Are You A Twilight Convert?

Thanks to Nurulhuda for sending in your amazing story on how you converted your mom and your god sister to a Twilighter!

I convert my god sis first. She was partly why my mom is reading Twilight. She’s the one who forced my mom to read Twilight because she herself love it and that it is addictive till she can’t stop reading it. It took her 2-3 weeks to complete book 1,2 and now 3. She even did Twilight research and played Decode nonstop on her laptop.
Haha!
Now my Dearest Mom. At first, she didn’t like it much that i was very much obsessed with Twilight. I will go crazy seeing Edward. Even putting Twilight as my desktop wallpaper, she commented that Edward look like a ghost. She was there with me when i bought all 4 books of the Twilight Saga.
I persuade my mom to see the trailer at the official Twilight website. I remember that she was awed when the part Edward saves Bella when the truck almost hit Bella. She was like. “WOAH”. I told her that that is the guy who played in Harry Potter, the one who died in part 3. And she said that he is already handsome in that movie what more in Twilight.
Since Paramore’s Decode video is out at MTV, i will constantly check MTV for the video and turn the volume up high. It’s the same for the first 2 or 3 times i watch it.. Mom wasn’t there and if she was there to watch it with me, it won’t be from the start, she will see for like a few seconds or she won’t concentrate in it like i do. However now, when Decode comes out, she will take the remote.. put the volume super high than i normally do and watch Decode with me. She is beginning to love Edward now as much as i do. From her reaction seeing the video, i know she really love the saving part because she will go “woosh!”. And she wanted me to find that pose of Edward and his face in that scene!
Recently, she even end her call just to see the video haha!
My mom is reading Twilight still and she is still reading now as i am typing this. She is really into Twilight and she even wanted to see Twilight on the day of the sneak peak with me.
I am proud to say that my mom is a Twilight fan now. It’s a Teenage genre but my mom is an adult and a mother of 3 children. I’m happy that she is supporting me of my obsessiveness of Twilight. And Twilight do bring our Mother and Daughter bond closer.
I am even proud to have a mom like her =]
