[UPDATED] Twilight Coverage in Tokyo : Day 5 – Press Conference
HELLLO!!
Today we had fun and soo much excitement, and time flew by so fast [DARN IT!]. The cold day started with snow and we were worried that the weather would become worse. 
It stayed bad with rain instead, but the event was far from being cancelled. So Yahooo! We arrived at Ebisu Garden and took our place in the press queue.
It was c-cc-cold in the queue.

Taylor: Hello. I want to say thank you for having us here. I’m very excited. This is my first time to Japan and I’m loving it so far. And I would love to come back. So thanks for having us guys.

Robert: Kristen has beaten me once again. Thank you to Tokyo for being so accommodating for us. I hope the film does pretty well here and I’m having a great time in Tokyo. Mina-san Arigato!

The press conference ends here (LOOK OUT FOR THE FULL VIDEO COVERAGE!) and it was followed by the Red Carpet Event, and subsequently, the Fan Meeting. It has been a looong day and we will be posting the latter 2 as soon as we can.

Twilight Coverage in Tokyo: Day 5 (Quick Update)
Hello Twilighters!!
Its 8.15pm and we’ve just arrived home from the Red Carpet Premiere…. And Maria and I have lost all of our fingers and toes….GONE cos of frostbite! Of course not lah!
Energy Level: 1/2 bar
Satisfaction and Happiness Level: SHOOTING OFF THE ROOF… HITTING THE ATMOSPHERE.. AND STILL GOING AND GOOOOOOOOOOOOOING..

We’re gonna take sometime to eat, upload the pictures and videos so please be patient. There will be other sources whom we have met at the event who will be posting their report. So, maybe you guys can check out those first. 
All in all, Taylor and Robert were looking sharp and classy in their suits. Both were infinite charmers. Kristen was beautiful and her eyes were so stunning! She changed 3 times in the event and she was drop dead gorgeous. PERIOD.
The fans were AWESOME cos they waited in the continuos rain and cold for soo many hours. WE SALUTE YOU!!!

It’s snowing in Tokyo!
There I was surfing the net when Maria messaged me on my phone and she said that it is snowing in Tokyo! What would it be like for us Singaporeans to see snow for the first time! All we get is either the hot scorching sun or a huge downpour.
Anyway, let us wish them luck for today’s premiere and hope that it will not snow heavily! All the best guys!

UPDATE: As of 1405 hrs (Tokyo time) which is 1305 hrs (Singapore time), Maria messaged me again saying that the morning snow has now turned to cold rain. She was queueing up for her pass along with lots of fans. And she also mention that the red carpet is set up with bright lights and the Twilight soundtrack is playing in the background! Sounds exciting guys! Can’t wait to see your pictures Aishah and Maria!!
Twilight Singapore in Tokyo: Day 4
Hi Everyone!
Day 4 was eventful. We set out to do some sight-seeing.
Itinerary: Asakusa – Sensoji Temple & Check out Fortune Cats, Ginza – Swarovski Flagship Store for the Crystal Forest, Imperial Palace, Ueno, Dinner with Evelyn in Jiyu-gaoka.
PICTURE TIME! Errr… Before we post the rest of our pictures, we’ll cut to the chase cause we met this CUTE GUY.
We met Taylor at the Sensoji Temple in Asakusa. Maria was checking out some fortune cats on a window display of a souvenir shop. Then she noticed a video camera on the outside of the shop window, directed at her. Then she looked up and saw Taylor with 2 friends and his dad. Straightaway, she called me, “Aishah! It’s Taylor!”, while pointing outside the shop. I was flabbergasted. This cannot be happening AGAIN. (But I was THANKFUL -thankyouthankyouthankyou! that it did. ) He recognized us from the airport and he was so friendly and chatted with us a bit. We gave him a gift that is a traditional Japanese gift to wish the receiver Happiness, Fortune and Luck. HEEEE…
Honestly, we had no idea that he will be there. We are NOT stalking him cause our itinerary for Day 4 was already packed with touristy stuff. NO TIME FOR STALKING. SERIOUSLY.
Ok now, here’s our pictures of what we did for Day 4.
Sensoji Temple at Asakusa
It is Tokyo’s oldest temple with more than 1,300 years of history behind it. It has dozens of souvenirs shops lining the street between the temple and the giant Kaminarimon lantern. (We copied and pasted this info from the Subway pamphlet. )

A shopper’s haven that looks like 5th Avenue in New York. Even the shops are almost similar.
The Swarovski Flagship Store with the crystal forest and crystal fountain (We were not allowed to take pictures inside.) Maria die-die (determined) wanted to come here.
For the upcoming Girls’ Day Festival in Japan on March 3rd, usually the Japanese would display set of hina dolls and household items, wishing girls healthy growth and happiness.
Bus with A LOT of TVs. I was just in awe…. How can they fit all those TVs on the side of the bus?
Imperial Place
HEHE…….
I sooooooo LOVE the lights and the reflection of the city skyline on the Imperial Palace moat. AHH!! I saw a MOAT! My FIRST MOAT!
Ueno
Er… We cancelled Ueno coz it was already too dark and we had to meet Evelyn for din-din.
Dinner with Evelyn at Jiyu-gaoka
This restaurant specialises in freshly made tofu. We had one that had a creamy texture that tasted like cream cheese. YUMMY and NICE. We were stuffed and burped all the way home. 
NO LAAA… We’re ladies you know…
Recommended Midnight Snacks for those who ever come here (Clockwise)
Yoguruto, YUZU Juice, Lemon and Honey Sweet (Good for sore throat), Teh Tarik (Milk Tea) in a bottle (SEDAP! Buy 1 for each day!), Hokkaido Cheese Cake, Peanut Butter Sandwich and.. beeru!

Twilight Singapore in Tokyo: Day 3
Hi Guys!
Just a reminder. This post does not contain anything Twilight related but more about the time spent while we’re here in Japan. Since last night till this afternoon, Me and Maria have been busy uploading our videos and photos from the Fan Meeting that was at Narita Airport. We have also been trying to keep you guys updated by answering your comments. Keep those comments coming people!
Both of us are worn out and right now as I’m typing this post, Maria is already fast asleep. Day 3 will be a short post. Just to let you know what we’ve been doing…
We went to town only in the evening to get a microphone for my video camera that we’ll be using for the premiere.
Here is a street at a residential area in Den-en-choufu. We were walking on our way to the subway station to get to town.
This is the train station at Shibuya. There were quite a number of platforms. Sorry about the blur face there..
We walked around Shibuya to explore the shops. Here’s a photo on the other side of the road. We saw many tall buildings and it was pretty busy.
After we got the microphone we needed, we headed for dinner. We were famished from a hard day’s work.
One have to keep in mind, to be very careful when crossing a HUGE traffic juction. You wouldn’t want to get lost here…
Dinner was good. We were full and tired, so we went back home after that.

Peter Facinelli: The Cullen family does not have much to do in the second book but there are important scenes. The beginning part is what really launches the Cullen family into hiding because Jasper basically attacks Bella and we realize that it might be too dangerous for her, so we pack up our bags and head out of town. That launches Bella’s journey with Jacob and how she finds out about his side of the family. The vote at the end is pretty important as well because they vote on whether Bella will become part of the family as a vampire or not. Those two things are very crucial; there is not much but it is important. I have a really nice scene with Bella where I am stitching up her finger and we are talking about how Carlisle feels about vampires and how it differs from Edward.

Twilight Coverage in Tokyo: Day 2
Here are our Day 2 events!
We arrived at the airport at 2.30pm and we walked around the terminal to check if there were any other fans who had arrived but there were no significant group who looked like they were waiting for a movie star. Rob’s flight was scheduled to arrive 3 hours later. GUESS WHAT? He travelled on our own national carrier, SINGAPORE AIRLINES from Los Angeles. HEHEE.. SO PROUD!
So we went to ‘makan’ (eat) first and then went to check our site on the internet for the latest news on anything Twilight. Then we saw the picture of him leaving Los Angeles, ie. white T-Shirt, Black Hoodie & black pants and those famous Ray Bans. So then we knew what to look out for. After that we went back to the Arrival Hall and we found more girls standing around. We approached 2 girls and said hi. We asked for who they were waiting for and they said ‘Robert Pattinson’. And we said “US TOO!” Here’s a picture of them.
The one on the left is Mayuka from Tokyo and Aki from Osaka. They’ve just met an hour before. Aki travelled 4 hours from Osaka earlier this morning and she will be staying in Tokyo till the Premiere. They made banners for Rob, which was cool. We chatted with them and we asked if they had a Japanese fansite for Twilight. But they replied that they didn’t know of any. We think that they should start one.
Later on, we finally met Tomomi from Kadokawa who directed us to the Press Pit. THANK YOU!
I was in charge of the video camera and went into the fan line, while Maria stayed in the Press Pit for the still photos.
Here is the fan situation at 4pm. Rob doesn’t arrive till about 2 hours later.
So we went to mingle with the fans and checked out what they brought…
While waiting with the fans, a local news crew came to interview us coz they found out that we came all the way from Singapore to cover the event. We don’t know when it will be coming out on TV, but we’ll keep you posted.

Apparently, he was on the same flight as Robert after all of the Oscar parties. He is in town to promote his latest movie, Australia.

Robert, a great smile on his face [with a day old stubble] came out and headed straight to his Japanese fans.
He immediately started signing autographs and posed for all those cool Japanese mobile phone cameras.
See how he reaches out for them! Look at that body language!! SOO NICEEEEE!!! SOO SWEEEET!!! YOU JUST MADE US LOVE YOU MORE, ROB…

And that’s the last photo we have of him, cause he was directed straight towards a special VIP exit. He flew by us so swiftly (Me, near to the end of the fan line and Maria who was in the Press Pit).
But seriously, despite that, it was DAMN WORTH IT! Don’t despair because we still have a video too! Its in its editing process and we’ll post it as soon as we can. We do apologize for the poor quality of the photos, but we hope you guys enjoy them just the same.

Okay you guys, we’re not sure exactly when Kristen is coming, but we were assured that she will be here for the Premiere. Until then, me and Maria won’t be updating about the cast because we would be sight -seeing around Tokyo, UNLESS that is we see them sight-seeing too. *CROSSING FINGERS AND TOES*

Twilight Coverage in Tokyo: Day 1
Hi Guys!
Sorry for the late update. This post will have the contents of what we did in Day 1 at Tokyo.
We arrived yesterday at 5.30pm [Tokyo Time]. We were jet-lagged and tired. AND GUESS WHAT??!!!
We saw TAYLOR LAUTNER!!!! We were filling up our address for our stay in Tokyo and when we turned around, Maria thought the boy in front of us looked familiar. “Isn’t that Taylor?”, Maria asked. And for sure yes, it was definitely Mr. Lautner himself. He is tall and was wearing a black leather jacket with black jeans. He was much more fairer than we expected. His hair was like those pictures from VF.
He was queuing at the immigration line together with some people. [We later found out it was a representative from Summit and we think the other was his Dad.] Maria went up to him and this how the conversation went.
Maria: “Hi, Taylor.”
Taylor turns and looks at us. He smiles. He has the MOST BEAUTIFUL SMILE EVER with lovely teeth. Haiz…
Maria continues. “Welcome to Japan! I thought you were coming tomorrow?”
Taylor answered. “No… Not tomorrow.”
There were more words that Maria said but we can’t remember them. [SORRY] Those were the only words that we heard from him. After that we joined the immigration line. So Taylor was in front of us with the people that were queuing in between us. Since it was an immigration line, the queue was looong. The line went zig-zagged. So we managed to pass by him about 5 times. Every time we passed him he either looked up or he was talking to his dad. We felt very awkward and ‘paiseh‘ (embarrassed).. HEEESS..
We didn’t manage to take photos with him or ask for an autograph because we did not want to draw attention to him. And we think that its not allowed in the immigration line. Good thing we maintained professionalism as it took a lot of will power to suppress ‘THE FAN GIRL’ in us. HAHA.
From there, we went through the immigration checks and we saw people who were receiving Taylor and his party. They helped him with his luggage and all. We collected our luggage and went down to catch an Airport Limousine (which is actually a bus) to meet our friend in town who has kindly accomodated us during this trip. The journey took about 2 hours.
We headed to Roppongi Hills to meet our friend, Evelyn, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. While waiting in the lobby… YOU GUYS KNOW WHO WE SAW??!!!
No.. not Leo… And not Matt either. HEHEHE…. Its the guy in the middle. That’s the Oscar-winning legendary director, Mr. Martin Scorsese! He has directed Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Gangs of New York, The Aviator and most recently The Departed.
Me and Maria were sitting around in the lobby (by the way, the lobby was DAMN NICE..) when Maria noticed him. “Isn’t that Martin Scorsese?” Mr. Scorsese was wearing a black overcoat and he was shaking hands with a couple of people who were waiting for him at the lobby. Then he walked towards the taxi stand where a limo was waiting for him. He walked past us and we waved while Maria said “Hello!” to him. He smiled and he waved back at us too! It was a brief encounter and we didn’t want to bother him so we did not take a photo, but it was well-worth it since he noticed us.
Thing is, I’ve realized I have managed to see more Hollywood stars right here in Tokyo than the other times that I have been to America. ITS PRETTY EXCITING!!!

Twilight News – Rob Touches Down In Tokyo!
ROBERT PATTINSON IS IN TOKYO RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! It is 9.26pm (in Tokyo) as I’m typing this. Gossipgirls.com has the info: Robert Pattinson Touches Down In Tokyo For The Premiere of Twilight.
The “Twilight” hunk arrived at Narita International Airport earlier today (February 24), greeted by a horde of screaming fans toting their “Twilight” memorabilia.
Shoutout to Maria & Aishah: *Waves* Hi Maria & Aishah! I’m sure both of you are in there somewhere at Narita International Airport!

“I’m so excited. I finally, finally got the script… and it’s good,” she revealed. “It’s really good… I’m really excited to work with Chris [Wentz, director]. I finally spoke to him the other day.” She added, “I like it better than the first one. I might be biased because I have a bigger part.”
As for “90210″ star AnnaLynne McCord joining the cast, Greene said, “AnnaLynne is actually a friend of mine, so I have heard about her being cast. There are a lot of rumors, but that one holds a little bit of weight… I hope so. She’s a great girl.”
And guess what?! Someone got casted for New Moon and it’s confirmed! Bronson Pelletier‘s agency confirmed that he has landed a “major role” in New Moon. We will only know his role sooner or later!
Congratulations to BRONSON PELLETIER who scores a lead role in the highly anticipated “Twilight” feature film sequel “New Moon”. It’s rumored he will be co-starring with Dakota Fanning.

Twilight Book Discussion: Theory
Apologies for the delay. Bessy is quite busy with school with her upcoming tests so I’ll be helping her with the book discussion. This time we thought of making the book discussion more interactive. So instead of us spilling all the questions to you, we will be posting 2 – 3 questions for each chapter and we would like you to contribute your own questions for that particular chapter. You can ask questions that is related to the chapter itself or questions that are linked between the current chapter discussed and the previous one. We hope this will make the book discussion more interactive. So without further ado, here’s Chapter 9: Theory.
“I bit my lip. He looked down at me, his honey eyes unexpectedly gentle.
“I won’t laugh,” he promised.
“I’m more afraid that you’ll be angry with me.”
“Is it that bad?”
“Pretty much, yeah.”
He waited. I was looking down at my hands, so I couldn’t see his expression.
“Go ahead.” His voice was calm.
“I don’t know how to start,” I admitted.
“Why don’t you start a the beginning… you said you didn’t come up with this on your own.”
“No.”
“What got you started – a book? A movie?” he probed.
“No – it was Saturday, at the beach.” I risked a glance up at his face. He look puzzled.
“I ran into an old family friend – Jacob Black,” I continued. “His dad and Charlie have been friends since I was a baby.”
He still look confused.
“His dad is one of the Quileute elders.” I watched him carefully. His confused expression froze in place. “We went for a walk – ” I edited all my scheming out of the story. ” – and he was telling me some old legends – trying to scare me, I think. He told me one…” I hesitated.
“Go on,” he said.
“About vampires.” I realized I was whispering. I couldn’t look at his face now. But I saw his knuckles tighten convulsively on the wheel.”

This is not Twilight related but, it seems that there is a possibility that Catherine Hardwicke might team up again with Summit Entertainment for a young adult film, ‘If I Stay’. Full story here.

Robert Pattinson, who is taller in person than you might think, was preceded by his brow and then his hair as he sauntered into the backstage area preparing to present with Amanda Seyfried. The stage manager gave them directions, coaching that he’d withheld from the more experienced presenters. He told them how to walk on and how to walk off. Producer Laurence Mark sipped hot tea behind them. “This is the real deal my darling,” the stage manager told Seyfried as she waited to go on. Pattinson stared out at the audience, with that soulful look that has made him such a teen fantasy. When they returned, Seyfried was jumpy with adrenaline and as she was guided away shouted out “Bye, dude!” to Pattinson. –GP

Twilight Singapore Goes To Tokyo! (Departure)
Hi All! This morning, Aishah & Maria left Singapore for Tokyo to meet the Twilight cast! Nasyita and myself were there to send them off. Sadly, Bessy couldn’t join us due to…school 
We’re very lucky enough to send two of our staff members to Tokyo. Therefore, do give all of your support to both Aishah & Maria! We know that they will do their best to cover the event! It’s the Oscar season and Rob Pattinson went to the Oscar’s to present an award with Amanda Seyfried from Mamma Mia! MTV Movies Blog posted a post on Rob’s hair and has pictures of Robert and other celebrities on the red carpert.

MTV has an article regarding the Eclipse’s movie release date, 30th June 2010 – Is it a good thing or a bad thing?
Okay, Twilighters, here’s the good news: You’ve made it to prime time. The release date is in late June, prime tentpole territory typically reserved for the likes of Will Smith, superheroes and hundred-million-dollar Michael Bay movies. No more of these November, let’s-hope-we-catch-the-teens-while-they’re-home-for-the-holidays release dates for you guys. In fact, a quick peek at the 2010 release schedule shows that “Eclipse” will be butting heads with such heavyweights as “Prince of Persia,” “Toy Story 3” and Jackson Rathbone’s “The Last Airbender.”
Unfortunately, there’s also some bad news: Eyebrows were raised among the fans when the “New Moon” release date was announced as being a year after “Twilight” arrived in theaters. Now, “Eclipse” will hit screens a mere seven months after “New Moon.” Figuring in the roughly three months that Chris Weitz required to prepare the second film, that gives the director of the third movie barely four months to shoot it, edit it, get the special effects up to speed and put the film in theaters. Looks like the much-anticipated Box Office showdown between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has been called off.
According to a source close to Pattinson’s Little Ashes, the movie’s release has been pushed from March 27 to May 8. The March date was significant as it marked the opening of Stewart’s movie Adventureland.
