OFFICIAL! Pre-Order Breaking Dawn @ POPULAR.
In this post, we mentioned that POPULAR is taking pre-orders for Breaking Dawn. Now, it is official. You can pre-order Breaking Dawn from 5th July – 1st August. POPULAR is also giving a 25% discount if you pre-order. However, it says that book redemption will be around the 2nd week of August.
And for those who have not own the Twilight Saga books or The Host, you’ll get a 20% discount for each of the books. So hurry! Offer end 3rd August!

i just went to popular this morning. they said that the pre-order for BD only applies for paperback copies. it’ll only cost you $15+. you’ll just have to leave your name and contacts.
i didn’t order, though.. i want the hardcover.. (:

i am so happy about this! I’ve made my own pre-order. And the collection is on the 4th August. Gosh! Can’t wait!! Even though it is paperback, i still want it! Haha. All i can do to take care of it is to wrap the cover and to take care of it. ^^

Cos for ppl like me, I would buy the paperback version as it is cheaper. And now that its out tgt with the Hardcover, we no need to wait for so long for the paperback to come out !! YAY !

Cos i called popular, they mentioned they don’t bring in the hardcover. And i called kinokuniya, they said they are the only store bringing hardcover version.

I’m not sure if we can get the hardcover version cos most the major bookstores will be carrying the paperback version. And I don’t think Kinokuniya does pre-ordering.

ya kinokuniya does not have pre-order.
They claimed they are the only one bringing hard cover. They also claimed they MIGHT have the book on 2 aug. That’s what they said..not very sure true or not. She advises me to call on 2 aug that day to confirm whether it is in store.

If you think about it, BORDERS and POPULAR have confirmed the release of Breaking Dawn on August 4th. If Kinokuniya is releasing it on August 2nd, then it’s unfair to the customers who are getting their book on August 4th. I believe there should be a synchronised release of the book so that everybody could get it at the same time, just like the release of the Harry Potter books.

I’ve pre-ordered a paperback version?
Oh dear. But are you sure it is paperback? Because i’ve searched the web and no paperback version has been released except for the Spanish edition.My friend confirmed with Popular that the book is hard-cover, not paperback when she pre-ordered. Not sure about Borders.
Oh dear….please please please not let it be paperback version.

Paperback edition comes out on 30 October ( only Spanish version)
No world-wide news about Paperback unless I’m wrong about the differences of Hard-cover and Paperback

Hardcover means the picture is imprinted on the cover and Paperback means a “black cover ” with a book-jacket of the Title and picture of the book, yes?
Am I right?
Or Soft-cover ( like Twilight) is also known as Paperback?

hey, i’ve emailed borders about these queries too.
they said that the paperback back version is froma local distribuutor, hence the 25% discount. however, i think that singapore’s the only place with paperback for release on the 4th, cause usually paperbacks only release a year later after the hardcover.
honestly, i don’t trust the so called local distributor, i mean think about it, there’s no news at all about a paperback version overseas. the only one would be the spanish version, but that’s only coming out in OCT.
I aslo asked borders if they will bring in the hardcover. they said probably, but they aren’t sure of the arrival date and the price. but that was two weeks ago. i’m thinking that if more people ask about teh hardcover, they’ll give us an answer soon! hopefully… so if you’ve asked and managed to get anything new, pls let everyone know.

I pre-ordered the paperback from Popular…The cashier told me it would be in hardcover so I ordered it, but, when I double checked, I was told it would be in paperback…I’m so angry at this.
I only want the hardcover…
Anyway, when the hardcover comes out, I’m going to buy it
