    1) Vampire kiss montage!!
Oh god, i didn’t see THAT coming, Edward grabbing Bella from behind and attempting to bite her. Oh yes, that was fabulous! I think it was a scene from Midnight Sun, huh?

    2) Carlisle and Esme’s kissing scene.
SO HOT AND ROMANTIC! My gosh!! ” It’ll all work out, somehow. ”

    3) Edward’s Piano Concert
I really enjoyed it! Rob’s such a great musician. I cannot figure out what he is playing BUT STILL, it was so sweet.

    4) Audio Commentary
Oh gosh Rob was so hilarious here. ” Hey we have similar eyebrows! ” LOL and he talks about himself being like an anime character!! Cute!!

    1) Vampire kiss montage
I seriously DIDN’T SEE IT COMING. Oh gosh, Edward grabbing Bella from behind and attempting to bite her?! HOTNESS! Rob’s got that ” I want to kill you ” look. A scene from Midnight Sun! Gosh. Oh the part where Carlisle changes Esme and Edward, Coolness!!

    2) Edward’s piano concert.
I truly enjoyed it although I have no idea what Robert is playing. (His version of Bella’s Lullaby, probably)He is so talented, OMR!! The piece was so sweet. Ah. Gosh.

    3) Carlisle and Esme’s kissing scene
OH MY GOD! IT WAS SO HOT AND ROMANTIC!! I think it should be in the movie though, they ignored all the Cullens and this would be something to fix it. It just gives it a feel of how close the entire family is.

Esme: Carlisle, Bella is what he wants. It’ll all work out, somehow.
    Carlisle: You’re hopelessly romantic.

LOL…I LOVE how totally fangirl Catherine is about the books and making the movie! She’s hilarious and SOOOOO enthusiastic about EVERYTHING…and juz throws herself into the directing with such fervour!
Notice her wearing the nurse’s cap in the hospital scene? Or the (what else?) baseball cap in the baseball scene?? And how animated her speech always is??? :)

Edward’s Piano Concert was the featurette I was most looking forward to….”Piano Edward” is my laptop screensaver, after all…and there’s juz something about Rob tickling the ivories that tugs at my heartstrings… :)

there’s no official blooper reel although there are many bloopers and blunders mixed into each behind the scenes special features.

  5. Haha, I was half-hoping that the extended scenes would be in with the movie, so that it’ll be easier to watch and process everything. The audio commentary was really funny with Rob speaking like Catherine at the end!

& Jasper with his baseball bat tricks was really cool! I think I’m quite a sports junkie.

I agree with Kelly, scenes that depicted the Cullen’s bonds were not in the movie and it should really be in it.

On a whole, I really knocked myself out with the Twilight DVD. I was glued to the tv for hours and couldn’t stop laughing while watching the audio commentary. From watching Catherine comment on the various scenes that didn’t make it into the movie, I found out that she is actually pretty cool and sweet. My impression of her before was way off. Catherine was really devoted into making Twilight as similar to the book as possible and it’s great that Catherine and Stephenie Meyer gave and took to make the movie awesome.

I honestly hadn’t realise where all the soundtrack fitted in besides some of the obvious ones like Full Moon, Supermassive Black Hole, etc. Only when I watched the movie thoroughly at home and heard the actors and directors’ comments that I noticed Rob’s song in the background in the dinner scene at Port Angeles, I Caught Myself in the scene where Bella, Jessica and Angela went to the dress shop, etc. (teehee!)

    YAY TAYLOR LAUTNER:D!

  6. I think my most favourite part will be the scene of Carlisle and Esme.. We see too little of them in the movie. Its a nice scene where the “parents” feel happy for their “son” as their son has found the partner after more than a century. Whatsmore, with their kiss, it makes the scene looks so sweet…i wish it was in the movie..

& i have to agree with Pameline..i wish there is the official blooper reel. It will be fun…
Anyways, too many good points that can cover the tiny weeny bad point..hehe..So, lets enjoy the DVD people..

I’m in love with the Edward’s piano concert. It’s just so nice to watch.

I like the deleted and extended scenes and I realized that if all these scenes are included, the movie will have a diff impact to it. I can’t find the right words exactly to describe it but maybe perhaps more intimate and animalistic? (hahaha) than the original sweet and romantic movie that we are in love with.

I’ve yet to watch the audio comment. coz i’ve been too busy with work. WILL FIND TIME! WILL FIND TIME!

And I have to agree with the inclusion of bloopers scenes. It’ll be fun to watch.

What’s the difference with the Extended and deleted scenes? Isn’t it the same as in they got cut from the movie?

I have been watching it like 3rd time now and i absolutely love most of the extras. I have to agree with the Carlisle and Esme scene. Hot. Hahax.

Erms.. Catherine Hardwicke’s “Bella’s Lullaby Remix” Music Video.. to me is not that interesting.. its a ok-ok.

But the Vampire Kiss Montage, oh gosh gosh gosh.. =D

AND I CAN REPEAT PARAMORE’S DECODE MUSIC VIDEO OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! YAY!

Extended/Deleted Scenes are mostly more into character development. These cut-out scenes are somewhat essential but due to certain reasons, bla bla bla, they are unable to put it in the film.

Sometimes, during your first take on a scene…it might not seem right or there is a need to change the dialogs, etc. So these are actually known as cut-out/deleted scenes and it will eventually be replaced by a new take.

For extended scenes, these are known as basically a longer version of a scene that you see in a movie. Most of it will be compiled into a collection of extended scenes and you’ll get to see in it the DVD.

Yeah and once you’ve watched the deleted scenes you can actually understand why it ended up on the editing room floor – it was just not necessary for the development of the scene or character as Izzatee has said. That is if you compared it with the final product. Seriously, a lot of discussions goes on behind the scenes and usually directors, editors and producers have a lot of input on what gets cut and stays. Each of them must’ve have watched Twilight over and over and over again.

But then again having said that.. lets wait – Summit may release a Director’s Cut and we’ll see what Catherine Hardwicke’s take. :)
