Twilight Soiree was a blast!

Twilight Soiree was a success yesterday! Although it was our first time organizing such an event, you guys totally had fun! We would like to thank again to the fans who came. Without you, this event wouldn’t be possible!

Twilight Night: Possibility Room & The Courtyard!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the National Library of Singapore for being our gracious host and providing catering that night! Thank you Athena!!

Preparations@ The Courtyard. ..The Prom theme: Red carpet (could not rent red carpet on our budget so we got looong red cloth and taped them to the floor), 16 regolit laterns (we got them from ikea and they looked exactly like the ones in the movie!), LED lights wrapped around the pillars (sorry they died in the middle of Twilight Night) , white lace (courtesy of Nasyita’s mom) and fresh Ivy also around pillars (like in the gazebo) as well as Red and Black Plates and cups, Red and Black Balloons and of course Edward & Bella there.

The floor was actually clean at first and then a strong wind blew in and brought down all the leaves…that actually resulted in a nice effect..hehe

Possibility Room: Introduction to NLB’s Read&Reap Iniative and Twilight Singapore. We had RazorTv and NLB cameramen covering the event.

Our HIGHEST APPRECIATION to Shaw, Warner Music and MPH Bookstores who sponsored the prizes for Twilight Soiree. Prizes consisted of tickets to Twilight’s Singapore Gala Premiere , valuable Twilight Memorabilia, Twilight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, Twilight Movie Companion Books and Twilight Movie  tie-in Books.

Bessy’s awesome TWILIGHT QUIZ starts. It was DIFFICULT and only Twi-hards can answer it. Even the Twilight Singapore staff were stumped and we all read the book  more than 4 times! WELL DONE BESSY!!

TWILIGHT NIGHT STARTS!!! Our own talented host (and staff member) The Fabulous Aishah kept the crowd excited, I mean really excited!!!

We entertained Twilighters with continous play of the Twilight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack courtesy of Warner Music as well as a  Lucky Draw, Best Dressed Contest  (red&black) and Twilight Scenario.

Twilight Scenario: Daring Twilighters come up on stage to show how best they can do their impersonation of Bella. Judges were all present who gave loud cheers for the winning Twilighter. PRIZE: Ticket to the Twilight Gala Premiere.

And the tie-breaker read as Edward! Mr. Rudy Marianto representing Shaw gave prizes to the winners.
