Here is Nina’s account of her ‘dinner experience’ with the Twilight cast!
“Im Nina Reyes, Abee’s friend. We are currently pursuing our masters degree in Japan.
Yep, I’m such a lucky girl… I didnt expect such luck will happen to me on that very rainy Friday. When I posted my photos in facebook, all my friends emailed me and expressed how envious they were upon seeing my picture. hahahaha.. some of then even suspected that I photoshoped the pic. hehehe.. such a pathetic suspicion..
Anyway, let me recount the story behind that one day fantasy. I used to visit Robert Pattinson’s fan sites and one day I saw the advertisement about their fan meeting in Tokyo. I immediately told Abee about it and she searched the details of the said event. We enlisted ourselves for the fan meeting thru email. The next day we got the confirmation that we can attend the meeting and we were even allowed to bring a friend with us.
Come Friday, we arrived at the Ebisu Garden place around 11am to get our passes/ID for the fan meeting. At 230pm, we started to line up for the red carpet arrival and waited for 2 hours under the cold weather and heavy sleet. When the stars arrived we did not have the chance to have their autograph since it was really really crowded. After the red carpet arrival we headed to the fans meeting venue.
We were kinda shocked upon seeing that they held the meeting in a small venue as only a few people were given the chance to attend the event. As the host mentioned, out of 2000 people, only 75 were chosen for this up close encounter with the stars. Although I already know that there will be a suprise dinner for 6 lucky people, the thought of getting it never really crossed my mind.
When the 20 seat numbers were randomly called, I was so surprised that my seat number was included in the list. I went out of my mind that I even forgot that my friends handed me all their twilight memorabilias so as to have it signed if in case I’ll be included in the lucky 6.
The lucky 6 were chosen thru “pulling the strings” thing. It took me around 5 seconds to realize that the other end of the string that I was holding belongs to Robert Pattinson!!!! OMG!!! I was in deep ecstasy that moment that I cant remember how I managed to go to the dinner venue (btw, the dinner venue is the building, though im not sure if its a hotel, in front of the red carpet arrival). We were escorted by the organizers in a function room designed for the dinner. We settled down for awhile and waited for the twilight stars to come (btw, its televise but I dont know what channel). All of us were still in shock and so overwhelmed by the fact that we’re going to meet 3 of the the most sought after people nowadays. After 5 mins, the stars entered the room and stood beside us (robert pattinson on my left and kristen on my right, holy crap!). Though I felt that my tongue got terribly twisted, I was able to say a few words to robert, that is, “I just saw you in the Oscars awards last Sunday and now I cant believe that Im sitting right next to you”, and then he answered with a grin “o really, you know I was so nervous at that time”. Our conversation was cut short as they were requested to roam around and talk to the other lucky ones.
I was also able to have a short talk with taylor lautner who was sooo friendly and perky. I asked him about his preparations for the new moon movie and he told me that he hit the gym everyday to gain some weight and muscles since the Jacob role requires him to look very masculine. He even told me that if sum1 will ask whether I belong to Team Edward or Team Jacob, I should answer “Team Jacob” (I didn’t respond on this since Im really a die-hard robert pattinson fan.. hehehe).
I didn’t get the chance to talk to Kristen since there was only a few minutes left and I havent got an autograph from Robert. So after a pic with Kristen, I headed immediately to Robert to ask for a photo with him and have all the twilight memorabilia autographed. He even asked for my name and put a nice signature on the memorabilias. Before they left, they bid a nice farewell to us.
So there was my brief but truly memorable encounter with the stars.

Wow! You guys had dinner with the Twilight cast. Rob and is real down to earth guy, very charming. Kristen can really do anything she puts her mind to…even speak Japanese. Taylor is a sweet guy…friendly. You must of had the time of your life, lucky girl! Thanks for sharing with us!

A.As I’ve mentioned, I was not able to have a long chat with Rpattz bec. of time constraints but he seems to be nice, humble and little bit shy. Of course, he’s so handsome!!!
Kristen is a cool girl. I think she’s nice too though she appeared to be kinda bored in the photos. She did a lot of thing with her hair (maybe its her mannerism).
Q: What did Robert talk about before, during, after dinner? In other words, please tell us anything he said during the dinner meeting!
We only spent around 5-10 mins with them for photo ops and autograph signing. I think I should make it clear: the dinner is just for the 6 winners. I heard that the twilight stars had a separate dinner with the organizers.
Q: How long did the dinner last?
About two hours but as I’ve said they did not eat dinner with us.
Q: What happened overall during the meeting?
Just a little chat and autograph signing as well as photo ops. The time allotted was so limited so all of us didn’t manage to have a long conversation with them.

Nope they did not eat with us. Aside from the brief moment with the twilight stars, the food was part of our “grand prize”

He’s drop dead gorgeous..very hot indeed!! he smelled okay, contrary to what he’s telling in his interviews that he’s not so hygienic. His hair is color brownish gold. I was totally speechless when I saw him. Oh I was able to tell him to visit the Philippines if he has time. He gave me a nice smile in response.
Kristen is beautiful and petit. We have the same height so I think she must be standing about 5’3 -5’4 ft. I think she’s approachable as she willingly posed for a photo with me and even gave me her autographed (or maybe bec. its part of my prize, hehehe..anyway, I still give her the benefit of the doubt) .
Wow, what a truly amazing story. It’s almost like destiny! It seems like everyone on this site has had such amazing luck with running into the cast! I don’t even know what I’d do in your situation, probably faint and make a fool of myself.
I’m so happy you got to speak with Robert and that he was friendly. Taylor also always seems like such a sweetie.
Did you actually get to eat dinner with them or did they leave before the food part? When I heard about this, I thought it might be awkward if it was 9 of you sitting around a table chatting.

oh and in response to Robert’s scent—did he smell of cigarettes? I’d imagine he smells like an ashtray.
Ignore my question about whether they ate with you, I now see the answer. It’s crazy to think that the whole Hugh Jackman Karaoke thing happened soon after your meeting.
I feel bad for Taylor. I don’t think he gets enough credit. He’s a good looking kid but he doesn’t get all the attention that Rob does.I also think Taylor did a great job acting wise.
I’m glad Kristen wasn’t too unpleasant. She always makes her public appearances seem as bad as going to the dentist.
