Great news everyone – the Twilight soundtrack is setting a record!
Twilight soundtrack, 33,000. The former #1 album inches up from #6 to #5. This is the album’s 12th straight week in the top 10. That’s the longest run in the top 10 for a theatrical movie soundtrack since 8 Mile had 14 weeks in the top 10 in 2002. That monster hit included four tracks by Eminem, including the Oscar-winning “Lose Yourself.” Twilight beats two soundtracks that had 11 weeks in the winners’ circle, Chicago and Juno. Paramore’s “Decode,” the big hit from Twilight, dips to #55 on Hot Digital Songs.

Right now, people are terrified of making anything to do with the current war because the last two movies about it weren’t successful. But there is this movie that James Woods is trying to make, and it’s having a really hard time because people are so afraid of it, although it really has nothing to do with the war. We’re not saying anything about it. It has no opinion. It’s a coming home story about a girl who goes to war as a Marine and comes home a double amputee. It’s one of, if not the most powerful stories I’ve read in a long, long time. I would do anything to get that made.
Now, according to Nikki Finke, Kristen Stewart might make this movie possible!

And KStew’s no teen queen. Vanessa Hudgens can snatch that crown for all I care. KStew is a beloved woman.

@ Bessy: I know lah….but guess we gotta give Zac his due…I did enjoy HSM3 and Hairspray quite much too…but not enough to obsess about…:)
It’ll be great to watch these youngsters as they progress thru’ their career paths…what a year to look forward to!
