Twilight Coverage in Tokyo: Day 2
Here are our Day 2 events!
We arrived at the airport at 2.30pm and we walked around the terminal to check if there were any other fans who had arrived but there were no significant group who looked like they were waiting for a movie star. Rob’s flight was scheduled to arrive 3 hours later. GUESS WHAT? He travelled on our own national carrier, SINGAPORE AIRLINES from Los Angeles. HEHEE.. 
SO PROUD!
So we went to ‘makan’ (eat) first and then went to check our site on the internet for the latest news on anything Twilight. Then we saw the picture of him leaving Los Angeles, ie. white T-Shirt, Black Hoodie & black pants and those famous Ray Bans. So then we knew what to look out for. After that we went back to the Arrival Hall and we found more girls standing around. We approached 2 girls and said hi. We asked for who they were waiting for and they said ‘Robert Pattinson’. And we said “US TOO!” Here’s a picture of them.
The one on the left is Mayuka from Tokyo and Aki from Osaka. They’ve just met an hour before. Aki travelled 4 hours from Osaka earlier this morning and she will be staying in Tokyo till the Premiere. They made banners for Rob, which was cool. We chatted with them and we asked if they had a Japanese fansite for Twilight. But they replied that they didn’t know of any. We think that they should start one.
Later on, we finally met Tomomi from Kadokawa who directed us to the Press Pit. THANK YOU!
I was in charge of the video camera and went into the fan line, while Maria stayed in the Press Pit for the still photos.
Here is the fan situation at 4pm. Rob doesn’t arrive till about 2 hours later.
So we went to mingle with the fans and checked out what they brought…
While waiting with the fans, a local news crew came to interview us coz they found out that we came all the way from Singapore to cover the event. We don’t know when it will be coming out on TV, but we’ll keep you posted.

These girls did such a GREAT job with their banner.. I LOVE the way Edward is looking across the board at Bella. Haiz…
See anything familiar? Check out the wrist of the girl on the right. HEEES….
We later found out that some of them were waiting for Rob and others were waiting for another HUGE CELEBRITY…

First celebrity makes his entrance….
MR. HUGH JACKMAN!!!
Apparently, he was on the same flight as Robert after all of the Oscar parties. 
He is in town to promote his latest movie, Australia.
He moved down the line of awaiting fans to sign autographs and shook almost everyone’s hands including MINE!!!! [AISHAH!] HUGH JACKMAN SHOOK MY HANDS!!! I said, “Hi! I’m from Singapore.” Then Hugh answered, smiling, “Oh, hi! How are you? [He smiled wider.] I’m from Australia.” HE FRIGGIN’ REPLIED ME!!!!
*okay Maria here..have to takeover cos Aishah is hyperventilating at this moment and may have just peeed in her pants…*
She’s back!
And now, the MAN OF THE HOUR. *Jeng… Jeng… JENG!!!*
Robert, a great smile on his face [with a day old stubble] came out and headed straight to his Japanese fans.
He immediately started signing autographs and posed for all those cool Japanese mobile phone cameras.
See how he reaches out for them! Look at that body language!! SOO NICEEEEE!!! SOO SWEEEET!!! YOU JUST MADE US LOVE YOU MORE, ROB…
Sorry.. A bit blur here.. But you can see that he’s diving in to sign for his fans..

And that’s the last photo we have of him, cause he was directed straight towards a special VIP exit. He flew by us so swiftly (Me, near to the end of the fan line and Maria who was in the Press Pit).
But seriously, despite that, it was DAMN WORTH IT! Don’t despair because we still have a video too! Its in its editing process and we’ll post it as soon as we can. We do apologize for the poor quality of the photos, but we hope you guys enjoy them just the same. 
We want to say ‘HI!” again to the Twilighters we met at the airport. Anna, Patricia, Molly, Aki and Mayuka. See you guys in Friday at Ebisu Garden!
Okay you guys, we’re not sure exactly when Kristen is coming, but we were assured that she will be here for the Premiere. Until then, me and Maria won’t be updating about the cast because we would be sight -seeing around Tokyo, UNLESS that is we see them sight-seeing too. *CROSSING FINGERS AND TOES*

@ Cassie: We think that the blonde lady is Stephanie Ritz, Robert’s agent and Nick (We don’t know the last name), is his Manager. You can see him almost everywhere with Rob.

Great site guys. So dedicated to twilight. I’m a fan of twilight too and I just stumbled on this site after reading a post by twilightsource.com.
You guys are so lucky to have been there and see him in person and all. And Hugh Jackman too. I’m sure you’re not gonna wash your hands right? haha! LOL! I really liked ready this/seeing these photos, too, because it’s nice to see Rob get to be around some decent fans. I mean, he was actually able to go up to the fans… over here (in America) he is actually in danger if he gets too close to the mobs of fans because they act like a pack of rabid wolves (pun intended).

Aishah and Maria….your coverage has been nothing short of SUPERB!! I’m totally getting the excitement and mania as I read your accounts and having waited at the airport before to meet my beloved Osmonds last year, I can absolutely agree that the feeling is WONDERFUL…esp when the star(s) arriving are SO NICE….I was on Cloud Nine for days on end after that!

Hey there Good Morning!
We’ve are starting out early today to check out some places.. Yup I’m taking Aishah to Asakusa’s Sensoji Temple and maybe get sumore of those fortune cats and then to the Imperial Palace. Then hopefully to Ginza and check out the Swarovski flagship store where they have the crystal forest and then to Ueno to get Nasyita her wasabi peanuts and other tidbits. We’ll try to cover all since Aishah couldn’t go to Disneyland cos it is just soo cold out.

I have noticed that the same woman (blond hair) that is following Nick and Rob, is she his agent, Stephanie? It must be his agent! Anyone able to clear it up?
Will Robert, Kristen, and Taylor returning to LA by next week? Before we and they know it, it will be March 27th and filming in Vancouver. On IMDB.com, it states that they will be in Rome and Los Angeles. Why Rome? It should be filmed in Volterra just like in the books!
