Kristen: I like Edward he’s a very interesting character. On the outside he seems very confident, handsome. He’s the ideal man everybody wants. But he’s all alone. All the girls want him because they think he’s perfect, but he’s not.

Alright you guys! Before we announce the results, we’d like to give a shoutout to those who took part in the Movie Stub Contest! Due to the huge difference in the number of ticket stubs entered between the 13 entrants, we – the staff, have agreed on the following points system. It was a difficult choice for us to make as we all wanted to be fair as we possibly can to all entrants. All 5 of us went through each of your answers thoroughly and gave points independently.

Was looking out for this when I saw that Radiohead was listed to be performing in the 51st Grammy Awards.
RADIOHEAD was nominated among others for Album of The Year & Best Alternative Music Album (Vocal or Instrumental) for their album ‘In Rainbows’. And guess what!! THEY WON 02 GRAMMYs for Best Alternative Album and Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package!!! ’15 Step’ is the 1st song on that album!!
’15 Step’ is the unforgettable track for the closing credits of Twilight the movie during which you can also watch the outtakes and deleted scenes of the movie.

Copies of Breaking Dawn, the latest book in the four-part series, flew off Australian bookstore shelves at a rate of 19,800 copies each week during January, according to Nielsen Bookscan.

Twilight Book Discussion: Nightmares
Apologies for the delay. Bessy is busy with school work so I volunteered to help her out. This week we will be touching on Chapter 7: Nightmares. Happy discussing!
First, I had to decide if it was possible that what Jacob had said about the Cullens could be true.
Immediately my mind responded with a resounding negative. It was silly and morbid to entertain such ridiculous notions. But what, then? I asked myself. There was no rational explanation for how I was alive at this moment. I listed again in my head the things I’d observed myself: the impossible speed and strength, the eye colour shifting from black to gold and back again, the inhuman beauty, the pale, frigid skin. And more – small things that registered slowly – how they never seemed to eat, the disturbing grace with which they moved. And the way he sometimes spoke, with unfamiliar cadences and phrases that better fir the style of a turn-of-the-century novel than that of a twenty-first-century classroom. He had skipped class the day we’d done blood typing. He hadn’t said no to the beach trip till he heard where we were going. He seemed to know what everyone around him was thinking… except me. He had told me he was the villain, dangerous…
Could the Cullens be vampires?
Well, they were something. Something outside the possibility of rational justification was taking place in front of my incredulous eyes. Whether it be Jacob’s cold ones or my own superhero theory, Edward Cullen was not… human. He was something more.
1. In the first part of the chapter, Bella was playing a CD of Phil’s favourite band. “… they used a little too much bass and shrieking for my tastes.” Without using your knowledge of what you know about Twilight, what type of genre or band did you think Bella was listening to the first time you read this chapter?
2. In her nightmare, Bella saw Jacob transformed into a werewolf and Edward with sharp teeth beckoning her over. So why do you think she dreamed of Edward and Jacob in that particular way?
3. Bella was reading Pride & Prejudice in her lawn. Stephenie mentioned that one of her inspirations to write Twilight was Pride & Prejudice. In your own opinion, why did Stephenie regard P & P as one of her inspirations for Twilight?
4. It was mentioned that Bella felt awkward having a conversation with Mike. On the other hand, she felt more at ease talking to Angela. Why do you think so?

Alright, will this be possible? 90210′s AnnaLynne McCord to be cast as Heidi in New Moon? Read this E!Online’s Exclusive:
I’m hearing that filmmakers have been considering the idea of casting 90210 star AnnaLynne McCordas Heidi in the upcoming New Moon, the much-anticipated sequel to Twilight.
Sources tell me McCord has auditioned for the role. “It’s not a big part,” one of the sources said. “Heidi would be more like a cameo.”
McCord should feel pretty comfortable on the set. Her 90210 costar Kellan Lutz—and rumored real-life boyfriend—played Emmett in Twilight and will return for the sequel.

March is gonna be a GREAT MONTH!! Why?
Three Good Reasons:
1) New Moon is reported to start filming,
2) The Twilight DVD will be released on March 21st,
3) On March 17th, Little Brown & Company will be releasing Catherine Hardwicke’s book, “TWILIGHT: Director’s Notebook”
Hollywood Insider(EW) reported ,”The book will include inside secrets on casting, location scouting, and wardrobe — plus behind-the-scenes photos, personal notes about Hardwicke’s favorite scenes, and more. “With this book, I tried to show fans and future directors some of the process that the crew and I went through filming Twilight,” said Hardwicke.”
So mark your calendars!

And since we’re in the subject of filmmaking – I’d like to mention about Maggie Parke. She’s from the US and doing her PhD @ Bangor University in Wales studying fantasy literature adaptations (the process of turning a book into a film, a video game etc). As she said on her blog, she’s basically getting a PhD in Twilight(!!!), Harry Potter, and The Lord of the Rings. She was on the set of Twilight last year and she’s been involved in a lot of events leading up to the movie’s release.
Here’s an excerpt from her blog:
“I like the point that Catherine makes in the video about one look that an actor gives another actor in the film can cover twenty-five pages of text from Stephenie Meyer. Because of this, they are able to add extra scenes and dialogue in order to develop the characters and keep us interested (i.e. not having five scenes in the Bio classroom; instead there may be three scenes there and an extra scene in a greenhouse for visual diversity). We don’t have twenty-five pages of text to get to know the workings of these character’s brains. Instead, we have time and observation. Much like how Edward can’t get into Bella’s head, we have to find other outlets to get to know these characters like extra scenes with them… because unlike the novels, we can’t get into Bella’s head either!”

When May comes, filming will begin in…Volterra!
“Twilight” sequel “New Moon” has landed its first overseas sale, to Italy, where the Chris Weitz-helmed vampire romancer is partly set.
Eagle Pictures, which released “Twilight” locally, announced on Tuesday that it has reupped with Summit Entertainment for the sequel, which will shoot in the ancient Tuscan city of Volterra for two weeks in May.

We’ve heard news that Lionsgate might buy Summit Entertainment? Check out these two articles by The Wrap and /film respectively:
Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment are in talks to merge their two companies, according to two people familiar with the negotiations.
The plan, if the deal goes through, is for Lionsgate to buy Summit’s library of six films and the rights to the “Twilight” franchise. Early talks last year involved the merger of only the domestic divisions, under the terms of the reported deal. Source.
According to the report, Lionsgate would pay Summit an amount worth nearly two years of operation costs, in exchange for the rights to Summit’s library of six films, a cable distribution deal through Showtime, and most importantly, the rights to the Twilight franchise. Source.

Born in Wichita, Kansas, Solomon Trimble started performing at a very early age. Apache and Lakota Indian, Trimble has studied dance, guitar and voice, and even has a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics. After trying his hand at acting for a few years, he was brought to the attention of mass audiences in the role of Sam Uley, in the vampire flick Twilight, one of the top-grossing films of 2008.
