a few sources and are speculating on whether the vampires (The Cullen Family) are done filming for New Moon.
Christian Serratos has finished filming her parts for New Moon. So that means the humans are done with filming too, I guess. According to her Myspace:

Chris Weitz was great! I can’t believe that I have been so fortunate to have worked with such talented people in such a short time. Stephenie, Catherine, Chris and more. I am so grateful! This time around I felt more comfortable letting the team know that when I was dressed as Angela, I and Angela would prefer to be dressed animal cruelty free and they obliged. They were awesome! I’m so thankful that they went out of there way to find items that did not have animal products in them. It was touching.

As I understand it, the director of New Moon, Chris Weitz, has hired Alexandre Desplat to composer the music for the film. Desplat composed the music for Weitz’ earlier film The Golden Compass. I don’t know if they’ll use any of my themes from Twilight, such as “Bella’s Lullaby”.
Pillow Biters (Oooh Pillow – does it ring a bell?) has exclusives behind-the-scenes pictures. It’s nothing much but you can see those familiar flags in the cafeteria’s window.

Summit Entertainment has made an official statement about The Twilight Saga : New Moon
Los Angeles, CA April 15, 2009 — Principal photography has begun on Summit Entertainment’s THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, it was announced today by Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Production. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. Academy Award-nominee Chris Weitz (THE GOLDEN COMPASS, ABOUT A BOY) is the director. NEW MOON is filming on locations in Vancouver, BC and Tuscany, Italy.

We continue on our little jaunt up this mammoth mountain.. Oh I forgot to say that while we were camped there literally for the last 3 days, we saw several BEARS on the road. We walk nonchalantly past all the trailers and food tents and all that an we here “Cut, let’s go again”
*big cheesy smile* I’m so obvious. We stop and look for a while and i see Rob as Edward and died a little inside. I saw Taylor as Jacob WITH short hair (HA!)and think Hmmmmm why are they both there??? (theories later)

Examiner discusses New Moon castings – Now that New Moon has Michael Sheen and Dakota, who’s next?:
Summit Entertainment has been surprising Twilight fans left and right lately with its relatively constant cast-updates of late for The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Though no official word has been given yet, we feel sure that Easter Sunday’s news that Michael Sheen will portray the Volturi Aro is as reliable as were the reports that Dakota Fanning would be joining the cast as little (but powerful) Jane.
Entertainment Weekly asks – Does the Michael Sheen ‘New Moon’ Casting win you over (or back)?:
New Moon director Chris Weitz’s “aggressive” pursuit of actor Michael Sheen — best known for playing Tony Blair and David Frost in the Oscar-nominated films The Queen and Frost/Nixon, and the Lycan (or werewolf) Lucian in teh Underworld films — is a serious hit with fans. Casting him as Aro, leader of the Volturi, a coven of ancient vampires who police (and kill) those who threaten to reveal the secret of the immortals’ existence, shows that Weitz knows what interesting characters he’s got to work with. And also, of course, that Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke got seriously screwed on her budget.
Costume design in films are important and it should be set correctly for each certain character. Can New Moon’s fashions prove as popular as Twilight? – by Boxwish.
Sam Bradley on New Moon Soundtrack:
As for the rest of us? Well, I asked Sam if he and Robert Pattinson were up to anything together in Vancouver…and he said that “yeah, we’ve written a really good song.”
I asked him whether he might be submitting his work for the The Twilight Saga: New Moon Soundtrack, and Sam says that while he “could” submit something for consideration, he doesn’t “have anything to submit just yet because if [he] was to submit anything it would need to be at a further level than where it’s at right now.” Only time will tell, Twilight fans.

British actor Michael Sheen is joining Robert Pattinson & Co. in New Moon, the sequel to the blockbuster film Twilight, a studio rep has confirmed to E! News.
Having said that, Summit Entertainment has not officially confirmed anything yet.

In New Moon, Edward’s proposal to Bella takes place shortly after Bella explains to Edward that, of all the things she could want in the world, she would want him to be the one to bring her to “the change.” The conversation, though beginning as a fairly casual one, becomes serious in the span of a moment.
While Catherine Hardwicke did not forget to incorporate that element of the Twilight saga (that is, the sudden shifts from light chatter into deep conversation between Edward and Bella) into Twilight (and, some contend, perhaps too much so), the fact that there were no three word exchanges makes it even more difficult for The Twilight Saga: New Moon to adequately present a faithful translation of the book to film.
Lastly, here’s an interview in which Rob says that he is a fan of Tokio Hotel:
Actor Rober Pattinson granted an interview and said that Tokio Hotel are great and the best option for the movie soundtrack “New Moon”. In an interview with American magazine has shown that the actor is a fan of the band Tokio Hotel.

Last night I received an email with a few images about a possible set location for New Moon. Judging from the pictures, it looks awfully close to the meadow scene where Bella meets up with Laurent. Who knows, it could also be the scene where Bella is alone in the woods after Edward leaves her. What do you think?

“To preserve the content of the material you’re trying to capture, with such a large fan base who know the nuances of the books so well, you have to go over-and-above ordinary means of protection,” co-producer Bill Bannerman explained.
“It’s to give the director and the group the space they need to work,” he said, adding the fan fervour is understandable. It’s the nature of the beast. They analyze and want to know, but you’re building a film one shot at a time. So when people see only one piece of the puzzle, they might take it out of context. It only represents two per cent of the grander scheme.”
Will Michael Sheen be Aro in New Moon? The Daily Mail reports:

Now actor Michael Sheen is set to return to the realm of the firmly fictional after agreeing to play a vampire in the sequel to the blockbuster film Twilight.
Sheen, 40, who made his name with uncannily realistic portrayals of well-known figures in Oscar-winning films The Queen, Frost/Nixon and The Damned United, will get his biggest pay cheque yet, a reported £5million, to star in New Moon.

Two fans who drove all the way from Minnesota to Vancouver to ‘stalk’ the New Moon set. And on their first day in Vancouver these girls had a chance encounter with Kristen on the eve of her birthday – IN THE TOILET!!!
“We go to the bathroom and as we are peeing Trina says to me; “How funny would it be if Kristen Stewart walked in the door right now?” To which I reply; ”hilarious” we go to the sink to wash up and Trina ineffectively tries to wash her hands with mouthwash LMAO and we do a little touch up in the mirror. Not 10 seconds later and I put this on my life, the door opens and Kristen Stewart walks in. *jaw drop*!”

Just a little more tidbit today! Lainey’s got some great pictures fresh from the New Moon Set - during filming of a parking lot scene. Mike, Jessica, Eric and Angela are there too! Check them out! And note there’s one picture where they’re shooting an intimate moment between Edward and Bella! NICE!!
Here’s a couple of videos from Monication @ twitter and Hollywoodrift @youtube posted earlier today! Its a scene of Edward walking in the parking lot. Looks like they may be using a new car for the Cullens.. no more the shiny silver volvo (cos Tyra gave it away to a screaming Twilight fan last year! Watch the Shiny Volvo giveaway here: Part 1 & Part 2) It looks a lot like the one they used at the Tokyo premiere, the Volvo XC90s in black! Its pretty exciting seeing footage of these scenes and figure how they work out in the movie when we see it later this year!
Note of warning – Please mind the language in the videos..the girls are excited seeing Edward in the flesh! Walking! Nonetheless Enjoy! Thanks to ydelbaby from imdb!

Will the hype for New Moon eventually hurt the Twilight stars?
Interestingly enough, Taylor Lautner looks to have a free pass, for now, in terms of a hard Twilight stereotype since his star is currently on the rise and he and Jacob Black weren’t heavily featured in Twilight. Strictly in terms of shaking off the dreaded pigeonhole and not letting Twilight, New Moon, and future movies define their careers, the fact that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Nikki Reed are looking beyond New Moon and the Twilight franchise is smart on all of their parts. Throughout the decades it’s happened to many a popular actor. Just ask Davy Jones of the Monkees in the ’60s and Mark Hamill of Star Wars in the late ’70s and ’80s. At the other end of the spectrum, Daniel Radcliffe is the current Litmus test to see if he can shake off Harry Potter as he gets older. Still, these types of opportunities don’t come around often for many actors, so it’s not necessarily a bad thing to be “that” franchise anyone.

Is Justine Wachsberger our Gianna for New Moon? According to IMDB, she’s been cast as Gianna. So far, there has been no official confirmation about this one. Gianna is the human secretary who works for the Volturi, hoping to join them someday and be a vampire. The previous New Moon casting news was Jamie Campbell for Caius.
Radar Online with Robert Pattinson’s Vancouver Cravings:
Manager Jan Wichmann told RadarOnline: “They have visited us about four times and Robert really loves our Global cocktail. It is a mixture of Martini, Vodka, Alize and fruit juices. He had several of them the last time he was here and he left in a very good mood.”
“Robert also enjoyed our special spaghetti dish which we make with Kobe beef meat-balls – he has ordered it each time he dined with us,” Wichmann continued. “All the cast members who visited us were very friendly but we are used to having actors pop in because there is a lot of film production in Vancouver now. Robert seemed like a very chilled-out guy and despite the fact he is well on his way to becoming a huge star he was very polite and well-behaved.”
